IOS6: Can't "send to" Dropbox or GoodReader anymore

In both my iPad 3 and my iPhone 4S, the upgrade to iOS6 now no longer offers non-Apple apps or the ability to choose any app when viewing a photo or PDF in apps such as mail, photo album, etc. Anyone else have this issue or see something I'm missing to send images or PDFs to non-Apple apps?

Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and right click on it. From the resulting menu select 'Show File (or 'Show Original File' if that's available). A Finder Window +should+ open with the file selected. Does it?

I went back to the ATT store recently to try to get my phone working properly, since I am usin my Iphone with my pay as you go plan that I use since 2007, I can't send or recieve any text messages
I had some technicians online but they where never capable to resovle my problem, with my old phone I could send messages, since I use a smatphone (Iphone) not anymore.
This is sometimes a problem because some companies like Huber and Lift likt to send text messages to set up an account with them.
So for me that means i can't set up an account, because I have issues with my ATT account.

Believe it or not i was in the ATT store with some of your ATT people online and on the phone for more than one hour, and they could not solve my problem. finallu i had to leave, because I ran out of time, they they started to do over and over the same things.
Why is this, it is 2015 why can't I out off all the people recieve text messages
I am still waiting for a solution, to go to an ATT store makes no sence the only thing they want to do is to sell you a more expencive plan.Who had the same expierence and what was the solution

On Messages I can't send under my phone number anymore.

So, I've been using Messages for a while now and everything has been working great. I was logged in under my Apple ID and I had the choice to send them under my email or under my phone number.
Well, all of a sudden my friend messaged me back asking why I was messaging from my email and not my phone number. I have no idea how to fix this problem.
I have logged out and logged back in. I've tried setting things up differently on my phone so that iMessages are only sent from my phone number. I can't think of anything else to do.
And I am aware that iChat is not exactly the correct area to post this question, but there was no way for me to post under a 'Messages' area. This was the closest second.

Snow Leopard and the Lion Areas have a category called iChat and iChat Sharing
(although I tend to only answer here)
Mountain Lion has a Messages Category which I do read and Answer.
If in Messages Menu > Preferences > Accounts > the iMessages account the drop down at the bottom of the right hand side does not list your iPhone Number and it is also not listed a a Possible nearer the top then remove the Apple ID on the iPhone.
So that is on the iPhone in Settings > Messages > Send and Receive remove the Apple ID
In Settings > Messages turn Off Messages (Break with the server)
Wait for few minutes
Turn Message Back on.
After another wait (so the iPhone Number is "registered") then add the Apple ID again.
Now turn Off Messages on the Mac.
Restart Messages and the app should get an Alert saying the iPhone is using the Apple ID and the iPhone Number and whether you want to use them in Messages. (Saying No still lists them but does not make them Active)

Can't send documents with Web Intelligence anymore

Hi everybody,
I'm implementing BO XI R2 SP2. The installation is OK, but when I import the repository from BO 6.5, I cannot send any document with Web Intelligence. I found the following message in the log files :
assert failure: (.\wireob.cpp:667). (false : Error: Wrong number of parameters in URL ).
Can somebody help me?

The error is just an assert that gets thrown into our log files but likely has nothing to do with the issue. I'd suspect either import wizard workflow or maybe permissions? You will likely need to verify the workflow with BO-support and/or trace some of the processes to see where the problem is occurring.

I just updated the software for my iphone and ipad. For some reason, I can't send messages from my iphone anymore, and I can send them from my ipad. How do I turn the iphone messenger back on?

If your iPad is on iOS 3 as your tagline implies then you can update to 5.1.1 via your computer's iTunes.
Connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the iPad via File > Devices > Back Up.
Then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand sidebar (you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC), and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button

Try resetting all network settings, or turn the airplane mode on then off, or restarting the device itself
if all else fails, do a restore (Back-up everything before doing this)
if it still fails, contact apple or your wireless carrier.

The nice thing about owning this overpriced POS is that Apple not only doesn't support it, but also doesn't want to hear about anything negative regarding it. So I spoke to the so-called "support" people at Apple who successfully screwed up my contacts beyond repair. I got a nice email from Apple asking me to rate the support I got. I was actually civil and described the issue tactfully. What do I get in return? Nothing. Not a damned thing!! You're luck you've got me by the short hairs on a 2 year contract but I'm still tempted to throw this POS through the front window of the nearest Apple store!! Not only will I be replacing this phone with a competitive product but I won't be buying anymore Apple crap. I guess when you con 27 million people into believing your rhetoric and sales lies, you don't have to care whether some customers get screwed or not. At this point, no one has posted a diagnosis of why this function is no longer working in Firefox 31. Unfortunately, with hundreds of changes in each version, it is difficult to track down without "hands on".

The PDF will be too large to email to your parents - copy it to a USB stick or burn it as CD or DVD and send it as a letter. Or upload it to a server for download, your Dropbox, etc.

I made a home movie using iMovie (OS X Snow Leopard), exported it to iTunes (lastest version), and shared the movie to my iPhone 4S (latest iOS update). Now I want to send the movie via iMessage (both parties on Wi-Fi). However, the home movie shows up in the "Videos" app and there is no option to send it. And I can only send videos taken by the iPhone and in camera roll when I try to send via iMessage. Is there any way I can do this?

why don't you upload it to free cloud services like dropbox/skydrive/google drive and then just send the link to that file? In that way, others don't need to download the whole thing to view. They can if they want to.
plus imessage won't be burdened with the size of your upload.

Or save it to your drive, put it on a server and give them the link.

Yes, but you shouldn't.
Here's how.
Export the Slideshow to the FInder - a process that will make a QuickTime movie of it.
Attach that movie to the email. Send
Why not? Videos are very large files. Most Internet providers have a limit on the largest file you can send. Sending one too large means it can bounce back to you. ALso, even if the other person can receive it, downloading large files via email is slow, and can even cause crashes on some email apps on older systems.
Intead of emailing it, upload it to DropBox, YouTube, Vimeo, or any other sharing site and send the person a link.
Then they can download it themselves

I'd try Dropbox (http://www.dropbox.com/), which you and your recipient both have to have. It's easy, and the free version would probably be enough. There are any number of other services available for emailing large files (google that). Of course, your recipient must have KN installed to be able to view it correctly, or can view it in PP, but with some loss, primarily transitions/animations.
