IOS7 upgrade failure. Help needed!

Hi,
I've been trying to upgrade to iOS7 for my 4 and after repeated attempts both over iTunes and over wifi all have failed, all citing a corrupted download file. I have been able to sucessfully upgrade my wife's phone which is a 5 so I am not at all sure what the issue might be.
Can anyone assist?

Try disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall.
- Next try the manual install method of:
iDevice Troubleshooting 101 :: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch
- Then try on another computer

HT3180 Apple TV 2 IOS7 upgrade failure

I have tried to upgrade to IOS7, and it has failed!
I am being asked to connect the Apple TV to my Mac using a hdmi to USB cable is there any way I can fix this without the cable as I do not own one?
I have tried a restart but no luck and I have no Plan B.
Anyone able to help?

No, the cable is required if it's bricked.
Either see if you can buy or get a cable from a friend, or maybe take it to an Apple store if you have one nearby.

Harddrive Upgrade - Please Help needs to be done ASAP

I have the MC375LL/A 13.3/2.66/4GB/320 Macbook Pro which I purchased November 2010. The hard drive only has about 30gb of space left because I have lots of photos, movies & music. I am looking to upgrade my hard drive to a WD Scorpio 1 TB Internal Hard drive 5400 RPM (UPC: 718037753119 or Model WDBABC0010BNC-NRSN). Is this hard drive okay to use in my Macbook Pro? Will it work with apple energy conservation software & it’s motion detection software? Is there another hard drive that I should be looking at aside from the one list? Please Help.

Oracle 8i connectivity with JDK1.4.2 - Failure - Help Needed

I'm new to Java-ORACLE connectivity.
I have installed Oracle 8i v8.1.5 in my Windows 2K Adv. Server with JDK1.4.2.
But I could connect to Oracle from Java neither thru JDBC-ODBC nor JDBC thin drivers.
What are the files ( or classes ) needed for connectivity and where can I download them.
Do the Oracle8i 8.1.7 JDBC drivers have backward compatibility with Oracle8i 8.1.5 ?
Please help me in this regard with utmost information possible and sample code.

It just gave an error message : [Microsoft ODBC for Oracle]
and
when I tried the command at DOS prompt,
javap oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
it gave message ERROR: javap oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver could not be found

Upgrading Pages help needed ASAP

I have a store bought version of Pages for my Mac which is currently version 4.3. I need the latest version to open a document I edited on Pages for ipad. Since I didn't purchase Pages through the app store how can i upgrade it?

I would call Apple and explain that you already have the iWork '09 DVD, and want the free upgrade to Pages v5.2. You must have OS X Mavericks (10.9+) on your Mac as a precondition to downloading Pages v5.2. It will move your v4.3 Pages into /Applications/iWork '09 (if not already there) where it remains fully functional.
Based on what is known after 9 months of v5 use; never has free been so expensive, as v5 has about 100+ features/functionality absent that are in v4.3. Apple is positively lethargic about improvements. Support for Pages ’08, RTF, and AppleWorks documents has been dropped. No automatic capitalization of sentences… ad nauseum.
For the critical path, why not launch Pages (v2.2.1) on your iPad. Select the sharing icon above the array of documents. Choose Send a Copy. Select the document you want to open in Pages ’09 v4.3. Click Mail. Choose Word. After the document is converted, an e-mail prompt appears with the Word .docx attached. Send it, open it in Mail on OS X, and open again with Pages ‘09 v4.3. This is the non-elegant, critical path approach to continued use of v4.3 with IOS Pages v2.2.1.

Macbook pro, windows 7 upgrade version, help needed

I'm trying to install windows 7 parallel onto my newly purchaced macbook pro (my 1st Apple). Problem is that I only have original full xp and original win 7 upgrade version. With no os on boot camp partition upgrading does not work "invalid product key". Trying to install xp with the help of boot camp assistant leads to xp intallation service hanging up "inspecting equipment..." No installation start taking place.
Any advice?

Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10 to 11.5.10.2 upgrade - DBA HELP NEEDED

I hope someone can help me.....I've spent days so far but getting the same issues!
I am trying to setup an E-Business Suite 11i VISION instance to use for some user training.
I have managed to setup and get running 11.5.10 on SUSE 9 and have no problems running this.
However, I am trying to update this to 11.5.10.2 by applying the Cumulative Update (CU2) patch (u3460000.drv).
I have followed all of the pre-requisite steps in Metalink note (316366.1) and applied patches 4318672, 4229931 and 4297568 as per instructions.
All Autoconfig results as part of this returned an [ALL PASS] status and I was then able to proceed.
I then used AutoPatch to apply u3460000.drv, however at a certain point the script displays:
FAILED: file LoadMap.class on worker 1 for product ecx username ECX.
FAILED: file LoadMap.class on worker 2 for product ecx username ECX
ATTENTION: All workers either have failed or are waiting:
FAILED: file LoadMap.class on worker 1.
FAILED: file LoadMap.class on worker 2.
I've checked the worker logs, adwork001.log, adwork002.lo, and can see they are showing an error:
Message: No ECX_VERSION stored in database.
SQLState: null
ErrorCode: 0
I have copied the last few lines from the adwork log file and also adpatch log file to the bottom of this thread.
I have tried using adctrl to restart the failed workers and also the hidden option 8 to skip this process and both of these steps have failed.
I can't see anything about this error on Metalink or Oracle Forums.

Disappointed in Podcast Application - IOS7 UPGRADE FAILURE

I could not be more disappointed that my Podcast are now a part of a separate app. Not only is it a separate application but it works differently now so I loss many of the functions I would use previously. I can't even change podcasts in a locked screen to change.
What drives me nuts is this is a new way of dealing with my music and is entirely different. Who says this is a better way of doing things because it was clearly not me. Why can't I have the option to do what I want to do ? Does Apple think I'm dumb and can't decide what I want for myself.
I am not a happy camper about this Podcast change with ios7.
Can anyone give suggestions how to deal with this changes ?
1) how to change music with with a locked screen ?
2) will I be able to downgrade ios7 back to my previous version so I get my funtions back ?
3) can I play music in order of last to first ?
4) Why does my podcast stop playing when I enter my running application "MapmyRun" !!
What a mess... I'm so mad.....

I don't know what you mean by this. You can access play/pause, forward, back controls from the lock screen when playing, or from control center.

so i downloaded the new ios and noticed that some of my movies from my macbook showed up in the video icon on my iphone/ipad. i can play some of them however for the others always pauses because of the size of the movie. i noticed there is a little cloud icon i can click on to download but it never does. anyone have the same issue? any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks

The cloud icon just means it isn't downloaded to the device, are you sure you have enough storage left to accomodate it? That could be the problem if you don't have enough storage try unsyncing a couple things and see if it lets you download then.

I have latest version of ITunes and windows 7. Itunes says upgrade available for my ipod touch 4th generation but fails evry timwe to load. it says server connection failed part way through download. There is no issue with the server or internet connection. How do I get past this? IOS version 4.3.5 not in drop down box

Try closing the App Store app via the iPad's taskbar and then do a soft-reset and see if you can install it after the iPad has restarted. To close the App Store : double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the App Store app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
Soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
