Ip address blocking

I have unlimited broadband access with bt. My children can no longer get on website www.moshimonters.com. It says it can't find the server. The website is not down because I rang a friend who got straight on it. Can bt stop my ip address connecting to it if it is high usage.

Hi Lesley,
There are some problems with accessing websites today - although it doesn't seem to be a BT specific problem (a number of ISPs in different countries are having the same problem), we're looking into it anyway just in case. Hang in there for another few hours and hopefully it'll be sorted out soon

  • IP address blocked from signing in to Skype

Hello everyone.  I have Skype version 6.21.0.104 on my desktop computer and I am now having trouble logging in.  I have done several chats, over the last few days, with Skype customer service and the chat I had with a representative today told me that my IP address is blocked from accessing Skype. The person said I needed to contact the manufacturer.  Does this person mean that I need to contact my internet service provider?  I am a bit confused.  I wonder if I accidentally denied Skype access to the internet.  I had this issue before on my laptop and I had to go in and remove the block, but I do not remember how I did that.  Please help.  I would like to be able to use Skype on my desktop computer again.
    Subject/title edited for clarity.

I just wanted to let everybody know that the issue has been resolved.  The IP address block has been lifted, my account is no longer restricted, and I can sign on with Skype on my deskopt computer again.

  • Upgraded to Maverick. Now cannot connect to wifi. All my other devices will connect. Have rest wireless hot spot switch and cable modem. Other devices still connect but MacPro does not. MacPro wireless is self assigning an IP address blocking access.

If you follow this video you'll see how to delete your WiFi AP from the OS, this will allow you to select it again which I feel will correct your problem.

  • IP Address blocked in SORBS database

A company I work for transferred their broadband service to BT on October 15th as part of a requirement for the BT ONE tariff plan.
Since then, we have had problems sending emails to some people (not all) as the email system says our address is a Dynamic IP address blocked on the SORBS database.
I have contacted numerous departments within BT, finally being put onto the IP Masters team, who said the block would be removed by last Thursday (bearing in mind this has been going on since the middle of October).
The block is still in place.  Does anyone know of any other way to force BT to get this blocked remove as its becoming a problem when they cannot send emails to customers and/or suppliers.
Error message reads: "< mail.calneleisurecentre.co.uk #5.5.0 SMTP; 554 RBL rejection: Dynamic IP Addresses See: http://www.sorbs.net/lookup.shtml?217.36.81.154>"

    Hi.
You may wish to post over in the business forums :-
    http://btb.lithium.com/t5/Forums/ct-p/forums
Clearly the problem is that SORBS believes the IP address range to be dynamic, not static. There are various reasons for this, BT has recently added this range to be static, or more likely SORBS is out of date.
SORBS is hated in many quarters due to their policies. That is not the fault of SORBS, but the people using their system.

  • New Address Blocks

    Hi Folks,
I'm aware that you cannot currently create new address blocks. The only solution if new addresses are required is to create custom fields to make up the address (correct me if i'm wrong). Is this capability currently on Oracle's road map?
    Thanks
    Oli @ Innoveer

I am not sure this will be in Oracle's Road map. Users can add more addresses from the Address child object for an Account or a Contact.
    There are some limitations here.
    1. Reporting is only available in Analytics subject areas.
    2. Address is not available in Import Wizard. (Web Services is available)
    3. Users cannot change the Primary flag for Billing or Shipping address.

  • Traditional Address block in numbers

Numbers does support drag and dropping a name from AB into a Numbers spreadsheet as long as the proper field names are typed in as column headings. So starting at top left if you typed in... Name Address Email all in separate Numbers columns, then drag and drop from AB will fill in the correct data.
However it only formats this information horizontally, for what reason I cannot fathom, NOT vertically like a traditional address block formation, like below.
    Name
    Address
    City State Zip
I have tried every which way I can to get this to work, but cannot. Any tips out there?
    Thanks, Russ

    Hello
When you peek an address in AddressBook, the fields are separated by TABs so it's normal that they poked in a row in a spreadsheet.
If you really need to store them in a column, use two auxiliary tables
one I name "pasteAddr" in which row 2 is used to paste the grabbed address
    one named as you want
in which cell A1 contains the formula:
    =IF(ISBLANK(INDIRECT(ADDRESS(2,ROW(),,,"pasteAddr"))),"",INDIRECT(ADDRESS(2,ROW( ),,,"pasteAddr")))
    Use fill down the column.

  • Address block not encrypted won't search web sites

address block not encrypted won't search web sites

Backup address book from inside app
Then trash in your home folder the address book folder
Located. Home / library / application support / address book
In lion u need to hold down option key and go under go menu in finder
    You will see library there.
    Then either restore backup
    Or.
    Let iCloud account repopulate it.
    Now works great.

