IOS7: control center audio?

iOS7: I had to download podcast app to now listen to podcasts. Control center doesn't seem to control podcast audio -- so, it's only for music?

Thought I had the same problem but since updating to ios 7 hadnt restarted phone. Since doing that it works fine
Give it a try

  • IOS7 Control Center Swipe Multiple Times

Having to swipe 'up' my IOS7 control center multiple times (5-10x common). Sometimes it will not come up at all. Is anyone esle having similiar issues?
I have rebooted the iPad which has helped but overall performance is the swiping i find annoying and often doesn't work.
Anyway to change settings to use the old IOS6 whereby you can double-click the home button and have contol center pop-up

Screen is clean. I will take off the protective cover....maybe it is covering the sensitive area.

  • Strongly recommended: ios7 control center switches to user-defined, we can add the cellular and 3G switch.

  • Ios7 - Control Center landscape mode

I've been playing around with different features of ios7 and online I see that Control Center shold work in landscape mode. When I try it, it does not work (only in portrait mode). I've tried it on my 5s, my wife's 4s, and my iPad (3rd gen).
Is this a feature that was in the developer versions but didn't make it into general release? Not a big deal, but I'm curious.

I've tested it in Messages, Safari, Gmail. It works fine in all of them.
I don't think I did anything special to make it happen.

  • Ios7 - control center hard to open

I have an iPod Touch 5 G updated to iOS7. Sometimes I can swipe up and the Control Center appears. At times I cant and I found I needed to use a stylus. Is there a trick to opening this or maybe I am swiping in the wrong area?

  • Upward swipe is not registering in iOS7 to bring up control center

Hi there. Basically, I just recently installed iOS7 on my iPhone 4. So far everything has been working really well, except for the control center. This is not related to that other security bug. My problem is, swiping upward on the phone works less than half the time to bring up the control center. I generally have to make an upward swiping motion four or five times before the control center goes up. It's just, odd. Notification center and spotlight respond perfectly to my swipes. I've even held the phone upside to see if maybe swiping toward me was just easier for the phone to interpret. No dice. Three other people I know have this exact same problem, all of them with iPhone 4. Has anyone else had this problem or now how to fix it? I've tried turning my phone on and off, I've let it run down and then recharged it, still the problem persists.

I had this problem also. First thing I tried was to reset your device.
Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. That seemed to help.
But then I discovered that a light swipe starting just off the screen at the bottom worked well.
When I tapped and swiped on the screen I often did not get the Control Center to come up. But after practicing some with a swipe beginning just off the bottom of the screen I get the Control Center to come up every time.

  • Upgraded to ios7 on iphone4. Swipe up to bring up control center wont work. Turned optins on and off restarted phone.  No luck .  Any ideas

Upgraded iphone 4 to ios7.  Swipe up to get control center works when it feels like it, which is seldom. I have turned options on and off, restarted the phone, no go. Btw, swipe down on lock screen to see events no good as well.  Any ideas.

  • Ipad 2 updates to ios7, no Airplay visible on controll center

    Hello,
Unfortunately I could not find the Airplay button on controll center.
    Same to you?

Reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears (no data will be lost)
Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings (You will not lose any data but it will reset the settings in your Settings app.)
Backup, Connect to iTunes and restore. This will download and clean install iOS7. After it finishes, walk through the setup and restore from backup when prompted.

  • Controll center. How to use on ipad5 and IOS7?

Can someone help me to use controll center on Ipod5 and IOS7?

    Maxt

    Hi again,
It only works on iOS 7. You use one finger - try doing it on the home screen.
It may be disabled in settings (I don't know where it is as I don't have my iOS 7 device on me right now).
    Hope this helps! :)

  • Audio Controls not working from Control Center.  iOS 7  7.0.1

So my audio transport controls from control center don't work on my iphone 5C iOS 7.0.1
Works on my iPad 3rd Gen and iPhone 4S.

Me too. A complete restore didn't help at all, either. Doesn't control itunes, Pandora, nuthin.
Also, my bluetooth controls in my car don't work, though music WILL play via bluetooth. Can't control from the steering wheel anymore.

  • Screen transparency ios7 in control center and notifications

Just switched to ios7. The Control Center screen is not transparent, it is opaque grey. Simliarly, the Notifications Center screen is not transparent, it is opaque black. For everyone else I know, these screens are transparent, as advertised. What is going on here? Can I change a setting to fix this?

If you have Settings > General > Accessibility > Increase Contrast turned on, that is one of its effects.

  • My control center is not colorful in iphone 4 ios7

I have iphone 4 and when i open control center so it's not transparent and my cousine has iphone 4 his control center is colorful ......why ?

Your cousin has a 4S, not a 4. The transparency effects are not supported on the 4. Only the 4S and higher.

  • Pressing play in control center in ios7 does not work

Has anyone else tried to press play in control center to continue listening to itunes and nothing happens? The volume control works but not play..

I'm with you.  I went from a Windows HTC phone which worked perfectly to an IPhone 5S and now the message feature on my 2010 Honda Insight does not work. Since I do quite a bit of traveling, this is a little annoying.

  • Airplay button missed on Control Center iOS7.

This is driving me nuts. I have an ipad 4 with iOS 7.0.3 and a Mac Mini late 2012 with Mac OS Mavericks. And I can't use airplay, (neither airdrop but at least I see the airdrop option on control center on iPad).
Both devices are in the same network.
    Both are up to date.
I already reboot and reset the iPad and the Mac mini and the router.
Both devices are like brand new but it seems that doesn't work anything. On the iPad I can acces to any photo and then I see the airplay icon in the shares option but only reconigze the iPad itself. Also I see in mavericks in System Preferences> Displays> Airplay Display : No devices detected. The only thing that works in both devices is the wireless sync with iTunes.

If you don't see the AirPlay icon in the Control Center:
    1. Turn off router, Apple TV and iPad
    2. Turn on router and then wait 30 seconds for it to complete start-up process
    3. Turn on Apple TV and then wait 30 seconds for it to complete start-up process
    4. Turn on iPad (wait 30 seconds) and test AirPlay
