Ios7 upgrade friends messages won't come through ipad
I upgraded my iPad to ios7 so I could use an app that required it. Now a friends messages that used to come through my iPad will only come on my phone. My outgoing message shows but not her incoming
Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

The Blackberry is designed to be reset by removing the battery whilst the device is powered-on. Leave the battery out for a minute or 2.
See if that resolves the problem. If not, uninstall the recent app addition and pull the battery again afterwards.

I have 2 iphones on one itunes account. I just upgraded both to ios 8 and now the messages i receive come through to both phones when they used to be separated. What is going on here?
I noticed the same problem after upgrading a few iPhones to IOS 8, all use the same Apple ID. However, I now notice when I go into Message and instead of selecting a person from my contact list, I start typing their name which brings up a list of people, some of which are not in my contact list and are on one of the other iPhones. There's a circle/exclamation point next to the name which I click on, and one of the options is to "Remove from Recent". How did these names get from one phone to another and how do I remove all "recents"? They do not appear in my contact list. Anyone see this?

Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -

Keychain activation code won't come through?
I've been trying to setup keychain for weeks. Everytime I try it asks for my 4 digit passcode which I enter and to sign in which I do. The it says please enter the activation code sent to +44**** ****77. It may take a few minutes for this to arrive.... It never does. Any ideas?

Hello, I just puchased the Sony smart TV 70 inch, but I cannot hear the sound.
I can not select the sound option from the Sony skype app.
But I can hear the sound when I use the video call.

IOS7 xcode5 Edge Animations won´t show on iPad
Hi,
i´ve just updated my development ipad and xcode to ios7 and xcode 5.
The app i´m developing uses webviews to display content – which includes images and edge animations –
embedded in one html-file using iscroll.js to swipe through (one page ould be an image, the next a Edge Animation,
separated in <li>-elements).
The Edge-Animations won´t show up, its just a blank page. However the iOS-Simulator shows everything correctly
but on the ipad the Animations just won´t show. Is this a known issue?

i´ve been on vacation – sorry for the late reply. The problem is solved, well partially.
I´ve had an error in the export-settings, which turned out not to be the problem after all, but first this:
Sorry, its the german Version. I´ve had the Framework via CDN-Option activated, which obviously could not work
if your ipad has no wireless-connection at all. You could image my embarrasement, once i´ve figured that out
But, after exporting all the animations again, this time with the right settings, it still didn´t work. I solved i with
a little trick – i´ve inserted a SIM-Card, the ipad loaded the framework and then it still worked after removing
the card again. I don´t know how the caching within an App works, but i´m a little bit confused by the fact, that
it didn´t work without the SIM-Card after replacing every Animation. But i´m confident that it will work out
somehow later in this week, i keep you posted.

IMessages don't come through on Wifi
I have one friend on the same carrier as me (cspire), with same phone as me (iPhone 5) and when he sends out a picture or group message it wont come through unless I have mobile data turned on. Wifi is on and connected all the time. I have sent and received iMessages to and from others on wifi. At times I'll turn on mobile data when I'm away from wifi and a flood of messages from this one friend will come through.
Any ideas? Something set wrong on his phone?On your iPhone, go to Settings > Messages. Make sure iMessage is turned on and you can see options for Read Receipts, Send as SMS and Receive at. If you don't see these options, turn off iMessages and then back on, the options should appear (apparently there's a bug that prevents the extra iMessage options from appearing when you first open the settings).
Tap on the option for Receive at and enter the email associated with your Mac iMessaging. Once entered, you should receive imessages on both your phone and your Mac. You may need to send/receive a couple of messages to get it to work. -
Email messages don't come in unless I
My messages won't come in unless I turn my phone off and on again. They all come in at once then quit again. I have to do this every time I check for messages. Help! It is costing me work since this is how i get my work orders. I have a blackberry curve 8330. My carrier is Sprint.
Yep, there is no reason for that. It sounds like you are losing your network connection or something.
Do this first: Reboot your device in this way: With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
Then, if after a few days if the issue continues, do this:
1. Options > Advanced > Host Routing Table > Menu > Register.
2. Resend your service books from your carrier BIS site.

When I connect my iPod touch to my computer, it won't come up on iTunes even when I open iTunes. iTunes doesn't come up with and error messages either. Really confused by this. Any suggestions?
After upgrading to Windows 8 . I was having the same issue. I uninstalled all Apple related software from PC. downloaded Itunes from the Apple website. It reinstalled all the software that I removed through the itunes download. Opened itunes and there was my phone completely recognized and ready to backup to icloud or pc.

How come my text messages are not going through as iMessages?
I've been having this problem for a few weeks now. When someone texts me from an iPhone with iMessage, I get their texts as a regular text message. Sometimes there text messages come in "s p a c e d o u t l i k e t h i s". I will also get multiple texts as well. When I respond to their text message, it usually goes through as an iMessage but when they respond, still a text message. Does anyone know why this could be happening or what I can do to fix it? I never did the last software upgrade if that helps. I ran into a lot of problems with the previous upgrade so I decided to just never upgrade again.
When you start a new imessage then you get your address book so you can choose who you send it to. There you get the option to choose a number or the email. Then take the email address. If you don`t have one then you must get there email and put it in your address book. Try it

Up until the ios7 upgrade I could track all our family's devices from my 3GS, now since upgrading to ios7 on the iPhone 4S and 5 I can't track them as they come up as 'offline'! And inactive on my icloud id that added on the devices!! Because I. can't upgrade to ios7 on my 3GS is that why, or do I need to do something else on each device?
It's possible that installing iOS7 on the other devices made the setting to the default for "Find My Friends". The default is off/disabled. Thus they are off line.
Double check their settings for that feature.

i cannot get text message via voice on my ford touch console after uploading the latest ios7 upgrade. Is this an issue with the upgrade or is there a setting on the phone that needs to be fixed?
I don't know how you received an upgrade for iTunes. You make it sound like it was sent to you. At most your computer will tell you of a new version and you tell it to download it and install it. However, a computer will not do this for a version which is incompatible. iTunes 10.7 came out a few weeks ago but your computer would not notify you and even if it did, 10.7 would refuse to install on your computer. So this part isn't making a lot of sense.
Two ways to get the 'newer version' message. One is to open your library on a computer running a newer version, and then try to open it with an older version. Usually happens when the library is on an external and used with multiple computers. The second way is if you have multiple versions of itunes installed on your computer.
The newest (and likely the last) iTunes for OSX 10.5.8 is iTunes 10.6.3 which has been out for quite a while.
