My iPhone 5S will not connect to LTE

So I have had the phone for a couple of days and I have found that the phone does not connect to LTE, I checked the data and I'm not even getting 7mbps, so I know its not LTE speeds. I have tried to reset the network settings and also turned the phone off and back on also taken out the sim card. I'm currently lost do I have a bad phone, this phone is supposed to be picking up LTE signals correct it is running IOS 7.0.1. Please help!

I faced exactly the same issue. But I figured out the issue atleast for my case.
When I upgraded from my old phone to the new iphone ATT did not update my IMEI number.
So had to call the help desk and request them to update the account to the new IMEI no of my iphone. Since then works like a charm.
Ohh and btw a lot of retards from ATT don't know about this is the solution had to do extensive research (All Hail Google)

Also, why does the podcast ap say its unable to authorize to automatically update my podcasts (which automatically download to my mac book pro every day without a problem)?

Go here:
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > tap your Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region
and confirm that it's set to the correct country for your account. If it is, try signing out of your account and back in.

It is not the wording but the lack of detail.
The iPhone connects to both the phone network (3G, LTE, etc) and to WiFi networks. Which one (or both) are you having issues with?
If it is the phone network, go to Settings->Cellular and see if Cellular data is turned on globally AND for the apps you wish to use.
If it is a WiFi network, go to Settings->Wi-Fi and see if you are connected to a network. If so, touch the circled "i" next to the network name and see that you have a valid IP address, etc. (take a screen shot and post it if you don't know what to look for).

Sorry for any trouble with your data. Let's look into this OK? Please turn on your mobile data and try again to access the internet. When accessing the internet, either Wifi or VZW data has to be turned on.

"health data" data points do not connect

The data point I have entered for things like blood pressure, heart rate, etc., do not connect. I have seen them connected in demos, ads, etc., so I'm wondering why the ones I have entered are not connecting. Any ideas?

Respectfully, do you have anything to add here? Everybodies opinion has some merit but all you seem to do is throw out negative comments and detract from what the rest of us are trying to do here.
Verizon are billing customers for data they can't or won't explain, That is the the problem. If you are happy with being billed hundreds of megabytes in overage and it doesn't effect you, great, go be happy.
For others that do care and professionals like myself who work on the move, These overrages cost me over $1000 per month in unexplained charges. Maybe they are valid, maybe they are not but the point is that right now there is no accountability,
Over the weekend I ran exactly the same length skype call through both my IPhone thether (AT&T) and my Verizon 4G LTE wireless hotspot. AT&T data usage showed 30 mb (within a few megabytes of the in/out traffic to the MAC address). Verizon billed be 500mb for the same duration call with a comparable amount of in/out traffic to it's MAC address. Clearly something stinks here
Update for everybody else ...
I am still waiting for Verizon customer support to get back to me. Amusingly, they blocked one of my threads in less than 24 hours because they didn't like what I had to say about their service but it's been 5 days and I still haven't heard back about this issue.
The solution to this problem is now obvious to me - don't do business with Verizon, As great as their service could be it is unusable until Verizon address their data usage fees, something they seem unwilling to explain and unable to address.

My 2nd gen works fine with WPA2 and AES encryption.
You may need to go back and start over. Reset the router back to factory defaults, log on as the admin, set up security, DHCP, and make sure the IP address pool has enough IP addresses to lease to ALL of the computers/devices that will connect to that the router.

ITunes could not connect to the iTunes Store "Error Message"

I recently added iTunes 7.6 to my Windows XP operating system at the same time when I added an *Ion USB Turntable (TTUSB).* I currently have the 80G iPod with the larger video screen. I added in the supplied software of the EZ Vinyl Converter. The software reads from Gracenote and imports into iTunes okay. But now my PC cannot access the iTunes store to buy songs, read the tracks on the discs, or display new album artwork. The diagnostic read the network connectivety test, the CD/DVD drive, and iPod connectivity tests all read okay. I followed the directions on checking the network settings under the Internet Options Tool "Connections" Lan Settings and the Automatic detection and still no dice. All I get is "Make sure your network is active."
Can anybody help out their?

I'm seeing this error on some, but not all, of my Windows XP machines. On my personal development XP box, I see this error if iTunes is closed when I try and access iTunes U via my transfer script or Stanford's.
"iTunes could not connect to the Music Store. The network connection was terminated unexpectedly. Make sure your network connection is active and try again."
The errors occured in IE 7 Beta, Firefox 1.5.x, and Firefox 2 Beta. In each case, iTunes U loaded after I clicked the 'ok' button in iTunes. I did notice that in Firefox's case an additional pop-up window appeared that asked whether or not I had iTunes; when I selected that I do have itunes, it transfered me to iTunes but generated the error.
After getting these errors on my Windows XP machine, I tried it on two different lab machines running Windows XP, and didn't get the error message once -- I tried it in IE 6, Firefox 1.0.x and Firefox 1.5.x and they all worked. It even worked with IE 7 Beta and Vista Beta.
Based on this, I think the problem must lie in how Windows registered iTunes, and the handshake just isn't happening properly.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

OK, what you should do is download the updates on another machine and burn them to a disc. Start at this link http://support.apple.com/downloads/#leopard for downloads and find, among other things, the 10.5.8 combo updater that works on PPC machines, plus security, QuickTime and other updates. Going from 10.5.1 to 10.5.8, there will probably be a bunch of things that you should install. Being off the internet with the machine, you can't have Software Update sort it out, so something might get missed, unfortunately.
My suggestion is this: if it looks like you might need a download, get it onto that disc.

am at wits end. I set up 15 machines at work under Win 7 for RD and all are working with Win 7 Pro.

Do you mean that the Dell XPS 8700 and laptop can’t RDP to work Windows 7 machines, but the Windows XP laptop can RDP to?
Please take the following steps for troubleshooting:
1. Share us the result of command ipconfig /all in the source and destination computers
2. Check if we can ping the Windows 7 machines from the Dell XPS 8700 and laptop

Error message "not connected to internet" when trying to sign in to BB id with Mac laptop

I have a Mac laptop and was forced to remove the original BB Link OS when the Z10 launched. I replaced the OS with the current one but now it doesn't allow me to use my Mac's computer name eg. John Smith's Mac book. I can only use a single name. I suspect that is why I'm not getting the itune's library to load. Also, I can't sign into my BB id, I get a message that says I'm not connected to the internet. I've taken the firewall off as I heard that was a solution with Windows but it didn't work. Any ideas?

i have the same problem. I have window 7 pc. I had to use internet to download link so i don't understand why it is not allowing me to use link or do set up. I uninstalled my previous bb desktop driver in hopes that would help. It didn't. I appreciate any help on this forum
