IP address conflict on Windows 7 clients after change 3560 to 3650

Hi,
after a switch change 3560 to 3650 some Windows 7 clients show a popup with the message "IP address conflict". Because of using manual DHCP (MAC reserve an IP address) i would exclude the possibilitiy of using an duplicate IP address. After search i found this document:

I tried the command 
ip device tracking probe delay 10
on the 3650 sw. Till now there are no messages with duplicate IP addresses on clients which connected to 3650 sw.
But on on 3560 sw th command does not exist. Anybody who has a similar problem or an idea to solve the problem on the 3560 sw.
The command "sh ip device tracking all" on 3560 shows that ip device tracking is disabled.

    I am able to use internet connection from my lap hotspot, when the internet source is Public or private wifi.
    so I know the cmd window commands for hotspot and settings of client(sharing to hosted network client, assigning IP address etc.,)
    but the problem I am facing is slight different
    I am using my cdma wireless broadband datacard as my source internet connection(Reliance netconnect +)
    when I try to create hotspot for this, as usual I am able to create the hotspot and able to share the internet to hostednework client.
    but I am unable to set the ip address for hosted network client, if I try to set ip 192.169.137.1 and 255.255.255.0
    as soon as I close the window, the ip address also disappears
    when connect my android phone to that hotspot, it is able to connect but there is no internet connectivity.
    when I check the hostednetwork client for packet transmission, both sent and received packet is happening., I mean transmitting
    so what cause the failure in internet connectivity but success in hotspot connectivity?

    Hi,
    Please make sure the Ad hoc connection IP adress is at the same range with your local connection. In addition, how about recreate the ad hoc connection for test, please have a try.
    If problem persists, please use Network troubleshooter in Action Center to fix this problem for test.

  • Change client after changing system status

    first we registered our system as develop. after that we have to change its status to productive. on service.sap.com we changed the system status to productive. in transaction USMM we changed the system type to production. as far as i concern also we had to change the mandat status to productive.how can we do it? can you help me with the documentation or to write how to do it.

    I have changed the PI default client follow the SAP note 940309, and then all the transaction working fine, but then i realize that the xml transaction log save in both client. (001 and new client(220)).

    - Processing Statistics (Only new client 220).
    I used PI 7.0 SP 11.

    You mean XML messages?
    If Yes
    then you see the XML messages in both the clients.
    Since the program which selects the messages RSXMB_SELECT_MESSAGES
    doesnt take the client into consideration.
    If we see the code inside..we will find the following..
        LOOP AT rt_mandt INTO rs_mandt.
          SELECT *
            FROM (lv_master) CLIENT SPECIFIED
            APPENDING TABLE ex_msgtab
            WHERE (where_clause)
            AND   mandt      =    rs_mandt-low
            AND   pid        IN   rt_pid

    I use to have wireless infrastructure based on autonomous APs 1142n, auth w/ 802.1x and everything was fine.
    My Company decided to implement WLC 5508, and I changed only 2nd floor (2 APs) as lightweight and implement WLC over there as pilot testing...
    Now All persons here (around 35 clients) are complaining about disconnections, poor signal...
    Both APs are distant each other maximim of 15 meters... Our office has a medium open spaced room, with (20 X 15 meters) only 2 "Pilaster" in the middle of the room.

  • Unable to re-install Windows 7 after changing to Raid 5 array

    I have a 790FX-GD70 MoBo with a AMD PhenomII Deneb 965 Black CPU, 8gb G.skills DD3 1600 in 4x2gb array.  I originally loaded Windows 7 witn a 1.5TB Seagate Barracuda HD without any problems. Everything worked fine,Duh.  Then I decided to get more speed and stabilty for processing, I wanted to go to a Raid 5 or 10 array.  I added 3 more Segate Barracuda HD 1.5T ST31500341AS  to the original (same type drive).  I copied all of the drivers from the MSI website onto a USB 4gb drive and downloaded all of the info in Appendix C.  I assigned all for drives to the array with the intent to reload the Windows 7 OS after. The "problem" is that I can get all of the way in the Windows installation until the Re-boot and I get the message "The Installation was Canceled" and then a further message stating " Windows could not prepare the computer to Boot into the next phase of the installation. To install windows, restart the installation".  Of course I have tried to reinstall and continue to get the same message. Can anyone suggest a fix?  By the way it seems to think my portable drive is the C: drive?  I would really appreciate any help!

