Ios6 suddently shut down

HI there,
Last night my iPhone4 suddenly started to ask me to log in to ios6. I was not able to connect to itunes and the phone is all dead. The apple logo keeps coming in/off inintervals of 2 seconds. Nothing helps to get it back - I tried to install the "basic fabric installation" but after the software download it gives me an error.
i tried to set it in
I desperate need the phone to be back "alive". Does anyone know the answer to my problems?

This has happened to me twice now within about a month or so. I'm a "hit any key" type of person, so I stumbled across the fix. However, my question is will this likely continue and is it time for a new phone? I'm eligible for an upgrade but, other than this issue, have no reason to upgrade. I like what I have. If I do upgrade, will likely go with the 5/5S. I guess, in short, the question is does this mean the 4 is dying?

Last 2 weeks, suddenly my macbookpro shut down, and it makes me shock.
After a few second shut down, i try to turn it on.
it just make sound like turn on your mac and suddenly shut down again.

No data is lost due to resetting the SMC.
But after i unplug the charger it suddently shut down again

Hopefully your important files are backed up just in case.

Hello, got this ipad3 for my 60th birthday, so not too good with it, I downloaded the Planet Rock app, and it seemed to work fine with IOS5, now with the updated IOS6 it shuts down after 20 seconds or so, also lost the YouTube app, I'm getting disheartened by this overly expensive gadget please help if you can, many thanks.

Try resetting the SMC.
MacBook and MacBook Pro with a battery you can remove
Shut down the computer.
Disconnect the MagSafe power adapter from the computer, if it's connected.
Remove the battery.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Release the power button.
Reconnect the battery and MagSafe power adapter.
Press the power button to turn on the computer
To reset the SMC on newer Mac portables with a battery you cannot remove
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.

Sudden Shut down

There is another topic about a person's computer seemingly overheating and shutting down. Mine is a slightly different problem.
I have had issues with my 17" MBP for quite a while with sleeping and waking up. I have another post dealing with that, however I now have a more serious problem.
If I am running my machine on battery it will suddently shut down without any warning whatsoever. The battery is well charged (both with the button on the underside of the machine showing at least four lights and the battery indicator showing plenty of juice left). I will be working and it simply shuts down.
Any ideas?

I just drove the hour to, and hour back from the Apple Store. The guy at the genius bar saw my laptop shut down. He then popped the battery out and saw that it was slightly damaged due to overheating (funny thing is I told him I have read about this happening to other MacBook Pros and he said, "It's not an official problem". To which I say, thanks Apple for not officially recoginizing a problem that others are having so you don't have to do a recall).
Anyhow, he said he would order me a battery, BUT he couldn't ship it to me (even if I left him my old battery). Instead I have to drive back to the Apple store to swap it out in person.

Yes, and, I try to restore. I have the T-Mobile sim card in it just to clarify. It will not let me get passed that, it does not accept the t-mobile sim card. i tried restoring it using wifi, cellular, and i cant get i tunes. I am scared that if i take the tmobile sim card out and put the at&t one in just to complete the restoration process that the iphone will lock again and not read the tmobile sim card, then all my hard work has gone for nothing. Every time I try to open my iMessage my iPod shuts down. I have a 4th gen iPod with ios6. I will attempt to open the app and it will either shut down and restart as soon as the white screen comes up or I will see my previous messages and try to open a thread then it will restart. Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

Backup and restore your software via iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a NEW device. If this solves it, that means there is some corruption in your backup file. If the problem is still there, you should take it to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store for evaluation.

If, in Console, you see messages about maximum temperature exceeded for 30 seconds, you have a thermal problem, either a failing Power Supply Unit, dried thermal paste, bulging or leaking caps or a bad connection.
Plenty of choices, you can open your machine and look to see if any of the caps is leaking or swollen, you can also clean all the dust out of the machine and make sure the fans and air vents are clean.
Then reset your SMU:
1. Shut down the computer.
2. Unplug the computer's power cord.
3. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
4. Release the power button.
5. Attach the computers power cable.
6. Press the power button to turn on the computer.
After that, reset the PRAM and please post back and let us know how things went.
It would also help if you would list the exact model of G5 iMac you have.

USB connection to iTunes. Back up your 3GS with your last 3GS back up. DON'T use an iPhone 4 back up or higher. It will cause exactly this.

What have you done so far to try to fix it? I've tried rebooting several times and it did not work. Tried connecting to iTines but it does not recognize the iPhone.
My other iPhone 4s restarted successfully after the updgrade but some apps don't function properly. It automatically closes while in use.
Apple please help. I know it's the weekend but I need the other iPhone to work. Can't use sim with a diffrent phone because it's a micro sim!

Try removing any all-day events from the calendar for the 1st April 2013 e.g. if you are syncing the calendar from somewhere else (e.g. Outlook on a PC or iCal/Calendar on a Mac) then change it to a timed event instead of all-day - it seems that there is a problem with all day events on that date which is when the clocks change due to daylight saving.

You must have the credentials that were used to turn on Find my iPhone on the device. Without them, you can not get past the activation lock.
