whit netbeans, i start new project midlet...write code with bluetooth class (javax.bluetooth.*) and all compile correctly, no external library required, i think in wireless toolkit there are some jsr82 implementation class...but if i copy my jar ( and jad) on a phone...i try a lg mobile...i see "no class def found error" that happende if import class from javax.bluetooth...how can i undestand where/why jme phone support bluetooth???

I had the same issue with my battery but figured out what was causing it. I had an email account - an exchange account - that was stuck in a "loading" status for the "Auto Reply." I uninstalled the account and reinstalled and now my battery is back to it's old self.

I'd still prefer to keep separate user accounts. I never had any issues like this before. The only time I started having a problem was when I was just trying to force empty the trash a few months ago. I came on here looking for a solution and someone posted a way to empty the trash using the terminal. Before then, I hadn't used the terminal for anything--it was just another app in my utilities folder. (None of this has anything to do with having separate user accounts. Plenty of people with kids make second and third user accounts on their laptops so that multiple people can use one laptop, having more than one user on a laptop is not very difficult.) But thank you, I'll try that out and see if it works!

C3-00 Change Bluetooth Class of Device (COD)

My Pioneer bluetooth car-stereo doen't autodetect my Nokia C3-00 phone.
After researching it seems the Pioneer searches for an Bluetooth "Phone" device
and the Nokia has an "Smartphone" Class.
Is it possible to change the Bluetooth "Class of Device" (COD)

I am now able to access the Ovi Store if I use the Ovi Store link. I am using this setup from stugatsa:

I cannot access the Ovi Store from the Nokia.mobi links on the phone. Also, if I select a free app from the Nokia Ovi Suite Ovi Store and have it downloaded to my phone, I cannot access the link that is in the text message. I was able to select Ovi Store on my phone, search for the number in the text message and download the app. I don't know if this will work with paid apps.

Terrible flagship problems, bluetooth and syncing

Ok, this is getting a bit pants now..
Firstly, everytime I connect my phone using the USB cable and start either Nokia Music or Ovi it syncs my music.. every track.. every time.. This is on a fresh install of XP SP3.. no other software at all..
Nokia care ummed and errred for a while and "promised" to call back with a solution after trying to convince me that the problem was my tracks didn't have names (which they do.. and album art).. They leaped on the chance to blame my Mac running XP.. firstly, that's not a excuse.. a Mac booting XP is a PC.. secondly, I'm using a Dell, I never said I ran XP on my Mac..
This cannot be normal! (the syncing problem, not the lack of support.. I've never had Nokia care solve a problem, but that goes for Apple too)
Secondly, I have a pair of BH-905.. the flagship headphones.. noise cancelling, BT, very very nice (on paper).. but..
It is not accep.........tabletocutoutthenspeed up during playback. It does th..........isfartooregularly it is very dull.
Next problem is the first call after turning the headphones on.. the microphone is mute.. You can hear the caller/other end, but they can't hear you. That's real handy, especially if the phone is in your bag.. you have to dig it out, press "activate handset" then "activate BT headset" to allow them to hear you
Seriously, two flagship devices and they didn't test them together?!
I've got to find a decent phone to test the headset. Since the N97 loves bugs, I suspect this is a failing in the phone..
Maybe v20 will solve these problems. Seriously.. BT headset not working.. what year is this? 2001? Screwing up such a basic phone feature is as bad as I dunno playing the default ringtone randomly!! I jest, but still something is very wrong when the two flagship devices (Nokia billed the BH-905 as the best headset ever!) don't work properly.. shocking!!!
Does anyone else have these problems with bluetooth headsets on the N97 or perhaps on other Nokia devices?
How about syncing? I take it everyone here can sync only new tracks when they connect their phone?

I am convinved there's something messed up with the N97's BT Audio stack. I have the Blue & Me BT audio system in my Grande Punto and it worked perfectly with my N95, problematic on the iPhone when Apple messed something up in a firmware update but later fixed and worked fine, but the N97 struggles to connect automatically when I get in the car and turn on the ignition. I have to either turn the N97 bluetooth off and back on again or manually connect the N97 to Blue & Me.
I really am hoping that Nokia get it all fixed in 2.0.

Problem in Class Loading

I am using Sun implementation of JAXB(jaxb-api.jar) for java-to-xml binding in my web application deployed in the latest version of oracle app server(10g release 3). The web server is loading Oracle implementation of JAXB from the shared archive xml.jar. To direct the web server to load application specific JAXB classes, I have used the property(<web-app-class-loader search-local-classes-first="true" include-war-manifest-class-path="false" />) in the deployment description - orion.xml file. But it does not solve the problem!

Refer to this link on OC4J's Classloading Framework... http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B25221_04/web.1013/b14433/classload.htm#sthref58 there are a couple of options you may be able to employ, including overriding the shared library - there is an example of doing this with the Oracle XML parser and Xerces.
I'm guessing you're on the right track, but you may want to try include-war-manifest-class-path="true". Also, are you sure that you've got your deployment descriptor file defined correctly? Its normally called orion-application.xml, and that particular element isn't defined in the documentation (http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B25221_04/web.1013/b14433/descriptors.htm#sthref337). You could always try configuring it through the administration console.

