IOS7 iPad mini Stage3D performance issue.

My friend tell me that he testing own game on iOS6 with Starling and game shows 60FPS. After upgrading iPad mini to iOS7 - he saw 25-30fps.
After updating Adobe Air to latest one Air 3.9.0.880 - FPS grow up to 40FPS. But not to 60FPS as was before he setup iOS 7. So there some issues with iOS7 and iPad mini on Adobe Air.
Someone have similar problems?

IPad mini backup/passcode issue

My iPad mini has stopped working by simply refusing to start. Pressing the power button result in the apple logo showing but nothing else happens. I've been to the Apple store here in Sweden but haven't gotten any good help or advise other than restoring the device. Now, the problem is I have no backup on the data and the iPad contains a lot of very important files and info regarding business and also private life. When connecting the iPad to my computer I can see the devise in iTunes and also access the option for backup, recovery etc.
iPad runs latest version of iOS7 and PC is used.
The problem is I cannot backup my iPad without entering my passcode on the device which won't start.

I just installed IOS 8.1.2 on my IPAD mini and it has used up about 6GB of memory! Anybody else had this issue? How idea as to how to resolve this?

Thanks for providing more information on the issue you're having with the iPad. Since you're seeing a lot of space being taken up in "Other" usage, please follow the steps outlined below.
Turn off the music or photo sync option in iTunes for the device.
Click Apply to sync the changes to the device.
Turn the music and photo sync options for the device on again.
Click Apply again to try to sync the device to iTunes. If you see the "Not enough free space" alert, continue to step 5.
Turn off the automatic syncing functions for the iOS device:
Select the iOS device from the iTunes window and click the Summary tab.
Deselect "Automatically sync when this device is connected" and select the "Sync only checked songs and videos" checkbox.
Click Apply to sync the changes to the device.
Reduce the amount of data that is being synced to the device and resync the device. For example, if syncing your Music library exceeds the memory capacity of the device, choose "Selected playlists" to transfer rather than "All songs and playlists" under the Music tab in iTunes. If you see the "Not enough free space" alert, continue to step 6.
Restore using iTunes.
If you get a "Not enough free space" alert on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

IPad mini lte safari issues

My iPad mini lte has an issue with safari. I cannot view any websites other than google through the search area. I tried closing, clearing cache, history and even reset. Nothing seem to work. Any help would be appreciated

I think I understand more clearly now.
You said that you reset - do you mean that you held the sleep and home buttons down at the same time until the Apple logo appeared and that didn't work?
Start all over again. Clear Safari, close the app completely and then reboot the iPad.
Settings>Safari>Clear History, cookies and data.
Tap the home button to go to the home screen, double tap the home button to bring up the recent apps at the bottom. Tap and hold down on the Safari icon until it wiggles. Tap the red minus sign on the icon to close it. Tap the home button.
Reboot the iPad. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen.
After the iPad fully restarts, try Safari again.

New Ipad mini installing app issues

I have purchased a new iPad mini today. I have spent the last few hours getting annoyed as to why I can't install any apps on it. This ipad is for my wife. I already have an iPad 2 and have never had issue with it. Everything else seems fine, network connection is good, we did manage to download iBooks and after that every app I tried to install (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter etc) the little circle would come up for a few seconds and then go back to the 'free' button. I have reset the ipad and I have double checked account settings. There are no restrictions on. I have downloaded iOS 7 (did that before we even started downloading anything). Just can't figure it out. Can anyone help??

Ok ... I sorted it out.
I think it was because the machine had ios6 on and updated to iOS 7 as soon as it was turned on literally after set up. I just did a hard reset (deleted all data etc) and set it up again with iOS 7 from start up. Works fine now.
I suppose others might get this problem if they buy a new ipad mini with iOS 6 on it. Just do what I did (eventually, not the whole 2 hour head scratching and teeth grinding) and it should work. Reset the machine by erasing all data.

