IP adress from REMOTE_ADDR

Hi,
I'm having a problem , when I try to get the real IP client, not proxy.
I´m using owa_util.get_cgi_env('REMOTE_ADDR')), but this always return me
127.0.0.1.
How, I could get the real client IP adress.

I used this function : owa_util.print_cgi_env;
And I get : SERVER_SOFTWARE = Oracle-Application-Server-10g/10.1.3.1.0 Oracle-HTTP-Server
Does it means that I am using OHS?
But all of our settings are done within a different instance of Apache HTTP Server as we are on DEV environment. Our TEST uses a complete Application Server Environment.
If it is the case I am still getting :
HTTP_REFERER:
REMOTE_ADDR: 127.0.0.1
HTTP_X_ORACLE_CACHE_USER:
X-FORWARDED-SERVER:

No, this is not possible through iWeb. The best that you can probably do is to ask subscribers to email you, or maybe you can make a guestbook or something like that that subscribers can sign.
If you want to have stats for your blog, like how many subscribers, etc.... you should check out FeedBurner. You can get StatCounter-like stats from your feed by converting it to a feedburner feed. As far as I can tell, though, email addresses are not gathered.

My setup is a Vodafon Esaybox connected to ISP. Time Capsule is not able to extend the wlan of the easybox, neither airport express can do.
Only the option "connect to wlan" is succesful.
With airport express I was able to connect my Sony Bravia TV to the lan via ethernet to stream pictures, the TV set got an IP adress from the easybox.
With the time capsule the easybox dosn't find devices connected to the ethernet ports to submit IP adresses. The TV set get another IP adress (169.xxx.x.x.) in subnet mask 255.255.0.0 and I don not now where from.
My notebook is a MacBook pro.
Any idea????

Neverthe less, could there be the chance, that this feature could be implemnented with an firmware update?
That would appear to be a question for Apple to answer. You can make suggestions to Apple here:

If the AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule are configured to "extend a wireless network" they will provide additional wireless coverage....and...the Ethernet ports are enabled in this type of setup.
The "catch" here is that you must have an Apple router providing the network to be extended.

How can I import adresses from my Contacts?

After Updating to Yosemite and the latest Pages Version (5.5.2) I can't import an adress into my predifined placeholders via drag&drop from my contacts.
Is there any workaround or do I have to redefine my placeholders?
Or is this a feature, Apple has removed?

The new version of Pages doesn't support Mail Merge anymore.
Use the old version. It should be in an iWork folder in Applications.
Or, you might try this AppleScript application: https://iworkautomation.com/pages/script-tags-data-merge.html
It likely won't replace the drag and drop feature, though.

Report with default adress from Purchase order

I'm loooking for a report which can give me the adress infomation for each purchase order? please notice that I¨'m looking for the default adress and therefore do not have an adress number!

then you should try to think how SAP could find this address from table ADRC when you open ME23N and you would not have any link in purchase order item table
ADRNR field in table EKPO cannot be seen in ME23N.
the address number field in delivery address screen is actually EKPO-ADNR2.
if both fields do not have an entry, then it is the standard default which I explain earlier. and not manually entered/changed.

no 3 .umm, an email adress can have more than 2 '.'s in it,
example:
[email protected]
would be a valid email address.
To decide what a valid address is you'd need to parse it against the correct standard.
I think however that javax.mail.internet.InternetAddress does this for you, check out the docs:

even if it parses it may not be a valid address though in that it may not actually exist.

Problem with choseing email adresses from prompt.

When I write an email and write somethink in box "to" i have prompt from my adress book. When I chose one of them (by clicking mouse) and push enter I always have first promt although I chose second or third.
What Can I do with this? Do you have this problem too?

If you use the 'Contacts sidebar' to add names in your address book to a TO field, then there is no problem.
In a new Write message you can enable the 'Contacts sidebar'.
'View' > select 'Contacts Sidebar' or toggle the view using''' f9''' key.
Select the address book to show names.
Select name(s) and click on 'Addto TO' button or one of the other options.

Import mail-adresses from outlook express to adressbook

hi, i'm very new on mac and this forum, i just switched from windows to a emac (OS X 10.3.9).
i had in my outlook express on windows, about 250 adresses and want to import them in my adressbook on my emac. but this programm just accepts vCard or LDIF ....! I cannot find any program, Word, Excel, AppleWorks6 that can create this format.
now it cannot be possible that I have to type all my adresses into the adressbook manually!!!! because working on a mac one cannot import from another program!
so please help me and tell me that i am mistaken.

If you want your photos to end up in iPhoto, just do a normal sync. Who is Who adress from Position

Hi Gurus,
My client wants a Work Address to be displayed in the Who is Who field in ESS of the employees.
They dont want it be maintained by the employee and also they dont want this field to be taken from Infotype 0006.
They want this to be picked from the Position Address maintained in IT 1028.
Do we give this field specification in SPRO ->ESS -> Who is Who (Infoset) ?????
If we want this position address to be populated in Portal do we net to change the Infoset or do we neet any Enhamcement in Use Exit or do we have any other solution ??????

Import Adresses from earlier Address Book

I want to import all my addresses from a version of Address Book that i have backed up on an external drive. I am running Leopard now on my MacBook. On my external drive i have a backup of the entire user that i logged in as on my previous laptop (powerbook). This backup is one of a user running under Tiger.
How do i get my addresses from this external backup to show up in my Address Book running under Leopard?

If it wasn't saved as an Address Book Archive (which I don't think Tiger had) then there are a few options.
If you have the powerbook still functioning, Export the addresses as vCards and then Import them into the new MacBook that way. File Menu, Import> and Export>.
If you don't have any data in the new MacBook's Address Book, just copy the AddressBook.data file from the old user/Library/Application Support/Address Book/ folder to the new MacBook in the same location. When you open Address Book, it will update the Library from the old version.
If you do have data, you could move everything out of the user/Library/Application Support/Address Book/ folder to some location for safekeeping. Do as I mentioned in the second option, and then Export those addresses as vCards. Replace the contents of the Address Book folder with the original files, then open Address Book and Import what you just Exported. In this case, it might be easier to just export the current address book as an address book archive, move the old AddressBook.data file into the folder, the open Address Book, let it convert, then import from the Archive.
After writing all that, wouldn't it be great if address book could import its own file format.

Exporting Adresses from Windows Outlook Express, into Mac Adress Book

Hi.
I currently have an old PC (ew) and a new MacBook. I have about 200 adresses that i need to import into my new adress book on the mac. i tried exporting all the contatcs as csv's then emailed em over to myself, downloaded them, and tried to import in adress book for mac. Yet i continue to get the same message of how it is really not a csv. I Have a busy schedule and need all my contact info. Help Please.
