Ios7 missing apps/icons

updated my wifes 4s with ios7 and now the camera app as well as others are missing. other apps (pinterest, etc) were updated and will open from the app store but no icon exists....help!

The built in camera app can't be deleted.
check other app(s) folder or home screen.
double check restrictions.
If those fail - settings - general - reset - reset home screen layout.
all 3rd party apps should be in itunes - sync the phone to itunes to redownload apps.

If you've found them in Spotlight, where are they? (hover over the app you found in the Spotlight list to see its path in a tooltip, or click Show All, then hover over the name of the app and see the path at the bottom of the window).
Once you open that location in the Finder, you should be able to drag them back to the Applications folder.

I am missing an app icon on my iphone screen. how can i get it back? it says that the app is already downloaded, but the icon is gone.

On your iPhone go to the search page (slide the home page to the right) and search for the app's name. Note that the name you're searching for should be the name under the icon - official app names are often a longer version. If the search finds it, it's somewhere on the hone, possibly inside a folder.
If the search does not find it, it's not marked for sync with this iPhone. Check the selection box in iTunes and re-sync. Note, however, that if the app is not compatible with your particular phone, it will not be synced.

Missing App Icons??

Okay..So I downloaded 2 apps to my iPod Touch 3rd generation.
I have a lot of apps..I have 11 little dots on the bottom. I'm not sure what you would call them, lol but it's the dots when you scroll from menu to menu through your apps.
Anyways..I downloaded the 2 apps and noticed that the icons did not show up. Nor was a new page made. My 11th page of apps was completely full..
Yet I figured it would just make a 12th page with the new apps I just downloaded. But it didn't...it won't let me scroll past the 11th page.
Yet when I search through my iPod, the apps are there and downloaded. They work just fine. But the icons aren't anywhere to be found. I have to actually search for the app, and touch it for it to start up.
Is there a page limit or something?? Why won't the ipod create a new page so the icons will show up?

There is a limit of 11. But don't forget you can create folders for your apps to organize them. That will give you ez access to many more apps. The use of folders increases the number of applications that can be accessed from the home screen from 180 to 2,160! What model iPod and iOS do yu have? I suspect that you have a 1G iPod and you need to update the iOS to use the App store. You can purchase the latest iOS here. The 1G can only go to 3.1.3.

If that is not your prom:
- Have you used the Spotlight search feature to look for the app? Maybe you can't find it.
- You have restrictions set that hide the App store. Check Settings>General>Restrictions

1. Visit Instagram.com from your computer web browser

4. Highlight and sync the app to your iPhone (note: it will not show up on your phone, even after it says syncing is complete).
5. In iTunes, select the Instagram icon and click "Remove" or "Uninstall"
6. Click Accept and Uninstall when it asks you to confirm as it will remove instagram and its data from your iPhone
7. Disconnect the phone from the computer
8. Manually reboot the phone after exiting all apps
9. Upon re-start, you will be able to access the app in the App Store, and install it

- Are the apps missing or are the icons white?
- If missing have yu tried using the Spotlight search and trying to find them?
- Have you tried downloading them on your iPad and then syncing?
- Have you tried deleting them on the computer and then syncing? That might also delete them from the iPad so you can redownal them
- Have you tried reetting the iPad?

Find which screen, folder it was moved to, and hold down the icon until the icons start shaking. Then drag it to the left or right edge of the screen, and it will allow you to move it to which ever screen you want it. When you have it there, tap the Home button to stop the icons form shaking.
Or do what hannahsage said above.

Updated to IOS 5 and app icons are missing

I upgraded last night and now some of my app icons are missing. If I do a spotlight search and find the app I can then launch the app from there but I would like to have the icon back to use rather than a workaround.

After the IOIS 5.0 update my apps weren't showing on my device until I tabbed thru several screens on the phone. The only other issue was when I did a "restore" to new , not from backup because I was issues with the update (Bugs) Did a update and my apps didn't show until I did a " File" ................Transfer Purchases from Iphone.....with the device connected to ITunes...........then Sync................
