IOs6 updated to iOs7 skype program migration, mic not working please help

i recently updated the i-pad of a friend from previous version of iOs to the latest release and skype was affected ... mic is no longer working ....

Don't know if you fixed this but I had the same problem after the update to IOS 7.
Go to Settings "private" and you'll find the apps that have requested access to the mic, check the button next to Skype.

I would imagine your iPhone was hacked to make it work on your local carrier.
Updating the iOs to 5.xx will lock it back to the original carrier .The carrier holding the lock are the only
entity able to authorise the unlock .You will have to contact them and see if they unlock and the terms the apply

An iPhone backup to a computer via iTunes stores the photos in a backup file that is only meant to be be used if needed to restore back to the phone. There is 3rd party "extractor" software available but otherwise the photos are not directly viewable.
The backup via iTunes was a good idea and your Camera Roll photos should be there and should be able to be restored to your new phone. However if it was me I wouldn't rely on that alone. I would also import the photos to a computer where you can see and verify that you have a copy. That is a good idea at any time (not just when you know you might need it). Any phone can be lost, broken, suffer hardware issues, etc at any time and lose all data on it. well first make sure that when you click on the name of your iphone on the left hand side of itunes that you go to the app and music tab and check mark the sync apps and sync music. then try clicking apply in the bottom right hand corner. then if not try doing it again after going to prefrences in the top menu and going to devices tab and click reset sync history if that doesnt work with music try and drop and drag to the name of your iphone, lastly if that doesnt work you can try restoring from a backup from before you updated. it will keep the new software but put everything that was on your phone when you created the backup back onto your phone.

Maverick update now my login screen does not work please help.

Hello hope you can help. I have a 24 inch Mid 2007 Intel iMac. It has been great until now. I recently did the Maverick update and now my login screen does not work. When I wake the computer up the screen appars with my picture icon. When I click on it nothing happens. If I click on it a second or third time the beach ball appears and nothing happens. I have to shut the unit down with the power button and when the unit powers back up everything works normally. Are there any suggestions out there? I have updated the software without resolution. Is this computer too old? Do I have to buy a new one?

Your iMac can support Mavericks according to the requirements > OS X Mavericks: System Requirements
Try a Safe Mode boot. That deletes some system caches that may help.
Startup your Mac in Safe Mode
A Safe Mode boot takes much longer than a normal boot so be patient.
Once you are in Safe Mode, click Restart from the Apple () menu.
See if there's an improvement for the login screen.

Iphone 5 - Since I have updated to ios7 my facetime and imessage is not working :( Please help!!

Since I have updated my software, my imessage and facetime is not activating. I have tried to reset the phone, holding the lock button and the home button, trying to connect it under different wifi. Nothing seems to be working, it is really frustrating as I am a big user of facetime & imessage and many of my messages are not being recieved due to imessage not working. If anyone has anyother ideas or tips how to help me out I would really really appreciate it!!

Realtek Mic stopped working Please Help.

I'm on a Toshiba NB205-N325BN, Windows 7 Home Premium, Intel Atom processor N280 o 1.66GHz, 512KB L2 Cache, 667MHz FSB Mobile Intel® 945GSE Express Chipset. Audio Driver is a Realtek High Definition Audio driver version 6.0.1.5904
My internal mic stopped working. I'm not sure how long it hasn't been since I don't use it all the time, but when I went to use skype last night I found that the mic wouldn't work with anything even the sound recorder program in the accessories folder. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, but to no success. I figured I give this forum ago to see if any one could help otherwise I'll have to call the Toshiba support line or do a clean install of windows (which I do not want to do at this time.)

I actually got in contact with Realtek's support via e-mail, and they sent me a program to install that will let them check their devices that are on the machine. After I ran the scan this is the conversation that we had:
Realtek: "We found you had plugged a external mic to microphone jack. Have you tried to unplug external mic and then check the built in mic ?"
Me: "I don't own an external mic, but I did plug in my headphones into the mic port by accident recently maybe that was it? I don't have anything plugged in right now and it's not working."
Realtek: "Please try to dump audio info again(run the scan again) during recording interanl mic sound."
After I ran the scan again they sent me these instructions, and I'm kind of confused on what he means (I think the support is in Asia somewhere and they are translating each message at a time.)
Realtek: "We tried to check it with TOSHIBA. Your machine supports audio prower download feature after audio idle status. You can try to turn off this function on the Power Manager Page of Realtek HD Audio Manageer. Or you can try to plug headphone jack to keep audio power up state .
Can anyone help me understand that last part? I went to the Audio Manager and I didn't see a Power Manager page anywhere! Does "Or you can try to plug headphone jack to keep audio power up state." Mean that it might start working if I try to use it with headphones?

Downloaded Update Software now Ipod is not working - Please Help

I downloaded Update Software onto Ipod and now Ipod is not working. It is stating "Itunes detected an Ipod in recovery mode. You must restore this ipod before it can be used in Itunes". Here's the deal I did that now the Ipod just blinks the circle with the line through it and says do not disconnect. Nothing happens. Has the new software corrupted my Ipod? Can anyone Help

There are many significant errors here for instance you are using a class file as if it were an applet yet you do not subclass applet. Your code has no init method (if it is to be an applet). Your best bet is to go through the tutorials one step at a time. One thing to consider is to subclass a JPanel and draw on the jpanel overriding the paintComponent method. This can then be added to a JFrame or a JApplet's contentPane and would allow the same graphics in both. But again, please study the tutorials on all of this, otherwise you will be doing hit-or-miss programming, and that is no way to learn.

Addendum: Also, if you are just beginning in Java programming, I suggest you start with the basics and not with Swing / AWT / graphics programming. Otherwise you will just end up bruised and disappointed. You have to learn to walk before you can run.
