IOS8 8.0.2 Bluetooth will not connect to Heart rate Monitor H7

I have just switched over to the iPhone 6 and it is running the 8.0.2 IOS 8 version but it will not pick up or pair with my Heart rate Monitor. We saw the same issue when Updating to 8.0.2 on the iPhone 5. It looks like when you update to the new IOS it will break the Bluetooth connecting option to the drive that worked on IOS 7 or before.
I thought this would be an issue with the HR monitor but it works fine on any device until yu update to IOS 8. I would say this is a backwards compatibility issue with IOS 8 not connecting to devices that iPhone used to connect to in Earlier IOS versions.
Are there any plans to fix this bug in IOS 8 to allow for being able to use Devices that worked in previous IOS versions?

If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data, then reinstall the OS.* You don't need to erase the startup volume, and you won't need the backup unless something goes wrong. If the system was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you may need the Apple ID and password you used.
If you use FileVault 2, then before running the Installer you must launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the FileVault startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name.) It will be nested below another icon with the same name. Click the Unlock button in the toolbar and enter your login password when prompted. Then quit Disk Utility to be returned to the main Recovery screen.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
If you installed the Java runtime distributed by Apple and still need it, you'll have to reinstall it. The same goes for Xcode. All other data will be preserved.

Yes they have reason to.
To send a file or photo to or from a phone.
Bluetooth does that on any other phone or device.
No point in bluetooth even being in a phone if it cant be used wherever or with what devices i choose.
May as well unistall it.
Craziest thing i have ever heard " it won't connect becasue it has no reason to" it has a reason to send a photo to another device.

My Iphone 4's bluetooth will not connect.

The problem that I am having is that my bluetooth on my iPhone 4 will not connect. When you visit the bluetooth settings, the area where you would turn it off and on has a loading circle. The button never returns and doesn't allow me to turn my bluetooth on or off. I used the control panel that you can access by swiping up on the screeen; however, whenever you turn that off or on there is no change to the bluetooth. I have completely restored the iPhone a couple times using different settings hoping that it would change the outcome but no luck. I am trying to connect my iPhone 4 to a JLabs bluetooth headset and it has worked well in the past but all of the sudden it seems like my phone no longer has bluetooth. I appreciate any information you all can give me regarding the issue. Thanks and have a great day.

When you restore the device as new, you are essentially reinstalling a fresh new copy of iOS 7 onto your device. This will clear out any potential software issues with the device, so it is important to not restore from a backup in order to isolate your personal files from conflict.
If the bluetooth is still not functioning after a complete factory restore with iTunes on a computer, than your device will be experiencing a hardware issue and will need to be serviced.
If you are within the 1-year warranty or have purchased AppleCare, you will be eligibile for a replacement iPhone 4 for free. If you are not within any form of warranty, then you will be subject to an Out of Warranty repair fee of $149.

My iPhone 4S Bluetooth will not connect with either my iPad1, MacBook Pro or Automobile BT. Suspect a stack issue in new BT 4.0 (BTLE) release. Has any one discovered fix to this. I have tried this with two separate 4S phones and have same problem..

When I initially discovered the problem I went to an Apple Store. Genius was excellent but requested that I check with VW. VW people were very helpful. A mechanic had an iphone 4s. He could not pair my phone to my car. He tries my phone in a new 2011 GTI sitting on the lot ... my phone pairs with it just fine. So ... it's my car. So ... make an appointment to get the bluetooth module replaced. They replace the Bluetooth module. My iphone will not pair. They end up pairing 2 different iphone 4S to my car ... but not my iphone 4S. My iphone 4S will also not pair with another 2010 GTI they have in for service. Though the 2 iphone 4S
pair with the second GTI just fine. They even try pairing my iphone with a brand new 2012 GTI in the showroom ... yep ... it paired fine. So ... ????????????????
They are going to update my nav software next (tomorrow), Hopeful ??? not really ... Will be taking my computer to Apple Store next ... maybe if they can discover why it will not pair to my MacBook Pro it will lead to a solution for the GTI ??? I'll get back to you.

Ipod touch 2g bluetooth will not connect after syncing with iTunes

Had my ipod touch 2nd gen working with Bluetooth pairing to my Jambox and Boss DVD player and previously had worked with my AudioEngine Bluetooth device. Had a problem with musc files giving me an 1309 error message, was able to just select music manually without sync until this problem came up.
Had to initiate the auto Sync with iTunes which removed the error message for Music and since then my Bluetooth pairing has stopped. Have ver 4.21 and the Bluetooth shows the bluetooth mac address.
The Love is gone for this device. It will not pair up with devices that were working under bluetooth last week.
Anyone have any ideas?