IPad Mini and Exchange Issues Using Google 2-step Verification

I cannot get my gmail email, contacts, or calendar to sync with my iPad Mini, and nothing seems to work. I've set it up with Microsoft exchange using all the proper settings of m.google.com and the app specific password from my account, but to no avail. I've tried regenerating various app specific passwords, nothing worked. I've tried updating to the latest software, but still didn't work. I've even tried wiping my iPad to restore its factory settings, but no luck at all. Any other ideas out there?

Ipad mini onboard keyboard issue

I have just updated my ipad mini with the new ios software and it has caused may ipads onboard keyboard to run very slowly does anyone no how to fix this issue

Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.
Or if this doesn't work and nobody else on the blog doesn't have a better idea you can contact Apple.

I am having issues with my iPad mini. My issue is sometimes my apps will open up without me touching them

Hello everyone. I really need some help with my iPad mini. Lately it has been acting like it has a mind of its own, I could be reading a book in iBooks and the pages will start flipping on its own. At times it will not allow me to post messages, as well as some of my apps, mainly my puzzle app will open up without me touching it. I really don't not know what is wrong with it. Reset the iPad and see if that helps. Close all apps first.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button twice.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that doesn't work, you should probably restore the iOS software. Instructions are in this kb article.

If that fails, you are pretty much out of options and you should take your iPad to an Apple Store. They might be able to use their magic to restore the device for you, or if it is a hardware problem they will explain your options to you at that point.

Ipad mini Disabled reset issue

Hi Guys,
My Nieces Ipad mini is disabled,
When i follow all instructions to Restore, during extracting software 3/4 way through it gives the Locked error on the Ipad mini.
I have removed Itunes from the Pc and ReInstalled also.........
This is killing my Brain!!

My daughter had to get a new iPad mini because her battery went out. Now when she tries to face time with the new mini it says "unable to verify email because already in use". Any suggestions on how to correct without having to create. New email address? I'm a novice Apple user. Ios7 ipad mini coverflow replacement

Hi, various sites discussing ios7 show a replacement for cover flow where, when in music and landscape mode, a grid of album covers show. Doesn't do this on my iPad so is it just on iPhone?

Your wallpaper? Yes, it's a bug. If you go into the photos app and choose your photo then send it to be wallpaper you do have a bit more control although not as much as you used to have.
No idea when or if Apple will fix it.

Adobe Air 3.2 (ios ipad first gen) performance issues

Hi guys, I've been working for a while with Starling framework on mobile, it works really good in all platforms except ipad1, I am afraid I won't be able to carry on working with it if I can't manage to make it run properly on ipad1, unfortunatelly ipad1 is still so important, there are still lots of users using ipad1. I might have to go back to cpu mode on ipad1.
it is really sad, i am soooooo happy with air 3.2 (Starling framework) running on different androids, iphone 4s and ipad2, it runs at solid 60 fps, no delays, so smooth.. problem is when I try exactly the same .IPA on ipad1, god! it is really bad, about 5 times slower, it runs even worse than Amazon Kindle Fire how come!?
any ideas? has anyone dealt with similar problems on ipad1?

Starling is a great framework. It has fallbacks. Chances are you're either trying to do too much at once with too high of an expectation of ipad1, or you're falling back to CPU blitting.
I struggle greatly with ipad1 with CPU blitting myself. But lets not compare in an unfair way. iPad1 comes with a single A4 processor. iPad2 comes with more memory and dual core A5 processors. Wednesday they may be debuting iPad3 with who knows what, dual/quad a5x? Dual/quad A6? They're going to need a good performance bump (CPU, GPU (mostly)) if they plan on rolling out retina.
The performance of CPU blitting between ipad1 and 2 is night and day. It's almost silky smooth on ipad2 but it's border line acceptible on ipad1.
The GPU is a PowerVR SGX 543MP2 on the ipad2 which Apple claimed was 9x faster. Is it any shock it's doing better with Starling or Stage3D?
I'm in your boat in desiring to put ipad1 to bed. I hope ipad3 will open the door for that pretty soon. But bottom line, if you really want ipad1, you're going to need a fallback. Starling has that, but if you do 'too much at once', ipad1 will surely die. Perhaps how much you do at once needs a code branch specifically for ipad1 to assule you don't do too much.
