Ios7 Email text colors

I am happy with ios7 overall except for the following issue that I am trying to find a way around
When there is an email thread going on with several replies from multiple people the color of the email text in the history ( quoted text two or three threads older) gets very difficult to read.
The very first reply is usually black and the older one becomes blue which is bad because it is the exact same color shade as the reply and delete buttons. However it gets worse. If you scroll down further and look at replies two or three threads older the color gets to a horrible flavor of green with inbetween blues.
I find this not very annoying and I am unable to read. Things get way worse on the ipad than on the iphone.
Is there a way to change the email text colors in the settings somewhere. I use my phone as a primary phone for my corporate email and hence using third party apps like yahoo or gmail will not solve the issue.
Please help.

  • My Thunderbird (Mac-v.24.6.0) suddenly won't accept HTML (composition color change) checked under Tools tab.Won't type blue email text.Why?

    Suddenly, for no apparent reason, Thunderbird keeps reverting to black text when I compose emails.
    I've (long ago) changed all the required setting so as to have text of my emails be (HTML) formatted in blue:
    Under Tools/Account Settings/Composition and Addressing - there is a check mark beside
    "Compose Messages in HTML format".
    If I click Global Addresssing Preferences/Composition/General - the text color shows as BLUE
    And when I open a new email window and click the text colour shows as BLUE there, as well (which is what I want)
    But when I go to the new email window and type - the text is black!
    Why is this suddenly occuring...but more to the point - how can I resolve it?
    Would appreciate any helpful insight. Thanks in advance....

    I've now uploaded a screenshot with this post. I hope it will further clarify what I've tried to describe. (Won't know till I've posted it here and can see how the screen shot actually looks online)
    The screenshot image has 3 parts:
    At the top is my Firefox browser - which is only there to cover my actual email address which would otherwise show at the top of the image beneath it in that same screenshot. (So disregard)
    That 2nd image is what opens in Thunderbird when I click on "Write" in the tool bar - in order to compose a new email.
    As (I hope) you can see - the previously configured BLUE composition text setting is showing above the email window - but in a *greyed out* manner.
    Furthermore, as soon as I position my flashing cursor insertion point over to the left and type just one single letter - the greyed out blue rectangle turns jet black!
    That's what the 3rd image in the screen shot, at the bottom, is showing. And the text I subsequently type is BLACK - not BLUE!
    I cannot fathom why this occurs or how to correct.
    Can anyone assist?

    Changing your SIP domain will effect both Lync 2010 and 2013 (it happens at the top level).
    Here is some information on doing this: http://blog.insidelync.com/2013/06/anatomy-of-a-sip-domain-change/
    I'd suggest getting it right prior to adding in your Lync 2013 topology, just for the sake of simplicity.
    Rather than changing your SIP domain, is simply adding an additional SIP domain an option?

  • Changing hyperlink text colors.

    I saw few posts asking about changing hyperlink text colors. And there are many camps regarding this topic. Suzanne Boben would recommend editing template XML . Some would recommend editing published HTML code. Some would recommend editing CSS code.
    But it came down to couple things.
    1) proficient in XML, HTML or CSS
    2) tried different colors, but it did turned out as expected
    One easy way is editing CSS files, this only apply to pages' hyperlink text; if your text got turn to PNGs, read no further .
    iWeb generates a CSS file for the associated HTML page - CSS file is in the Page_files folder.
    Edit the CSS files and keep copies of them, then you won't have to edit them again the next time you publish you sites.
    These CSS files are quite easy to understand, all you have to do is to look for a { , a:visited { and a:hover { .
    They contain RGB (Red Green Blue) values for link color, visited link color and rollover color.
    But what about those #8000FF and #4c4c4c?
    Well, I know they are RGB hexadecimal color values, but I don't what colors they are, so I came up with Argiope (Argiope is a family colorful spiders).
    It's a colors picker application to help with choosing background color, link color and rollover color. It'll give you the exact RGB hexadecimal value of chosen color.
    You can find Argiope here. Enjoy

    It can be done, but I have to do too much works.
    I already have a a script to do that, but it's quite complicated for an average bear.
    http://www.geocities.com/[email protected]/iWeb_utils --> LinksColors.zip
    Does just that, it is flexible, you can configure the colors for individual page, but it is quite different to configure. Look at the colors.txt and page.txt.

