IOS7 and iWork are very bad

Could anybody tell me how to overcome the issue of VERY SLOW RESPONSE TIME in all iWork Apps (Numbers, Pages, Keynote) ? I have just a 2 pages word document. Trying too just insert 1 sentense in. It took at least 15 second to select the text, and another 15 second until the menu of copy cut paste appear.....
Do I have to uninstall all Apps and leave only iWoks in the iPad or shall I uninstall ipad in my life and start installing samsung instead...?
This really disappointing. At least Apple should give the option for user to stay or revert back to the old IOS version and the old iWork version. Those developer in Apple think that they have created a good improvement, while infact it is extremely ugly.

Yes my wife bought one as well against my advice.
Keep in mind that Apple is really only interested in future purchasers, not past purchasers, who are actually nuisances.

What have you figured out? Anything? What you show just shows a pretty quiet system except for firefox having a bunch of tabs open. You've got some page ins and outs so you maybe your'e hitting your HD with swap files more than what you think?
I think something like coconut battery app or something like it will tell you the charge cycles on the battery. How many do you have?
Lastly, are you using any extensions like ad blocker, or click to flash?

CS 6 frame, tools, and descriptions are very pixeled

Not all the time, but since I installed PS 6 on my new Mac Book Pro, the frame, tools and navigator are extremely pixeled... it looks like a file of 70 Kb is enlarged to 20x25 cm... Does anybody knows how to solve this problem?
(uploaded the latest version on last Tuesday, so I assume I'm up to date)

Only your cell service provider can unlock the phone. We cannot help you with that.

Copy them the correct way.
Close iTunes on both computers.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder for the old computer to the new computer.
Open iTunes on the new computer. Everything in iTunes will be exactly as it was on the old computer.

Sorry, not quite accepted, I see that I missed something out...
This rapid flashing has only occured since I had BT Sport included in my package a few days back. Before then the light had been stable green with the occasional rapid flashing whilst I have been connected to the internet. That obviously does indicate data transfer.
However, when I was not connected to the internet, the light glowed a stable green all the time. Now it flashes rapidly even when I'm not connected - I'll add there that my BT Vision box remains on all the time.
Heat - The unit IS WARMER than it was - That may sound nit-picking but with my OCD's I "Touch-check" every item of electrical equipment every time I leave my house and, when I go to bed at night so I am very well used to "How warm something should be" so that in my mind, I "Feel Safe". At this time I don't "Feel Safe" with the increased temperature so have to switch it off overnight, or when I leave my house.
** The unit may of course be warmer due to extra data-transfer but then, why do I suddenly have extra, and constant data transfer when my computers are switched off and I'm not using the internet?
A thought about that I think could be that someone else is constantly accessing my connection though I've no idea how that could be so or if that ever could happen.

Epson R2400 prints from Apterture and CS2 are VERY close.

Using the same NEF file that Frank donated, I printed an untouched(cropping only) print from Aperture to my Epson R2400 on premium lustre paper.
I took the white balance temp(4906 K) and tint(-14) from the HUD and applied these into Bridge(temp/tint for the same NEF), with default values for everything else default(exposure:0, shadows:5, brightness:40, contrast:+25, saturation:0, sharpening:25), and color space sRGBIEC61955-1, then opened it in CS2 and printed it.
NOTE: I am using PowerRIP-X V7.2 from iProof Systems for my print driver, it is installed like a printer and shows up as a printer on the selection list. IMHO, the $200 I spent on the R2400 RIP was money well spent. Between the RIP and the calibrated monitor, my color matching from screen to print is dead on, regardless of the paper type.. no more wasted prints and frustration. They also sell a RIP for the Epson 4800.
The prints from both are very, very, close. I have been shooting digital since 1997 and therefore do not own a scanner, so this is my visual review. Although I might shoot em tomorrow with my D2X on a tripod while lighting with a 47" Octabox... we'll see.
The CS2 print has a very slight bit more saturation of the skin tones(reddish) than Aperture. The shirt in the Aperture print is a very slight bit darker than the CS2 print.
If you look very closely and angle the light just right you can see a slight bit of the earlier mentioned blocking in the shadow on the subjects left shoulder.
I suspect the slight darkening of the shirt color may be due to the same reason for the aforementioned blocking in the shadow areas.
There is no appreciable difference in print quality.
I calibrate my 20" Cinema Display with a Spyder2PRO device and these slight differences are seen on screen as well, therefore on hardware calibrated displays the following screen capture should represent the differences..(I have no idea what this will look like on a windoze monitor!)

There seems to be two issues here. For output, using
the same output profile, Aperture and Photoshop
should be pretty close however, keep in mind that
unless you set Photoshop to use the Apple CMM (not
ACE) there could be a tiny bit of difference.

I'm trying to remember what Bruce Fraser said about CMM choice the last time I attended on of his lectures. If I have it correctly he had reservations about all of them but the Adobe CMM was the best of the lot.
This was over a year ago so conditions may have changed and my memory may be faulty....
But I imagine that their might be negative consequences to using two different CMMs to process your data. Photoshop allows you a choice of CMM's, which is consistent with an application "designed from the ground up for professional photographers."
Aperture limits many choices, both basic and esoteric.

Upgraded to 4.2 and now Mail and Safari are VERY SLOW...

For some reason since I upgraded to 4.2, both my email and safari are MUCH slower than they were before. Web pages take longer to load and when the Mail program checks for mail it takes forever. I checked out our internet connection (cable modem and Airport Extreme) and the connection is still very fast using our computers. This slowness issue is ONLY with the iPad. Has anyone else noticed internet speed issues with 4.2? ; Is there any solution? I have tried switching on and off the wifi option on the iPad and even restarting the unit but nothing seems to help.

Hi Steven,
Tap Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings.
Restart your iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPad. To turn iPad back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.
Sometimes resetting to default factory settings can help a connection issue.

Bug : ibook on IOS7 and ipad 2 very very slow with pdf

today i try ibook and iOS7 and large pdf file (500 pages with a few photos) ibook take 10 or 15 seconds and more to load a page it's usefull.
it wasn't on IOS6 it seems to have a big bug with pdf preview? another apps " larousse patisserie" have the same slow down issue (will it use pdf page too)??
please report it quickly... if you have an idea?

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

If you use extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) like Adblock Plus or NoScript or Flash Block that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.

I cannot print a pdf-file normally, parts are good (good black printed) and parts are very light

Yes i tried with new reader version 11.0.8, If i print file using these two reader versions 9.1 and 11.0.8 are giving good print exactly like in the file but the only problem is from c# program using 'DDE Commands' if i send the same file to the same printer this print looks differently ('colors shift and the black text prints a lot darker'') for sample code please see my first message. Do i need to change any thing in my code? Please do the needful.