  • Cannot Access BIOS or Boot Windows 8 After Changing UEFI BIOS to Legacy BIOS

    Acer V7-751, 500G HD, Windows 8.
    I changed the BIOS settings from UEFI to Legacy BIOS when I was working on a problem. Now I can't even get into the BIOS (F2)
    or change the Boot Order (F12). All I get is an error "Operating System not found". I can boot with a Win7, Win8, or Win8,1 DVD. I suppose I could boot with just about anything else bootable as well.
    The problem seems to be caused because it's set to Legacy BIOS and Secure Boot Manager as default #1 boot device. Legacy BIOS
    can't boot a Win8 drive that has been installed under UEFI (Secure Boot). I have to change the BIOS back to EUFI to boot the WIn8 drive, but the only way to change the BIOS is from within Win8. It's a very flawed way of doing things but it's the way it is.
    Does anyone have any suggestions that they KNOW work. Please don't Google answers. I've already done that. And please (please)
    don't tell me to power on and press "F2" (or any other key) to go into BIOS. If I could do that I wouldn't be posting.
    Once again, I cannot get into the BIOS without going into Windows first. I cannot load Windows because the install was done
    under UEFI. I cannot change from Legacy to UEFI because I can't get into the BIOS.

    In this case, I flashed the BIOS with a newer version of the BIOS/Firmware and that returned everything to the Defaults (not Legacy BIOS). I believe you could also flash with the same version. I don't think you could flash with an earlier version, but no harm
    in trying it. if you've flashed the BIOS previously, you may be able to restore the previous copy. It all depends on the manufacturer and how they handle flashing the BIOS.
    I wasn't able to, but you may also be able to boot from a correctly formatted USB drive with another OS (Windows XP/Vista/7) because Legacy BIOS allows you to boot from external devices. Essentially, you need to be able to boot from a valid OS that is not on
    the Hard Drive that was configured using the UEFI BIOS setting.

    I'm trying to do SSO with the captioned setting, the outline can be simplified as below:
    windows cleint --> Win2003 DC --> Linux Oracle server
    Of course, the Linux server would issue kerberos ticket to the Windows client after which successfully authenticates with the Win2003 DC.
    I have problem doing test connection for both Windows client & Linux server when connecting to the database. Both with error "ORA-12638: Credential retrieval failed" when testing with Oracle Net manager. Listener & DB were both started.

    From what it sounds like you are wanting to sign out of iCloud with the "old" ID and sign in with the new. The following Knowledge Base article should help you with that issue:

    To change a secondary account to a primary account
    iOS 5 or later:
    Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
    Delete the secondary account.
    Tap the Back button.

    Delete the primary account.
    Add the secondary account that you want to be your primary account.

  • Windows 8.1 Hyper-V : IP address conflict on Guest OS

    Hi ,
    I have just installed Windows 8.1 and I want to move away from VMWare Player  and use Hyper-V instead.
    I have nevertheless issues with it on the networking side.
    Before setting up my VM, I have:
    - converted my vmdk to a vhd.
    - created a virtual switch in Hyper-V Manager.
    After that, i created the VM using the vhd and the virtual switch created beforehand.
    Once I boot up the guest OS (Windows 7), I have no internet connectivity on the guest OS, and it says : windows has detected an IP address conflict
    Also when I run ipconfig in a command prompt on the guest, I can see an ip address which is the same as my host OS (192.168.1.5) but then I guess that my host system takes the IP back as if i run ipconfig again the IP address is gone. 
    So I guess that my host and guest OS fight for the same IP. Also the message "windows has detected an IP address conflict" appears on the Guest OS.
    Also at times, the guest OS receive a strange IP: 169.254.99.175 which I have no clue where it comes from.
    Does anyone has an idea on how to solve the issue?