  • Alternating text color of excel cell items after each space?

    Hello. I have a script that emails a table of info which works fine and that looks like this:
    name, samaccountname, date, memberof
    In the email table I was able to have it do a line break on each space so that the memberof groups are on on separate lines for easier reading.
    Well I've been wanting to send the data to store in a csv sheet as well. I can get it going in there but for the member of column it puts in memberof1  memberof2  memberof3 etc etc on one line. The CNs OUs etc are all removed and its just the group
    names separated by spaces. Works but a little hard to read.
    I was thinking maybe there was a way to open the excel file for writing and on that one column have it alternate text colors using the space as the delimiter? Everything would be easier to read that way. Is this possible ?
    Thanks

    Thanks. I did look at that and have this so far. Im  just trying to echo it out right now, but Im guessing that somehow in the foreach ($item in $groups) I need to create an array or something? Then Id want to apply one color to each item in the array.
    Ive tried several different combinations and was trying $item.spli(" ") but it always comes back looking the same.
    So right now $item echos like this
    Group1  Group2  Group3  Group4  Group5
    Id just want to alternate each space delimited item one of two colors. Then take those appened colors of each item and write it back to the cell that I read it from in the column so that its easier to read. Is this even possible?
    $objExcel = new-object -comobject excel.application
    $objExcel.Visible = $True
    $ExcelFilesLocation = "c:\"
    $UserWorkBook = $objExcel.Workbooks.Open($ExcelFilesLocation + "groups.csv")
    $UserWorksheet = $UserWorkBook.Worksheets.Item(1)
    $intRow = 2
    Do {
     # Reading the first column of the current row
     $groups = $UserWorksheet.Cells.Item($intRow, 4).Value()
     foreach ($item in $groups)
     $regex = [regex] "\s"
     $split = $regex.split($item)
     Write-Host $split
     # Move to next row
     $intRow++
     While ($UserWorksheet.Cells.Item($intRow,1).Value() -ne $null)

  • Email Message Color

    Hi All,
    How can I send the email with colored  message?.
    Thanks
    John.R

    John,
    I am trying to post you the some code, but some error is coming up on the screen,
    If you could share your mail on SDN, I will mail you the sample code.
    or alternatively, create some sample code in Frontpage or any HTML editor with some colorful messages and copy paste the code in "message" property of send mail action block, and set the content-type for message as text/HTML.

  • How to email text to prepaid phone ?

    Tried to email text to 'phone#'@vtext.com, but is always rejected.
    'phone#' is a prepaid phone, is that a problem ?
    Other possibilities ?
    How to fix ?

    There may be a few different reasons why the "text" is being rejected using the vtext.com email.
    -- Are you using the full 10-digit phone number that includes the area code?  No dashes or spaces, just 10 digits?
    -- Does your email program append your signature, or use any special formatting like colored fonts or a background for example?  You can try sending it using the "plain text"  option on your email to strip out any html.
    -- You may have better luck sending to [email protected]  as that will send as MMS, allowing longer text and images, so if it's being rejected as SMS it may be allowed as MMS.
    -- The person you are sending to may have texts from the internet blocked on their phone.
    There may be other reasons that I haven't thought of, but this may help you figure it out.

  • Email text font size too small.

    When receiving email text from various sources, the size of the text is so small it is almost impossible to read.  I have a 27"iMac running Snow Leopard at 1920x1200 resolution.  How can I adjust my computer so that text is larger and more readable??  Thanks for any helpful suggestions.

    You can set that in Mail > preferences > Fonts & Colors > Message font:
    You can also hit CMD +  or CMD - to alter the size temporarily.

  • Changing Text Color Through Scripting?

    Is it possible to change the color of a text field within a

    Basically using a calc icon I want to display text within a
    display icon and change the text color as well. Ideally I would
    like to use authorware's RGB function to change the text colour.
    Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    No. You have two choices. The first is something like this:
    {varRed}{varBlue}{varGreen}
    the {varRed} text would be red
    {varBlue} would be blue
    {varGreen} would be green.
    Then:
    varRed := "This is some text"
    varBlue := varGreen := ""
    Your text would be red if Update Displayed Variables was
    checked on the
    icon.
    You can also use RTF Objects, which will allow you to set
    font color using
    named colors or hexadecimals.

