Iphone has some bugs(Part 1)

Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Keep the lock screen wallpaper and the home screen wallpaper different,
2. Swipe right to unlock and swipe to the left immediately after you reach the right-end. Watch video for more reference.

Hmm, I have different wallpapers (one of my photo's for my lock screen and and just plain black for my home screen) and mine still does not do that.
Try setting them both to something different, but simple - say different colors of one of the default screens. Or just try one any pair of the default screens instead of your own custom pictures. Does it still do it? I cannot seem to get my iPhone to duplicate that no matter what I try with it.
You can submit the info to Apple at http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html but try and give them as much details as you can, of anything you have tried that either does not change the abnormal behaviour or that does fix it.

I am running Windows8.1 Single Language with windows activated. Upgraded from Window 8 to Windows 8.1.

First of all, please run the command slmgr.vbs /dlv
After that, check the License status if it is licensed.
Is there any error message when you couldn't change lock background or this option just grey out?

As you said,your system was activated.
So,I think this problem occurs when a required Registry key is missing in Windows 8. It might be deleted accidentally or intentionally by the user or it might be deleted by a 3rd party software.

Cannot change lock screen pin or to swipe

Hi,
I've just installed an app for my company wifi which requires the phone to have a lock screen. I chose a swipe pattern initially. After installation I wanted to change the pattern but the phone keeps asking me to enter the initial swipe pattern repeatedly. It recognizes the correct pattern but keeps asking me for the pattern for some reason.
I used the Android device manager to change it to a pin number and now Im stuck with a pin number only, ie I cannot change it to swipe. I also cannot disable the screen lock as well.
Please help. My phone is a Lenovo S90

I think I know what is the issue here. Whenever I setup the MS Exchange on my phone, there is a need to use PIN (6 characters) as a security. Swipe is no longer an option.
This is the same for all Android phones as this is a security feature setup by your company's Exchange server and in order for your mails to go into your phone there is a need to setup PIN (6 characters min or text).

[SOLVED] gnome-screensaver bug? unintended lock screen behaviour

Everytime I close my laptop lid, the screen locks. I am fine with this EXCEPT when I am using two screens. I watch movies with my laptop and I like to close the lid because it blocks my reciever from getting the signal from my remote to change the volume. With gnome 3.4, I have not been able to do this unless I disable lock screen completely.

As you can see in the middle of this code block that closing the lid is supposed to do nothing but that is not the case. What I want is for the screen to lock when I close my laptop lid only if there is one screen or not at all. I could disable the lock screen completely through gsettings but that is not what I want either. Any help would be much appreciated and no I do not want to use xscreensaver

Edit: Found a way to fix this. Go into brightness and screen, then change lock off when screen turns blank. So basically, changing laptop lid close in gnome tweak tool or in gsettings to nothing doesn't matter since in the brightness and lock, the setting is to lock screen whenever it is turned off and obviously the screen is turned off since closing the lid does on just about every laptop. Marking as solved.

IOS7 Notifications not showing in the lock screen

Hello,
During the day, my notifications in the lock screen show up without a problem. The problem is that for long periods of time, notifications do not show up in the lock screen. When I wake up in the morning to check the lockscreen, notifications do no show up at all. I can acess them in the control center, but they still won't show up in the lock screen.
I have selected my notifications to show up as banners and to show up in the lock screen. I do not have do not disturb activated.
Has anyone had a similar problem? I currently have iOS 7.0.3

Show on lockscreen is checked on the notification for the app i want it to show
Some apps show, some apps only show when i drop down the Notification Center in lockscreen
mail, whatsapp, missed calls, show in lockscreen
other than that...they show only in notification center...

IOS7 - After taking a photo the lock screen zooms in and I can not enter my password. Does anyone know why?

Everytime I take a photo on my phone either when it is locked or not, when I come back to my phone to use it next the lock screen has zoomed in and I can not enter my password. I have to either switch the phone off or keep playing with the side button. Its only happened since iOS7 has been installed. Can anyone help?

On the Home screen, double-tap with three fingers to exit zoom.
Then go to Settings > General > Accessibility and make sure Zoom is turned Off.

Change Lock Screen in Nokia X3-02

Hey there, is it possible to change the locking screen of nokia X3-02? it is really annoying! i heard that by changing to some themes it also changes the locking screen, but i like the default theme i just wanted to change the horrible locking screen!

It should help you. By default, the standard theme is loaded. But you just need to change
one picture (ie the lockscreen), and export the whole thing in nth.file.
Then, just transfer the file in your cellphone, and it should work. At least, it did for me.

IPhone 4S upgraded to ios7 freezes after random resume from lock screen

Very often, after resuming from the lock screen, my iPhone 4s displays zoomed in interface, completely unable to acess anything.
Sometimes the screen is filled with 3 or four APP icons.
Other times the screen locks where .............
I can't swipe to shut the phone off or enter lock screen password.
This started happened when I upgraded to ios7.
I currently have version 7.0.4
You guys need to fix this. It was the reason I bought iPhone in the first place.

Cannot change lock screen wallpaper after 4.4.2 update to Xperia Z1

So I updated via PCC to 4.4.2 (14.3.A.0.681) and now the lock screen wallpaper is stuck to the "Air" theme wallpaper. Regardless of theme change or attempting to select custom wallapaper, the lock screen wallpaper does not change. I've tried going through the settings menu, the Album app, and the Photos app, but none of them can change the wallpaper. I've tried clearing all data from the lock screen app, force-stopping it, but no luck. Multiple restarts do not help.

Changing lock screen?

I know this can be done because many people have shown their custom lock screens, but how do you do it? I know where to find the images in settings, but how do you get new images in that directory?

You can change the wallpaper from Settings>Wallpaper.
If you only see the default Wallpaper options, sync photos to the iPod touch, save photos, or take a screen shot.
The iPod touch User Guide will walk you through syncing photos and saving photos.

My sons ipad2 has just frozen on the lock screen.

Please help! My sons ipad2 has kind of frozen on the lock screen. If I press the slide to unlock a white box appears around it and a voice says unlock but nothing happens. Also if I press the time it will say the time and show the white box but again nothing happens. I have tried to reset it multiple time with no joy.
I have also connected it to iTunes to restore it but it say that I have to turn off the find my ipad app, which of course I can't as I can't get past the lock screen and I have also tried to update it, however as my son has only a limited amount of space it won't let me do that either. I hope someone can help and thank you in advance for trying.

I eventually came across an article about ipad recovery mode and on the second attempt was able to restore the ipad to factory settings which obviously bypasses the 'where my ipad' feature. So, for now it's fixed :-) thanks again and I hope you have a great new year.

IOS 7 change lock screen language

My kid changed her keyboard language to French, set her pass code, and then set it back to English (I have no idea why). Now she can't enter her passcode on the lock screen because she used french special characters in it. Does anyone know how to change the lock screen language in iOS 7 at the lock screen itself? Any and all help is appreciated.

If you can, back up or copy all your phones photos, files etc. to your computer. Then use iTunes on your computer to Restore the software on your phone. Here's a link to describe that:

An unknown picture has appeared on my ipad2 lock screen and I can't remove it in wallpaper settings

An unknown picture not on my photo roll has appeared on my lock screen and I can't get rid of it in wallpaper settings.

By chance my ipad ran out of charge, and when I charged it the offending picture had disappeared so it is now ok.
Does anyone have an idea how this happened in the first place as I am concerned how it got on my ipad.