    Hi Dan,
    I guess that you use IP address reservation on your router (configuring your router so that DHCP always gives the same IP address for a particular MAC address).
    As both your virtual machines and host machine will appear on the network as having the same MAC address, they will both get assigned the same IP by the router.
    The solution is to turn off IP Address reservation. Another option is to assign a fixed IP instead of using DHCP.
    I now here have 3 VMs on my Windows 8 machine, some use fixed IP and some use DHCP and they all work fine. The important part is to make sure your router does not have settings to assign a particular IP for a particular MAC address.

    Thanks. Reservation is not configured in the router - I have the option of specifying a MAC address and assigning an IP, but the table is blank. I'm guessing it mayb defaults to it? It's a router from the local ISP.
    In the advanced option of the virtual adapter in Hyper VM, I selected a static MAC. For whatever reason, the VM now has it's own IP address, X.X.X.7. Host is X.X.X.3
    2 strange things though.
    1. I can only access the router config page (X.X.X.1) via the VM. On the host, each time I try to login, it kicks me out. It's a Cox branded Netgear router (from ISP). Once I shutdown the VM, I can access the router config page on the host.
    2. When looking at the list of connected clients in the router, it only shows the Machine name for the host - however, the corresponding IP address shown is that of the VM.
    Weird ...
    Anyway, not so concerned with having it work at home - it will be more so for at work.

  • Message Server Unreachable (after changing IP address at host)

    I changed the IP address in my server. According to note 403708, I updated the new IP address in /etc/hosts. The note also suggests me to change in /etc/services but I see no IP address for me to update.
    Later when I restart my sapinstance, I see the disp+work.exe is "Running, but Message Server Unreachable". I've also updated the IP address in SM59 but I see no change.
    This is what I got from dev_rfc.trc:

    Yes I'm on Windows, the path that i'm refering is:
    winnt/system32/drivers/etc/services
    winnt/system32/drivers/etc/hosts
    Anyway my prob is fixed now. Probably the problem is due to I did not restart the server after changing the IP. Anyway everything looks pretty fine now

    Would you please detail what you did by "changing a mail list name in Server end"? What is the mail list and what server?
    If you switch to Online Mode instead of Cached Exchange Mode, does the user see the change?

  • IP address in ISE live authentication after vlan change

    Hi all,
    on ISE live authentication dashboard we can see IP address of the client (known from FRAMED-IP-ADDRESS).
    But what about vlan change and the situation when client gets new IP address after relocation to different vlan.
    Live logs shows only the first IP address - client mapping (from the guest vlan), after authorization new vlan and dACL is assigned but logs don't include new IP address.
    session ID is the same all the time.
    so maybe ip helper or other trick?

    I added "aaa accounting update newinfo" and I'll see tommorow how it works with anyconnect and 802.1x.
    Meanwhile I think I must clarify what I meant
    Not all logs have IP address present in live authentication (this is MAB for test only)
    the situation with 802.1x and anyconnect is a bit better cause there are IP addresses but only from the first dhcp address assignment (authentication open with default ACL). Then if the policy changes vlan and the client gets new IP address from different scope we have wrong information in this log.
    but getting back to our MAB...
    details of this entry looks like:
    so this is probably the reason that no IP address is visible it was too soon for MAB to get this info and send it as framed IP address (according to this config command "radius-server attribute 8 include-in-access-req")
    nevertheless clicking the accounting details (from the 2nd screenshot)
    we see that this information is present
    so my first question is on which stage this column is fulfilled? only when "FRAMED-IP-ADDRESS" is send in radius-request? or from accounting?
    maybe ISE should dynamically modify this record after each accounting newinfo message?