  • MAC address blocking

Hi, need help on blocking a specific MAC address on an interface. On that interface it is cascaded to a hub.
    Config# mac-address-table permanent aaab.000f.ffef e0/2
    - is this the right command and can i list all the MAC address that is allowed to run? or there is a command to just block one MAC address and the rest is ok?
    OR
    Config# mac-address-table restricted static aaab.000f.ffef e0/2 e0/3
-almost the same as above but more restrictive

Which switch is this ?? What model number and the IOS version.
What I can think of is using 2 ways :
1 Configuring the MAC Acl and applying it to the same port but this block only non-ip traffic.
    2. Configure port security and secure you addresses as static and give the number of max-counts the same the as number of amc you want to allow which are connected to hub.

  • Stop white address block from showing.

How do get rid of the white block address from showing on screen ??
Can't post a pic to show it, that sucks too.

You can't attach a screenshot to the first post that starts a thread, but you can do that in additional posts.
So please post another reply and attach a screenshot to show your problem.

  • Outbound emails from one specific email address blocked by Exchange 2013

    Hi
We have a hybrid environment Exchange Online and are using Exchange 2013 as hybrid server. We have an application that submits emails to Exchange using SMTP and sends emails from [email protected] Since almost half of our user base is already in Exchange
Online, many of these emails which are generated on-premises need to be routed to Exchange Online. This configuration has been working for months. On 24/06/2014, the emails from this application stopped getting delivered.
On examination of message tracking logs, I found SMTP FAIL events - excerpt below.
ConnectorId             : Outbound to Office 365
    Source                  : SMTP
    EventId                 : FAIL
    InternalMessageId       : 39560943768623
    RecipientStatus         : {[{LRT=};{LED=550 5.1.8 Access denied, bad outbound sender};{FQDN=};{IP=}]}
Doing a search for the error in recipient status did not return anything but doing a search for "access denied, bad sender" did return results that suggested a scenario when a user in Exchange Online would be prevented from sending outbound email
after having been identified as sending spam - see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-GB/library/dn458545(v=exchg.150).aspx
It seems our on-premises Exchange 2013 server has enacted a similar block on our noreply address which sends out a lot of emails. I have been able to confirm that if the 'from address' is changed to something like [email protected], all emails from
    the application get delivered successfully.
I now need to find out how I can unblock our noreply address so these emails can be sent with the original from address.
Appreciate all help I can get on this one.

    Hi,
From your description, only one email address can't send messages from the application server. I recommend you check if there is any transport rule on Office 365 blocking this problematic email address.
What's more, please check your outbound spam policy, verify if there is any policy blocking this problematic email address.
For more information, here is a thread for your reference.
    Configure the outbound spam policy

    Hope it helps.

  • Can't send email - IP address blocked

Up until yesterday everything was fine.
Then, when I tried to send an email I got:
"An error occurred sending mail: The mail server sent an incorrect greeting:  *** Blacklisted at zen.spamhaus.org ***".
Checked my IP address and yes, it was listed as blocked.
Turned the router on and off to get a new IP address - same problem.
Reset the router - same problem.
    I am using Thunderbird v36.1.0
I have not installed any new programs.
I have not changed any settings.
Called BT helpdesk but they were just a frustrating waste of time.
    Any ideas please?

Well magically today, the Group Name populated itself with the recipients' email address when I tried sending it again. Perhaps it was an iCloud issue. I still can't access "Edit Distribution List' under the AB Edit menu though.

  • IP address blocked by firewall

My AirPort Extreme appers to be blocking my access to the hosting server of my mail and website: "Your connection to this server has been blocked by the firewall."  All other internet connections work fine and I can connect successfully to my website and mail if I plug my Mac's ethernet cable directly into my cable modem.  I do not have the firewall on my Mac turned on.   This problem began last week after years of working fine.
I had updated the AirPort to the latest software but then rolled it back (to 7.5.2) and reset factory defaults twice, with no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks

It is possible that your website/email ISP is blocking your AirPort Extreme Base Station by its MAC address. This could be why you are able to access these services when connected directly to your modem.
If you haven't done so already, I would suggest that you contact your ISP to see if this may be the case. A common reason for this is that their servers were bombarded by something coming from your network and they blacklisted you.

  • Login fails and IP address blocked when attempting to connect to PC upgraded from Win8.1 to Win10

Hi trying to connect to a PC recently upgraded to Win10-64. Login attempts return a "Login failed" message with Reconnect/Cancel options. After 3 (or so) attemtps returns message that too many login attemps and your IP address has been blocked. All my Win7-64 PCs connect ok. Win10 trouble?

I found out...Here's the thing: I had user credentials stored when updating to Win10. I removed this setting and logged in with Client with username and pwd, connection ok. I then went back and selected store credentials, and this time everything went well. So apparently it is a problem connecting with stored credentials after a Win10 upgrade. Or maybe it's just me.

  • Using Firefox 21.0. Using a Hotmail account "upgraded" to Outlook. How can I delete an email address that popups in address block but it is not in my contacts

    I use Firefox 21.0
    I have a hotmail.com email account.
    It was "upgraded" to Outlook.
I've noted that some email addresses that appear when typing an email address to create a new message are not in my People list.
How do I delete email addresses that appear when typing in an address for a new email but that email address is not in my People list?

'''''I've noted that some email addresses that appear when typing an email address to create a new message are not in my People list. '''''
Might be appearing as "form history". Try clearing your '''form and search history'''.