- On the iPod try resetting network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. You will have to repair Bt defive s and rejoin wifi networks
- Reset the BT devices and repair. You have to see the BT device manual for how to reset them.

IPhone 4s Bluetooth will not connect with my 2009 Mercedes S550

My 2009 Mercedes S550 will recognize my iPhone 4s via Bluetooth and then will connect but then I get a message on my phone that it is incompatible and then the car and phone don't recognize the other. Car says 'phone is off' when it is not. Any ideas on what to do? It has worked for 2 years with a 3GS iPhone and the other operating systems.

I took my phone to the dealership and they were able to get it to pair. They did all the pairing from the phone side. They activated the bluetooth receiver on the car and then went into the bluetooth settings on the phone to pair it. It works fine now. Regarding the ringtone...my wife had a similar problem and it was the ringtone she had selected on her phone that was causing the problem. You might try changing your ringtone to see if you still have the same problem.

10.6.8 Bluetooth will not connect to Apple keyboard

I just upgraded to 10.6.8 and my Apple keyboard, which came with the iMac, can't be recognized by the iMac. My old bluetooth keyboard from my old G5 iMac is recognized and works OK. One more question. I tried using the Apple install disk that came with the computer. It's an OS 10.5.6 disk. It does not see my 10.6.8 system internal hard drive to repair. All it see's is itself 10.5.6 disk. Do you think I can use a 10.8+ disk utillity since that is a higher system it will see the 10.6.8. Where the 10.5.6 does not?
I don't want to turn the computer off for fear I'll get the question mark again. P-Ram got me going last time but for how long I don't know? It would be nice to be able to turn the computer off for the night and startup as usual to give it a rest and try to reset itself.
Thanks for your help, I know I will eventually need to re-install. But I am in the middle of a project with tight deadlines and all I can do right now is back-up. Trying to migrate to another computer temporarily to finish the job. That's a lot of extra work in the short time also.

My iphone 5 will not connect to my home wifi or Bluetooth after I completed the iOS 7.1.1 update. Before the update I was able to connect to my home network with no issues. Now it rarely finds my home network (unless I'm right in front of the router and even still the signal is weak) and when it does find my home wifi network it frequently disconnects from it. I followed previous suggestions to turn off router or forget network settings and re-establish them but it continues to happen.
This also happening with my Bluetooth connection. My iphone 5 would automatically connect to my home phone Bluetooth prior to the iOS 7.1.1 update. But now my device no longer connects, which means my home phone no longer rings when my cell phone is ringing.
I probably would be less worries if I did not have to monitor my data usage with Verizon. However, I do have a limited amount of data to use and I recently reached the max and had to pay extra money due to my wifi being unable to connect. Can anyone please help me with fixing this?

If you have Applecare take it back to the shop and demand a replacement. If not you're stuffed. It's a bug that they've put in the software to get you to buy another iphone. You can maybe warm it up with an hairdryer near the speaker and then turn it off and put it in the freezer for 10 mins then retstart it and wi-fi is there. It could also be a problem with the chip, if you do the freezer thing it comes back.
Apple knows its a problem as there are millions of people out there that it is happening to, in my opinion get shut and get a Samsung!!!! That's what i've done and love my new Samsung S3 Mini miles better than the iphone!!!!

Targus bluetooth mouse will not connect in bootcamp

I have a Targus blueetooth mouse that will not connect in bootcamp. It has worked fine for a long time in XP and 7. Then I upgraded the haddrive and had to do a lean install of Windows 7 and the Apple bootcamp 5. Now it will not connect at all. I have the "Apple Broadcom Built-in Bluetooth" seleted , it sees the mouse but it tries to connect and just stalls. This is very frustrating since without the mouse it is nearly impossible to troubleshoot Windows.

what works +every time+ for me :
use your fingers to move the cursor up to the bluetooth icon (top right of display)
click bluetooth icon, select user mouse / connect
then quickly move the cursor up (with fingers) so it touches or is very close to the bluetooth icon
and start clicking with your mouse (making sure the mouse is on obviously).
I have NO idea why but this works on my MacBookPro everytime. If I try to connect without moving the cursor near the BT icon it won't connect (or takes at least 10 trys).

That is because they do not generally pair. What is it that you are trying to do by connecting them via Bluetooth? If you are referring to AirDrop or continuity, then all you need to do is have Bluetooth turned on, they do not pair.

Iran uses GSM, so the iPhone 5 will work. It is already unlocked. Just put local Iranian SIM in phone.