Problem - different classes in a custom list

Hi,
Im making a school project and must use this List-class, written by some of our teachers.
The problem is, the nodes in the list are type of Objects, and i must store multiple types of classes in the list.
Storing works fine, but when i want to do something with a specific item in the list, i cannot use it's methods since its now type Object. So everytime I want to use it, i have to cast the Object back to the class it was originally, and there are like 20 of them so thats hell of a lot if-clauses to check which type must i cast it to, and thats in every place that does something with the list.
Am I being extremely dumb here? Whats the proper way to do this?

XML mapping inheritance problem; missing class indicator field

I am currently working on a project which involves mapping a large domain model on a XSD schema. For this we use Toplink 10.1.3.1 which is mostly great. But now I have a problem while wanting to use class inheritance.
In my XSD I have the following defined

</Trajecten>My domain model corresponts to the XSD, so there is a Traject object and an inherited SpecialTraject object.
In the mapping I used the Advanced properties->inheritance on both descriptors telling the Traject descriptor that it was the 'Root Parent Descriptor' ('Use class indicator field' -> 'use XML Schema Type attribute', 'Use class indicator dictionary') and the SpecialTraject what it Child Descriptor was ('Traject').
When I test my mapping it always results in the same error (no matter how I configure this inheritance mapping). It says :
[TOPLINK-44] missing class indicator field
Descriptor: XMLDescriptor(Traject --> [])What am I doing wrong? Does anybody know a sollution?

This is the changed XML descriptor file. When I deploy the file it automaticly overrides the old file so it ain't possible that I was still using the wrong file

Problem accessing class in jar file

Hello. I am trying to create a jar file from my already compiled classes. I have around 5 packages, and my programs' entry point is in one of the packages, we'll call package A. Each package has its own purpose and package A calls any needed package to perform their task. This works well when I compile, run and all. However, when I create a jar file, it only works with the local package and any calls to another package do not work. How can I get around this? any help will be appreciated

Problem importing classes and beans

Hey there. Im having one major fustrating problem! When I code supporting classes and beans for my JSPs I get a code 500 internal server error when trying to import (via <%@ page import="class" %> and <jsp:useBean/>) Im storing my classes and beans in the WEB-INF folder and the calling JSPs are located in /ROOT/tests/8/jsp.jsp. Im using the following to import a class or bean:
<%@ import="aClass" %>
Seen as tho its in the WEB-INF folder I won't have to explicitly refer to where the class is located, just the class name.
I never had this problem when I was using my hosting service. Its only on my localhost server in which I get the Internal Server error.

Question: is /ROOT a context entry in your server.xml?
Which JSP Container (version) you use? Maybe your localhost server's set up is different with your hosting.

Problem: Bluetooth in OS X Lion

I have a problem.
Yesterday, I downloaded and installed OS X Lion in my Macbook Pro (2009). Everything is OK, except Bluetooth. I don't know the reason, but my computer doesn't recognize Bluetooth integrated in my Macbook Pro. What can i do?

I've done:
- Reset SMC.
- Repair Disk Permissions.
- Reset PRAM with keys (Cmd+Alt+P+R) doesn't work. I don't know the reason.
But the problem remains. I've watched the section "System Information" in About my Mac, and the section "Bluetooth" is "not available", but my computer has bluetooth, in Snow Leopard was worked perfectly. It's really weird.
So please... Someone can I help me with this problem?

Problem with Class.getResource()

I am trying to load a jar file dynamicaly like,
ClassLoader prevClassLoader = Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader();
URLClassLoader m_ClassLoader = new URLClassLoader(new URL[] {new URL(sV1JarPath)}, prevClassLoader);
But after doing this if I try to load a resource from the "prevClassLoader " like,
MyClass.class.getResource("path"); where MyClass is loaded by prevClassLoader, it is not working. It fails to load the resource.
Can anyone help me correct this issue?

try "/path".I am giving it like
MyClass.class.getResource("images/" + name); where there is an images packages in side the package where MyClass resides.
But here the problem is as MyClass is in the prevClassLoader and it is not able to find it when we call Class.getResource()

You are using a separate thread to update the gui. As swing is not multithread safe, this is not good. Anytime you want to change the gui, you must do it on the gui thread. This means without extra help, you should only change the gui from within a Listener, such as a MouseListener, KeyListener, etc, etc.
In your case, you are updating the not from the gui thread (not from a Listener), and so you must ask the gui thread to do the work for you when it has time.
This means you need to use SwingUtilities.invokeLater or SwingUtilities.invokeAndWait.
Since the sequencing is important to you in your code, you should probably use invokeAndWait, such as
public void run()
          SwingUtilities.invokeAndWait( new Runnable()
                 public void run() { DisplayMessage(Language.CONNECT_DB); }
          Data_net Donnee_net=new Data_net();
          SwingUtilities.invokeAndWait( new Runnable()