    How can I change the default text color (black to blue) in Mail on out going email with Mountain Lion

    There really aren't default outgoing font settings. They are only there for viewing. A workaround I have seen mentioned is to start you signature with the font style you want to use. When you start your message, click in that first part of your signature.
    Something like

  • Using eprint to print photos with email text on one page

    I have been using Presto eprint services for several years for my Dad, and I really like how it works and allows me to print the email (from, to, text in the body of the email), plus any attachments, all on one page using full letter size paper  However, my parents would like to get rid of their land-line phone, so I'm looking for options to replace the Presto printer.  I was thinking that HP eprint might be a good option, but based on some initial tests with a friends printer, it seems to just print photos as full page images, without the email content.  Is there anyway to confirgure the HP eprint function to print the email text and photos or PDF file attachment on one page?  Thanks.

    Hello @Joseph_TX ,
    Welcome to the HP forums.
    I understand that you want to know if a way to configure the HP ePrint.
    I would like to help.
    Unfortunately there is no way to reconfigure the ePrint.
    When you send an email to the printers ePrint address, it will print the body of the email and any attachments.
    It will not print the subject line or who the email is from.
    Also the ePrint feature will not resize pictures sent.
    What you send is what you get.
    You can get more control over ePrint with the ePrint app, but I don't believe that will suit your needs.

  • Text Color in disabled text field

    Hi,
    In our application, The default rendered text in disabled fields is not visible properly. In order to improve the visibility we applied different color using content style for those fields.
    We did see the change in the fields after applying content-style. But it is a painful job to apply the content-style for each input field.
    Is there a way to configure default text color in ADF which is applicable for all the disabled fields in the application?
    We also tried the option of setting the color using css in following manner:
    af|inputText::content{color:#333333;}
    But this didn't have any impact on the text color.
    Please let us know if we can achieve this through a single point fix in the code.
    Thanks
    Ravi

    Hi Dimitar,
    The :rtl is a special case, as is :ltr and :alias. These are always placed at the end and are purely for the engine, they do not generate any style class on the DOM whereas other peudo classes generate a p_AF<state> class on the MAIN DOM element, which is why you must place the class on them. For example:
    af|inputText:disabled::content becomes
    In the CSS: af_inputText.p_AFDisabled af_inputText_content
    In the HTML <span class="af_inputText p_AFDisabled"><input class="af_inputText_content">

  • How do I change the text color of footers on select pages? (InDesign CS6)

    Good afternoon,
    Months ago, I worked with a graphic designer to put together a 100-page workbook for my training company. He turned all of the files over to me and I'd like to make a small change before we print another run for a new client. Specifically, I'm having trouble changing the text color on select pages. Since a picture says 1,000 words, let me give you an example:
    As you can see, the copyright information on the right side of the page is difficult to read here when placed over the photo (you may have to look closely, but it's along the guy's sleeve). What I'd love to do is change that part of the footer (not the left, page number side) to white text. This would make it quite a bit easier to read. There's a number of other pages in the book that I want to make this change to. I'm not sure why I never noticed it or mentioned it to the designer. I suppose I've become more discerning since then.
    Let me tell you what I've tried to do:
    I learned how to override master pages by CTRL+SHIFT clicking on the footer. However, this has not worked for me. It allows me to change the page number part, but not the copyright side. Additionally, sometimes when I override the master the formatting of the footer goes goofy. For instance, the left side and right side come together and end up in the middle of the page I'm working on.
    I'm looking for a quick way to go through and make the footers easier to read on pages where they are backed by a photo. Hoping you can help me. Please let me know if you need any other information.
    Best,
    Taylor

    I think you should have left it as it was. It seems like what you had was single pages flowing as spreads within InDesign. Like below. That is the correct way, and when you changed it to all single, it did create your footer problems.
    Will you be sending the file as a PDF to your online printer? If so, then leaving the InDesign file set as below is fine. The PDF output will separate the pages.
    All you have to do is make sure that Pages, not Spreads, is chosen when you output the PDF
