IOS programming newbie, working with remoteIO unit and mic
I recently started programming audio apps, working with the MultiChannelMixer sample code. I need to read the mic input into my app. Reading through tons of apple documentation but still unable to get it working. Anybody have a some straight-forward answer to how enable the mic and setup the callbacks to get audio into my app? An outline of the steps and sample code would be great.

I'm not on 10.4 at the moment, but there saare APPs that work if you can find them, but if you can upgrade then that would be even better...

You have to call Apple & likely ask for a Product Specialist to get it, if they still have it! Helps to tell them you have an iPad/iPhone & you can't run 10.6.

APPLE DOCKING STATION NO LONGER WORKS WITH TOUCH 3G and 4G after ios 4.2.1 update.
I have both of these touches. I updated both 3g and 4g to ios 4.2.1 and poof...no docking station support other than charging, no audio and no remote function. My av/cable works with the tv, and the headphone jack still outputs audio, just no auido through the Apple dock and hte remote is dead. I purchased the dock from the apple store last year and it was working with both ipod 3g and 4g grrrrr...
Is Apple now in the bug trade business?, trade one for another....

Existing Apple ID is not longer working with Face Time and Message on the iPhone after iOS 6
After the IOS 6 update on my iPhone the Apple ID is not longer working with Face Time and Message. Each time I try to log in I receive the message that the password or the user is not right. But they are, because on all other devices and all other parts of the iPhone (iCloud, AppStore, iTunes) they are working. Other Apple IDs are working fine.
What's wrong? Any idea?

It sounds like you restored from an old back-up. Did you back-up just before your software update? It will use your last one and if your last back-up was a ywear old then it will use that one.
In general, if you are getting these messages on your iPhones select logout (when you get that Apple Id request) and then log back in with your newer ID.

The speed of upload e download is good?The Creative Cloud file storage could be used for video assets but speed and performance might vary based on location. I would suggest you testing it out yourself using your Adobe ID before subscribing. Performance would not change after you joined.

Believe the first one. No one RAM test will reliably indicate RAM is bad. Once indicated, it has to be replaced.
You have to get RAM made for the mid 2012 13" MacBook Pro. Just because it says it 4GB of 1600MHz DDR3 memory does not mean it is compatible with your Mac. You have to buy RAM for Macs with lifetime warranty, that is not ValueRAM, and says the model and its time frame within the year that it was released, and its model number when buying RAM. Both http://www.macsales.com/ (OWC) and http://www.crucial.com/ sell RAM in that means of attributing what kind of RAM it is.
I ran an internet-based free diagnostic tool and it showed that my hard drive did have bad parts (corrupted? possible to fix or not?) and it was acting irregularly...
What tool? Some are known to damage software components of drives. Especially any that address system cache. -

Then, you will need to navigate to the root directory in which your media is stored. Most camcorders call this folder "PRIVATE" or "AVCHD" and it should be located at the very top level of the camcorder when mounted. I purchased Label Printer Pro 7, but it does not work. It crashes. I press print, and the program closes. I press save, and the program closes. I press print and the program closes. I have had an email exchange with Pabel Printer Pro 7, but the best they could offer was to go to Utilities and click on fixed permssions. I have done that several times, and the program still doesn't work.
Can you please recommend an address.shipping label program that works with Avery labels that I can purchase, and that is also simple to use?

There is no solution. The Canon UFR2 driver used by the MF series does not work when connected to a Windows share or a wireless print server, including the Airport Extreme or Express. The problem is wholly to do with the way in which Canon has written this driver and therefore the Canon support staff should know this and tell you (although their Mac knowledge in Australia is pitiful and most likely the same in your region).
If you had a model with Ethernet, then you could connect it to the wireless router and print via IP > LPD. But I know that your MF4150 only has USB as I mate of mine had one and he had exactly the same issue on Tiger, which I documented on the Tiger forum and the Airport printing forum.
So, don't waste your money on a print server. Get rid of the Canon and get something that will work for all your OS's. If I can suggest, the safest purchase would be to get a model that supports Postscript. While this does cost more, it will help to avoid any limitations that can occur when using a vendors proprietary printer language, like Canon's UFR2.

There was a issue with school computers being used to spy on kids in their bedrooms, Mac's were involved.
So Apple most likely tightened the API's to only select, trustworthy companies as not to abuse the web cam access priviledge.
If you want to use a web cam with these other programs and services, you'll likely have to buy a third party USB one, so you can manually disconnect it.
There isn't a way to physcially disconnect the built in web cam on Mac's without busting open the machine. -

Router IOS requirements to work with WAAS WCCP?
Can some help me with up to date switch and router IOS requirements to work with WAAS WCCP configuration? There used to be a Cisco document explaining that but I can't find it any more.
Here is out WAAS 4.2.3 deployment in the network:
Data center: Cat6500 Sup720-3B running IOS 12.2(18)SXF12a will do WCCP L2 redirection. I've seen minimum Sup720 IOS requirement of 12.2(18)SXF13 in one place and 12.2(18)SXF16 in another, but there are also examples of using 12.2 (18) SXF5. Which one is the latest Cisco recommendation?
Remote sites: 3825 and 3845 routers (some are running 12.4 T train and some are in 12.4 main line) will do WCCP GRE redirection to WAE's. One of the routers will use a WAE-NME-522 module. Others are WAE applicances. Again, what are the latest Cisco recommendations?
Another question: for an IOS release, does it matter which package to use, such as advanced IP services, enterprise services, or SP services?

Quite a few of my addons don't work with firefox 6, and I would prefer to keep them, but my pc crashed and I had to reformat. I don't want to have to go on a 3rd party site, since they could easily put a virus on my pc. I couldn't find anywhere to download it on the site.
