IOs8 keeps trying to search for my current time zone

i noticed for a while after updating to 8.0.2 that my battery would drain rather fast. Much more so than using ios7. also, some apps using time stamp would take a long time to update, like iMessage. going through settings the other day, I noticed the loading wheel under 'set time automatically would spin and spin and spin. So I turned off the auto feature, and voila, battery's life tripled.
any ideas on a fix, because the time stamp and alarm functions still don't work.

It may be required for you to reset the Lumia in order for the update to be installed. You will find this option in Settings>About>reset your phone. This will erase all information on your phone so make sure you have synced all contact and calendar data with your respective Exchange Active Sync accounts and your media files with Zune. You can use the app Reinstaller to download all (paid) apps again. When prompted select BUY for your app and it will be recognized as bought before and you will be allowed to install it again.

Over the air update did not come out until iOS 5. You need to open iTunes on your computer and connect your phone to it and follow the prompts to update. Do a manual back before you do that

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router.
Reset the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings)
Restore the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Restore)

How can I get a digital WDT that includes all samples, not just the one for the current time step...?

If you're looking to produce have your display include the solution information from previous solver steps, you will need to buffer the previous data. The way to implement this in a Control Design & Simulation Loop is using the Memory.vi found under Control Design & Simulation > Simulation > Utilities > Memory.vi. It will allow you to save previous information generated in the simulation environment for letter solution steps.
I've attached an example that should get you started in using the Memory.vi.
I would also make sure that what you're looking to accomplish is suitable for the Control & Simulation Loop. I know you mentioned you were new to LabVIEW so I wanted to make sure you were heading off in the right direction. Is there a particular reason why you are using the Control & Simulation Loop instead of a standard While or For Loop? The Control Design & Simulation loop is unique in that it calculates the solution of a dynamic system at a prescribed time step and ODE solver. It also provides the tools to interact with the model you are solving during execution. However, if you are simply looking to perform data acquisition and measurements (instead of dynamic model simulation) I would recommend using standard LabVIEW functions.

I tried connecting to iTunes and neither the PC nor iTunes recognizes the device. I went through all the troubleshooting on the Apple website for this issue and nothing worked. I've reinstalled iTunes, the driver, everything and still can't get either the PC or iTunes to recognize the phone. I don't know what else to do :-( any help or suggestions are highly appreciated!
I would hate to have lost all my info, especially contacts and calendar items since I have no idea what was backed up prior to the phone getting locked on this screen. I've been told that my only option is to go to the phone carrier and they will reset it for me, but that means it will wipe out all the info.
I hope someone has a fix other than that one.

There is no Apple here, this is a user to user forum. When you said you restored, then you restore as NEW?
If you restored as New and still the problem persiist, then it time to take a trip to the Apple store.

I am facing to a problem related getting time zone offset.
Below code is used for my application :
NSDate* sourceDate = [NSDate date];
NSTimeZone* destinationTimeZone = [NSTimeZone systemTimeZone];
timeZoneOffset = [destinationTimeZone secondsFromGMTForDate:sourceDate] / 3600;
But sometimes seems that above code is getting work wrong. For example :
Knoxville, TN : time zone offset should be -5. But my code resulted it as -4.

I think your code is giving you the correct offset for Knoxville on today's date. The offset for Eastern Standard Time (EST) is -5, but Knoxville is currently on Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), which is one hour later than EST. (-5) + 1 => (-4), which is what your code computed.

The above should give you the offset for Knoxville on Dec. 7, 2010, which is a winter date.
Actually I don't know how get to "Daylight saving time:".
You can test a NSTimeZone object with [isDaylightSavingTimeForDate:|http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentat ion/Cocoa/Reference/Foundation/Classes/NSTimeZoneClass/Reference/Reference.html#//appleref/doc/uid/20000190-CHDCJGHE], but you don't need that information when you obtain the offset with secondsFromGMTForDate:.

I keep getting an error message while trying to search for flights on Expedia

I have used Expedia many times in the past without difficulty. Recently, however, whenever I try to search for flights on Expedia, I get a message that says "Sorry, we're having a problem on our end. If Firefox opens up fine with no problems, it's probably one of your extensions that's causing the issue. You can re-enable your add-ons one by one until you find the one that causes the issue upon being re-enabled.

I have an iPad 3 and after upgrading to ios7 not it keeps rebboting every five minuites and searching for network all the time.
i tried to reset all setting then hard reset then i did a restore for the device now when it open it keeps in the activating mode and searching for networks also and restarting after 5 minuites.
Please someone help me urgently.

Restore as new (not from a backup) and test. If the problem continues, time to seek a Genius Bar appointment.

Trying to connect an iPad to my PC. That worked.... Unfortunately I thought I could use the iPad as a storage device and transfer a Power Point presentation to the iPad. Fooling around in iTunes i looked around in the folder structure trying to find the PP-document.
Then I got the info that the app Keynote needs to be used. I purchased the app and while trying to install it the answer is that I need to update the iOS. Clicking on the "search for updates"-button I get directed to one of the folders at the C-drive where I kept the PP-presentation... I need help to fix this! What folder is the "search for updates" supposed to aim at?
