IOS7: notification center, nothing in Today tab

I don't see weather, stocks or anything but date and time in Today tab of Notification Center.

So is that like in the 90's in American?

  • No calendar alerts showing in ios7 notification center

First, want to say this is different than the several threads stating that all day events are not showing. I have no calendar alerts at all in the all or missed tabs. I do see events for today in the today tab , but that's it. I have it set to show the alerts in both notification and lock screen, but it doesn't work. This is true on a 5s, a 4s and my ipad 4. I do run fantastical (also set to show up in the notification center) on the 5s and 4s, but obviously not on the ipad.  Based on what others have said, this seems to be somewhat unique to me. Any ideas?  I've already tried toggling on and off and restarting the phone.

Try going to settings - notification center - and turn on Daily calendar view

  • How do i get all day events to show up in iOS7 notification center?

    Hi,
How can I get events designated as "All Day" in Calendar to show up in my notification center on iOS7? I'm using an iphone 5 and all other features seem to be working. Thanks much.

  • Ios7 Notification Center font size

Hi, i have just changed to the ios7 software update for my iphone but i realised that the notifications i have been getting on the notification center is really huge!
is there anyway we can reduce the font size for the notification center?
    Thanks lots!

    Hi anil,
thanks for the prompt reply. However, the text size does not affect the size of the texts in the notification center. It seems like they are independent of each other.
Are there any other ways to solve this? or is this an intrinsic software issue?
    Thanks lots!
    Cheers!

  • IOS7 notification center text size?

Is there a way to decrease the size of the notification center text? It looks very huge to me compared to the previous software version. I have tried the text size in settings but that is for apps. No change in notification center text. Would love to see apple work around this if possible. Please let me know if there is a way out for decreasing the size?

  • Notification center - Click to post tabs do nothing

After upgrading to 10.8.2, backing it up and performing a clean install today straight to 10.8.2 and restoring my stuff the click to post buttons are not doing anything.

I'm experiencing the same issue as well...

  • No weather in my IOS7 notification center.

Can anyone help me with this. I have an Iphone 4.
    Thanks

Hold down your home button and then the lock button for about 10 seconds and release once you see the white 'Apple' logo on the screen.  This will reset your phone (but you will not lose anything).

  • How do I get the weather widget to show only today in the notification center?

When I purchased my iPhone 4S, the notification center listed today's weather at my location. Several weeks ago it some how switched to showing the weekly forecast. What do I need to do to make the notification center show only today's weather? I have checked settings and can find nothing that controls this feature. My roommate bought his iPhone 4S at the same time I did, and his still shows only today's weather.
    Thanks

    I have the same problem!
I have today's summary on in notification center but get no weather info at all in the notification center. I have the location turned on for weather as well.
I have tried a reboot to no avail.

  • Repost: Where is the Weather widget in the iOS 7 Notification Center?

I will award ten points to a verified "no" or "yes" with a brief explanation how to enable.
I understand it is not a full widget, but that's what Apple used to call it in iOS 5 and 6. Anyway, let me give more information. I cleared all of my notifications. This means that the All and Missed tabs are completely empty. Swiping to the left and right just brings me to these empty menus. I have everything turned on except for Stocks in the Notification Center. My "Today" view consists of Today Summary, Calendar Day View, and the Tommorow Summary tab at the very bottom. There is no mention at all about Weather at all in Settings>Notification Center, which leads me to think Apple just dumped this feature. Can anyone verify this?

The Weather is still there.  Make sure the Weather App is allowed access to Location services.
    Settings->Prvacy->Location Services->Weather.
Then Open the weather App to generate the Weather for your current location and it should appear in the Today tab under the date.
Its a Text Blurb now with no images.

  • In iOS 7, how do you clear the "Missed" section of the Notification Center?

The "Missed" seciton doesn't have the Clear button like the "Recent" seciton does, and I can't seem to get rid of the missed calls in that list. I even went as far as to erase all my missed and recent phone calls in the Phone list, but the notification center won't clear out.

I've been trying to grok the new notification center on ios7 with Apple so notoriously light with the documentation so here goes:
    - missed notifications (the rightmost tab in ios7 notification center) collates all of your notifications that you got when the phone was locked (the ones you get on the lock screen only) so that you dont have to worry about unlocking the phone and losing those.
    - they sorted in reverse chronological order from newest to oldest
    - 'missed' only covers the last 24 hours so the oldest notification you will see is 24 hours old. this is seemingly by design and i guess its logical to assume people will check their phone once every 24 hours.

  • How do you disable the Notification Center in iOS 8?

How do you disable the Notification Center in iOS 8?  It seems the update has killed this ability.

Are you in the "today" or "notifications" part of notification center?
Settings--notifications works for the notifications part but doesn't control the today part of notification center. For that you have to drag down notification center, tap on today, and choose edit from the bottom. From there you can turn off widgets, activate new ones, and change the display order.

  • Not getting the weather, stock, calendar widget in the Notification Center, Today's tab in iOS 7

Can't see any options under Today View in settings for Notification center.

Rebooted and it all came in !

  • I cannot customize the today view in the notification center of my iphone 4s. Please help

Hi. I just upgraded to the ios7 and the first thing that challenges me is the empty today view of my notification center. I went to settings, notification center, today view but i cannot see any options. It is completely blank. What do i do?

Sorry guys. I saw similar questions now and simply followed the option of pressing the power and home button to do a reset and it worked. Even though i didn't get an answer i still found the answer from within the forum. So thanks a million guys. Keep up the great work.

  • How do I get my missed call notification to show in the notification center? Everything is turned on but nothing shows up.

I previously posted a question about not being able to see any of my missed calls in the notification center. I have the iPhone 4S running on 6.1.1. The notifications previously stopped working but somehow the calls started to show up. (I can't remember what I did to make them show up). However, after I went to General>Reset>Reset All Settings , the missed call notifications disappeared again. I have tried turning everything on and it still does not work. My settings are Phone> Show 10 Recent Items> Banners > Badge Icon On> View In Lockscreen On. I have also tried to set it as alerts but nothing happens. The only way I can view my missed calls is on the lock screen and in the recents tab in the phone app. They do not show up in the notification center at all. Can someone please help me?
