IOS8.4 has caused my itunes to be in albums only.
My new IPhone 6s was listing my itunes in alphabetical order. I updated the phone to IOS8.4. Now I cannot get my list back alphabetically. It list my purchased songs in Albums. I am so frustrated because I used my songs to excercise, easy listening, etc. now I j\have to go in and play each song one at a time. Can someone tell me how to get my playlist of 400 + songs back in alphabetical order?
At the top of the screen in red, it says Albums. Tap Albums and the pop up menu will appear. Tap songs to change list.

ITunes 7 not downloading album only material
I just purchased an album, and the digital booklet and one of the songs--the "album only" items--hung in the download. I clicked on the "Downloads" link, and the window said that it had downloaded the full MB but it said it was still "processsing."
After this had gone on several minutes, I decided to close iTunes. I got a dialog box that basically said I would be prompted to continue downloading when I reopened iTunes. However, when I reopened iTunes, no such thing happened. Now I have no way to retrieve this material. Help!!Your welcome, just remeber if a download doesn't finish for whatever reason ( PC crashed, rebooted, lost electic to your house, Internet connection went down, Dog chewed the DSL line in half ect ect ect) just goto store>Check for purchases to start it up again.
Alot of people had this issue this summer where they was online downloading and those "Supraise" thunderstorms popped up and knocked out power for a min or 2 -

Come on iTunes. Why do you have these ridiculous "album only" offerings.
THE WHOLE point of iTunes is to be able to pick one song from an album if that is all you want. Why should I be forced to buy a whole album for ONE song?

You do not waste your time complaining to anyone. You check out other online music download stores. I have on occasion found that tracks sold as "Album Only" at the iTunes Store are available as individual tracks at Amazon.com. You might get lucky. -
I Have 2 users on my computer and both access i-tunes using same password etc. however 1 library has the full content of music but the other one has only partial playlists. How do I get both users to have the same full library?
The title of my initial post is a bit misleading. I already took a chance deleting one of the iPhones, hoping if I deleted the wrong one, I can still reauthorize it (all with the same Apple ID acct, so not subject to 90-day waiting period, right?) The iTunes database just updated itself, and it says I have 4 "devices" "in the Cloud", but 5 "computers" associated w my account. How can I find out what computers are associated? Isn't there a list I can see? I dont have a clue what computers they might be. If I use the "Deauthorize All" option, is it a pain to add them all back in. I assume I would have to log in from each computer to reauthorize each one. Would I have to be running the newest OS or version of iTunes to reauthorize? I think I have a PowerBook G4 Titanium with an older OS and iTunes. I'd like to keep that authorized, if possible.

Recent ITunes update has caused ITunes not to work. Tried uninstalling all Apple products and reinstalling fresh. Still doesn't work. Tried reinstalling from an old install.exe. Install went nicely but program won't start as it says it can't open the library file.
Now that I have no way of accessing any of the products I have purchased from ITunes, I will most certainly never use ITunes again for any reason. Why throw good money after bad? I will use another MP3 player that is not as cumbersome or proprietary.

For some reason the Apple ID window in iTunes and App Store now seems to suddenly have a character number constraint which prevents me using my 29 character Apple ID. As a result I am unable to enter the final few characters of my Apple ID which I have had for many years. Does anyone know what has caused this?
You need to ask Apple for assistance with getting back into your old ID. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to resolve this issue through the Account Security team, fill out and submit this form.

iTunes keeps shutting down when I open it up. The message says iTunes has stopped working. A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solutions is found.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you've already tried something like the above then try opening iTunes in safe mode (press and hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes) then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases. You may find that iTunes opens normally now.

If the phone was NOT unlocked, it can't work or be activated with any other carrier than AT&T. It CAN'T be used with Tigo or Movistar.

I forgot to mention that she has a PC at her house that she also syncs to. Would this cause a problem. I am already getting that pop up saying that the iPod is synced to another library (even though she is signed in with her Apple ID to iTunes) and gives the pop up to Cancel, Erase & Sync, or Transfer Purchases. My question arose because she clicked on "Erase & Sync" by mistake when she plugged the iPod to her PC the first time. When the iPod was purchased and setup, it was synced to my PC first. When she went home, she hooked it up to her PC and then she erased it by accident. I was able to restore all the missing stuff yesterday using my PC. However, even after doing that it still told me the next time I hooked it up last night that the iPod was currently synced with a different library. Hopefully, you can help me understand all this. She wants to sync her iPod and also backup her iPod at both places. Both PCs have been authorised. Thanks -
how do I make it so that the one computer that has the main itunes account on it be used on other computers, when it comes to backing up phones and not deleting data off of phone that isnt on that computer itunes becasse its all on the one main computer. Baiscally the problem is that one comuter and one account has always been sued for eey persons itunes. Now if we want to be able to backup and use itunes on our own computers fro our iphones and such, how will all he data that is on our phones not be deleted once its plugged into a new computer? Also, is theere a way to get all the stuff on thw current itunes onto each computer, via differtn account name?
option discovered in preferences. Really this and any feature that moves deletes or edits a users data should as far as possible be OFF BY DEFAULT. It shouldn't by default and without the users specific say do this dangerous and unnecessary thing without even letting the user know what it's doing!!! And then cause me a few hours (as i'm new to mac) searching for the option so as to switch it off. If i hadn't noticed the status cage declaring that it was copying files then i might never have twigged that this insane thing was occurring. And if i hadn't of noticed i would have been left maintaining the contents of the folder i copied the files to, the folder which as far as i was informed and so believed was also the location of the music files i was playing. How does Apple justify this 'genius' piece of software non-design? Surely it will hurt no one if this was off by default for new users - overall at least i dare say it would cause a lot less distress in the future for the unsuspecting public at large. Updating podcasts causes my iTunes to fail and close
When I update my podcasts, whether manually by using the refresh button or allowing the program to go update, it causes my iTunes to fail and close. I have tried multiple times, closing and restarting, killing it in Task Manager and restarting, rebooting the PC, and even uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes. I do get a generic "ITunes has encountered and issue and will close now. Windows will notify you if there is a solution" message, but that's it.

Why does my IPad 2 suddenly cause my ITunes to crash when i try and sync ?
Strange question but suddenly plugging in my IPad 2 causes my ITunes to stop
I tried the usual fixes -reinstalling ITunes, resetting the IPad, nothing made any difference.
I also have the bug that keeps telling me 'my password has been entered incorrectly too many times" every time ITunes starts and even logging out of ITunes didnt seem to fix this.
I have the most recent software on both the PC and the IPad 2 and I didnt change anything - all of a sudden it stopped working !
Any help would be much apprecaited. I am away for several months to a warm place and I sort of need my travel media.
I just want to watch the movies I already paid for here, I didnt change any settings or features that I ama ware of and I am terrified to erase my IPad since if I do - and I still cant connect I have nothing for several months
RegardsDo a FACTORY RESTORE...not from your back...
Make sure you DON'T allow iTunes to back-up your Ipad before this as it will Replace your back up with the funcky New app arrangement and soo on..
Now after the Factory restore, restart iTunes and do a restore from the Back-p. AGAIN don't let iTunes do a back-up prior to this... -
Downloading the upgrade for iTunes to 11.1.4 has caused timewasting problems and error message such as R6034. I have followed Apple's advice to reinstall iTunes, but still have the problem or error messages and no iTunes. What's going on? Upgrades until now have all worked smoothly.

Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to perform unauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. First you must uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer, then edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from the hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect.
