Hi everyone,
I am preparing for my CCNA, while I am working GNS3 or the real routers or switches some commands are not applied. I did some researches online and found it is the IOS versions that I am using. so can any one give me a brief description for the IOS versions and specs, and which lab routers and switches have full version in general. something else which routers and switches are best to build up a home lab to practice hands-on lab at home

Hello,
GNS3 simulator is good for practice and traoubleshooting the real time senario, try to use ios for 3800,3700 or 2600 series switch with NME module for switching practice but with limited functionlity.

You would only be able to restore to a backup to iCloud or iTunes:

I just tried to install the new IOS version and now my screen is all black.. since an hour. My power button is broken so i cant reset my phone. When i plugg it in my computer, it makes a sound, but the screen stays black.

Help please. I updated the iOS version and I couldn't understand an essence of synchronization of my files. Now memory of phone is empty: there are neither photos nor contacts... Whether it is possible to return everything if the backup copy too is empty?
Sorry to hear that, but this forum is for us, users, and what you need is someone from Xperia Care to find your motherboard and send it back, I don't think it'll be possible to retrieve any data from a broken motherboard.

hi all, i just updated my iphone 3gs with 5.0 ios version and now i cannot configure the iphone with it because itunes is not recognizing my iphone
Contacts are NOT part of the iTunes backup. If you had read the User Guide when you got your phone, you would have learned that Apple recommends you synch your contacts for safekeeping to your computer (Outlook, Address Book) or a cloud service. Using the phone as your only source of your contacts is foolish as the phone can easily be lost, damaged, stolen, or the data become corrupt.
If you've been using your phone as strongly recommended, your contacts are safe and sound on your computer or cloud service ready to be synched back to your phone. Of course, you should be backing up your computer regularly as well.
If you haven't been doing this, your contacts are likely gone. -

(0xE800000A) my itunes account will now not connect to my iPhone, what has happened?
I updated via my laptop and always kept the latest version on there.
I may delete my iTunes and then re-install just to make sure it is the most up to date version but I am 99% sure it is.
The update for my phone has worked...it is running off the iOS6.0.1 but just without all my old data (as I didnt back it to iCloud but iTunes instead).
Also, as of about 10 minutes ago my iTunes isn't functioning properly.
Will see if re-installing iTunes helps or not, seems like my files are gone for good though.
I am getting the iPhone 5 next week, hence my last minute rush to update all software...seems to have backfired somewhat! -
i downloaded new data thing and i changed my acount and signed out then it say this apple id has not been used in the i tunes store but when i try use it in itunes store it says the same thing help me i beg u!!!

I' have realy big layer two access network made of etherogenius Cisco switch with different IOS version and train.
My customer bought ISE (ADVANCED AND BASE LICENSE).
As far I read on DS it is seem that if you have Minimum IOS release 12.2(52) SE you are able to perform COA, reading DS with more attention I notice that cisco raccomend IOS versione 12.2(55)SE3 why ? does it means COA does not work with 12.2(52)SE ?
But more important :
I need a minimum IOS release to perform 802.1x on my wired network ?Carlo,
Here is the guide that states 12.2(52)SE but the foot note states that for 802.1x authentication you need 12.2(55)SE.

After checking the release notes this solution falls under the Cisco Trustsec which is supported on 12.2(55)SE, there are several features released in 12.2(55)SE such has vlan assignment in multi-auth mode that makes it much easier for Cisco help generate initial configs for their customers.

i have a 4.2.1 i pod touch and it says i need a 4.3 ios version and it wont show any signs of software update underneath the 'about' area i dont know how to change this
It is likely you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to 4.2.1
