IP address error when try to print from GS4

I have set up ahome network so we can print from our phones or laptops wirelessly (no internet). The phones are Galaxy S4s, the printer is an HP Photosmart Plus B210 series, and the router is a netgear. The router has been reset to factory to erase the (forgotten) WEP key. All devices will find the printer. One of the phones prints fine, but when I try to print from the other I get a error message along the lines of "Using a static IP adress may cause printing issues, try setting up a dynamic IP." Both phones were purchaced and activated at the same time, the only dfference being my husband downloaded an app "HP All-In-One Printer Remote" while I wasn't here, trying to print a document. I have since uninstalled it thinking it was causing the error, but I still can't get his phone to print, The error dialouge box pops up with "OK' and "Cancel" options when you choose the printer, then it just sits there. I sent the document to my phone and it printed fine, so I don't think it is the document. Any ideas..? As far as I know, no configuration changes have been made to either phone that would cause something llike this...

Welcome to the HP Support forums. I gather that your Samsung Galaxy S4 prints to your Photosmart B210 series printer, yet your husband’s Samsung Galaxy S4 is unable to successfully send print jobs.
I’ve included the ePrint Job Did Not Print document for you to follow the trouble shooting steps. I know you’ve indicated that the phones should be configured the same, but if you husband is like my husband ....
If the steps in the document don’t resolve the issue, would you please post back with some further information:
What version of Android OS is running on your husband’s phone? How To Check What Android Version You Have by wikiHow
Have you set up the ePrint feature of the printer?
How are the print jobs being sent to the printer (by HP ePrint app, 3rd-party app, or forwarding an email to the printer)?
Is your husband connected to the same wireless network as the printer when he tries to print?

No solution, but a workaround. Try to publish the diagram. This creates a JPEG which you might be able to print.
I'd suggest that you file a Service Request on Metalink.oracle.com also.

Error when try to print web page

I had to have my PC reformatted and Adobe X Pro reinstalled today. I forgot to install Vers. 7 first but it reminded me to type vers. 7's serial no. since I upgraded from that to X Pro awhile back.
PROBLEM IS: When I right-click a webpage and pick Convert to Adobe PDF, nothing happens at all. But I can now print it with Edit, Print, Adobe PDF as the printer. I have rebooted and done the Repair.
Just wondering why "Convert to Adobe PDF" doesn't work??

Getting error when try to load from R3 to bw after the patches

we are in BW3.5
last day we applied patches to R3 system and BW system, and Now I am trying to load data into BW, it is failing, I am getting message says "Incomplete control parameter for commmunication with the BW system" Any idea?

Check the source systems definitions inn R/3 (we20, we21)
Ask the basis team to check everything is OK

When I try to print from web page I get "printer not activated - error code 30", printer works on Internet Explorer

When I try to print from web page I get a dialogue box "Printer not activated - error code 30" followed by a dialogue box "An unknown error occurred while printing". The printer works on websites when I use Internet Explorer. Also, if I copy the web page and paste it into a Word document, I can print a copy. This issue just started this week; I have not encountered this problem prior to this week. Please advise.

HPePrint gives paper mismatch error when I try to print from my android phone

I have 5x7 paper in the Photosmart 7520 printer and when I try to send a photo from my android phone to the printer, I get a paper mismatch error. Will it only print 4x6? Can I not change a setting somewhere?

When I print from my Mac, I don't get the error as I'm printing from an application like Lightroom and I can tell it the paper size. Don't get that opputunity when I print from my phone. By default, I think the printer assumes 4X6. Wish that there was some way to tell it otherwise as I'd rather use 5x7

Photoshop CS3 crashes when I try to print from Epson R2400

Hi,
For no reason that I can see, when I try to print from my Epson R2400, Photoshop CS3 crashes.
It was working fine up to yesterday with no issues.
I have re installed the drivers etc but no use.
I also cannot choose Printer Manages Colors, as it is now greyed out.
When the the Printer dialogue opens and I click on the Page Set up I get the Error that "Photoshop CS3 has encountered a problem and needs to close"
Any ideas please?

I understand now that the procedure is probably the reason.
I was just experimenting as LAB colours are colours we see through our eyes, while RGB, CMYK etc are "computer" colours and so I use LAB colours a lot, before switching back to RGB.
I normally switch to LAB mode and click on the Lightness channel, then play with adjustments of that channel. This time I decided to mess around and see what would happen if I removed all channels except the Lightness one....
Converting to greyscale for me is not enough unfortunately and LAB B+W provides much better contrast and tone than hitting CTRL+Shift+U to greyscale.
Again, I understand what you say, my point being though that Photoshop should not crash because I incorrectly remove the channels, perhaps a warning to tell me I can't do it would be better.
I'll pass this onto Adobe anyway.

What you are seeing is not PS, it's your printer dialog. PS does not have an ICM button.

Do not be confused. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is the official name of Lightroom. This is not CS5 that has stopped working. CS5 does not come on when you hit the print button in Lr.
It is Lr that has stopped working.

This is wrong. When you want Lr to do the color management, you select a profile in the Print Module, in the <Print Job> panel under Color Management / Profile.
In the screen shot below I have selected a profile for my HP printer and paper. And that's where you select a profile for your printer and paper.
You do not click on ICM in your printer dialog. You click there only when you want your printer to manage colors.
So try to print by selecting the profile in the print Module as indicated and do not click on ICM.
By the way: Which OS? Are you on a Mac?

I get a printer error every time I try to print from Pages 5.2

Over the past few days whenever I try to print from Pages, I get a printer error (on the printer) and it won't print. Pages is version 5.2 and I am printing from an iMac (2009) with Mavericks to an HP Laserjet. I am not the only one in my office to have this issue.

Pages 5.2 (update is most recent)

HT4356 My new HP printer is listed above as an AirPrinter ... But when I try to print from my iPad I get a message saying that there are No airprinters! Do I need to format/setup something first?!

My new Hewlett Packard printer is listed as an AirPrinter on the Apple website, but when I try to print from my iPad it says that there are No airprinters. I have a HP Officejet Pro 8500A and I had no problems printing to it from my Mac or Macbook pro. The macbook is wifi and the Mac is cable, I have recently had the printer replaced with an exact model. Since doing that I can only print from the macbook pro, when I try and print from teh mac it doesnt see the pages. It could be a 10 page document and it will just show two blank pages. I have googled the question and have tried deleating the printer and reinstalling without any luck. When I got the new printer I insalled all the latest drivers thats the only thing different.

Right click the printer in System Prefences - Print & Scan and use Reset Printing System... and then reinstall the printer, should take less than 5 minutes. Here is a photo showing how to Reset Printing System....
