IOS7 setup: Can't enter PIN code

I had a black-screen issue with my iPhone 4s, and had to reset it. After the reset was done, I got my phone to start up the setup-process (just like when you geet a brand new phone), but i accidently hit the pass button once the "enter SIM"-dialogue popped up. Now I can't enter the SIM's PIN code anywhere, and my phone is useless. I can't enter it on the phone, nor iTunes. What can I do?
I already tried the following:
Restarting the phone
Forcing restart by holding the 2 buttons
Restarting the process
Calling a number (I can't because the sim is not unlocked)
Ejecting the sim card
Connecting to iTunes (on 2 seperate computers)
Any ideas?

These are your choices: 1. Get a new sim, without a sim pin; 2. Remove your sim, insert in another phone & remove the sim pin, then re-insert in your phone.

This morning my Z1 Compact wanted me to enter the PIN code: I did so but the only thing that happened was that the text "Enter PIN code" disappeared. But I was still at the same page. It seems to have stuck or freezed. Tried to remove and reset the SIM card, called the operator who says there´s nothing wrong with the SIM card. tried to force restart with and without the SIM card. I can't get pass that starting page.
The funny thing is that on the "mssage board" or whatever it is called at the top of the phone is updating when I got a message, mail, updates etc. But I can not scroll down and see them in detail.

Fully switch off your phone and make sure it is disconnected from your Pc then start PC Compannion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue select Repair my phone /tablet and follow the onscreen instructions and when prompted making sure your phone is still switched off hold Volume down and connect your USB cable which should enter your phone into flashmode and start the repair process

my i phone screen is broken and i can not enter my code but i need to sync my phone from my husbands computer so that i can save all my info before getting a new phone. is there a way i can enter or disable my password code so that i can sync my phone? if not is there any other way to sync my broken phone so that i dont loose everything?

i do sync it usualy but im on vacation, so i guess i may just loose those pics. one more question, can i have my screen repaired and then get the info off or is it to broken? the screen is cracked and has green and black stripes all over it.

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I gather that you are unable to get to the HP Connected or HP ePrintCenter web site to enter the printer’s claim code.
HP Connected has only been rolled out to the USA, the UK, France and Germany. The link will use your computer to reflect your country and language settings, so if you live outside of the countries that have HP Connected you will get a server error message. If you live outside those countries, please try going to HP’s ePrintCenter web page. The link is https://www.eprintcenter.com.
You can reprint the web services information sheet with the claim code to reactivate it for another 24 hours. If you are unsure how to do this, I’ve included the Getting the Printer Claim Code document for reference.
If I have misunderstood, please let me know. In the next post, please also include the following information:
What make/model/product number of HP printer do you have? How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
How is the printer connected (USB cable, ethernet, or wireless)?

6131 - Keypad inoperative, cannot enter PIN code

After stopping an alarm on my 6131 I noticed a couple of minutes later that there was a flashing alarm indication on the screen. I tried to clear this alarm with the keypad but the keypad was frozen. I turned off the phone and on turning it back on the keypad is inoperative and I cannot enter the PIN code.
Any help appreciated.

Acrobat crashed - can't enter Javascript code anymore!

I just had Acrobat (8.1.2) crash on me while I was working on the Javascript code I had in the file. When I opened the file after the crash, the javascript code was empty - everything had been obliterated in the code module. And even when I enter new code and close the editor, when I try to open it again, it's empty again.
I have Acrobat set to use an external app (I am using TextWrangler on a mac), so I don't know if that has any bearing on what happened, but the file now seems to be corrupted as any code I enter whether in an external app, or in the Acrobat javascript editor does not get saved. I tested the file on another computer, with the same results. Other files work properly on my computer.
Is there any way to recover the code from the file? I had spent several hours on several parts of the code, and am not looking forward to having to recreate my work.

N8 - Can't enter security code when trying to unlo...

I can enter my PIN and security code just fine when I turn on the phone and when changing settings. But, when my phone is locked and I have to type security code in to unlock the phone, I can press buttons just fine, complete with haptic feedback and all, but nothing is actually entered into the security code field, rendering my phone useless even for emergency calls until I reboot it.
However, if I disable security code check when unlocking the phone (which means I don't have to enter the security code to unlock the phone), the home screen freezes when I unlock the phone. The screen changes the orientation correctly and I can use the hardware button to call up the task manager, but I cannot press any widgets or buttons on the home screen. If I press the hardware button, the menu won't appear, but I can still use the task manager to open up the menu to select applications and such. At this point the phone unfortunately pretty much craps up. The interface glitches out and the phone becomes unusable until rebooted.
This has actually happened before. The firmware had somehow managed to "downgrade" itself to an older version, so I managed to fix the problem by updating to the newest firmware again. It seems the same trick is not usable this time. The firmware version I have installed is 025.007.

I've managed to fix the problem.
I tried downloading an app from Nokia Store. The app happened to be a Qt application, which requested me to download and install one item with the actual application. After I installed the application the problem was fixed, although I doubt that was the reason it was fixed.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Can't enter activation code

I'm trying to activate my copy of Dreamweaver on my new i7 Snow Leopard mac laptop. Curiously, I'm not allowed to type letters in the activation code boxes... numbers only. I'm wondering of Dreamweaver CS3 is SL compatible. Any thoughts? Thanks so much.

well then, I can't activate it as part of the production suite. Thank you for that clarification. Now. I wonder why the activation code boxes won't allow letters to be typed. I hear an error sound with every letter, but numbers go in there just fine. Bob, I have the serial numbers and the activation code. I've been running the app for over a year just fine on my desktop. I've loaded it up on my new laptop, de-activated my desktop (now in another state) and am trying to activate the application on my laptop. Can i enter php code into html snippets?

I am an sql/php newbie ... and have my site hosted by a company which offers me sql and php hosting (unlike dotmac I understand) ...
I have created an sql database on their server and have written a page in html/php to display the results of a simple search ... can I insert this into iweb page using snippet - as I have tried and get a page cannot be displayed message where the snippet box would be on the webpage. (you can see this by clicking on the guestbook link on www.antandcleopuss.com)
I am wondering if iweb can insert php or if it is only html?
If iweb doesn't like php inserts then I will have to export my pages to a folder, then open them in a text editor to insert the php there?? (seems like an awfully long way round)

You can add PHP code AFTER publishing the webpage.
Then change the extension to .php.
Here's a page the explains how to do it. It's not PHP specific but the routine is the same.

I suggest try getting it back to your stock iOS and forget about jailbreaking.

When you blocked your mini via Find My iPhone, the only way to get it up again is to enter the code. If you don't have the code, then reisntall OSX as a new machine and later restore from your Time Machine backup. Without the backup, you can only start from scratch with a fresh install of OSX. You'll lose all your personal files though.
