IP Camera Alarm Schedule

Hey,
I have a DH-140 and CH-140 IP Camera and i want their pics to be sent to a FTP server when alarm is triggered, but i want to send images on Off office hours and on schedule i can only specify one range of hours (i.e 0000 to 0600 but i can't set it to start when office closes) what can i do to fix this problem?

PROBLEMS (ISSUE):
I enable the trigger Event as you could see by pictures attached but i may choose ONLY 15 minutes Interval before detecting the next event. I need longer than that. Otherwise, if an employee come to the office and start to work cointinuosly, i will receive an alert every 15 minutes.
15 minutes is the longest interval available. Maybe you can set up a dedicated email account that receives the alerts and only check it each morning so you will know what time the first employee arrived? Then you can delete all other alerts.
Also, i don't know where to setup the fuction "Start to record as soon as someone come to the office or Start to record as soon as the motion detection system detect something"
What does it mean is in the trigger event SMB/CIFS?
For this it would be better to use the included software. You can set it up to record whenever there is motion or record continuously based on a schedule. For continuous recording, start the schedule at 9:55am and end it sometime after business hours end. This way you will record the first employee arriving and the last employee leaving.
SMB/CIFS is for sending the motion alert to a computer or Network Attached Storage. Instead of sending a 5 second video or .jpg images to your email address it will be recorded on the hard drive of the computer or NAS.
The sound you are hearing from the recorded video is probably some type of equipment running or air flowing near the microphone. The mic is very sensitive to this type of "white noise" and it is difficult to avoid. I think if you move the camera to another location you will find that the camera is not producing the sound.

How do I remove iCal Alarm scheduler?

Hi,
I'm having major problems with my iCal and basically after following advice from Apple I now have NO iCal! SO, I'm trying to download it from the website but it says it is not compatible with my computer.
So, I've bluetoothed the whole file over from my old mac and tried to add it only I can't completely delete the old iCal file as it says
"the operation cannot be completed because the item "iCalAlarmScheduler" is in use"
I can't just open up iCal and remove as it won't open up! So, does anyone know a way to remove the alarm scheduler without opening up iCal! So annoyed with Apple, I'm 2 weeks out of my warranty and they helped me over the phone but actually made it worse because before I spoke to them at least I had iCal (even if it didn't stay open long) now I have nothing!

yes, I would love to see some sort of tool that allows me to strip the invitations out of my calendar en mass (my reason is that past events with invitations are for some reason corrupting my calendar and inhibiting me from uploading it to MobileMe). If anyone knows of a tool that does this, please share it!

WVC80-N Cisco/Linksys Home Monitoring Camera - recording schedule

Hi there. I have 2 questions regarding the camera. First, in the web interface, there is a menu tab for setting the recording schedule. You can select "start recording now" or "define recording schedule". The only problem is that it gives you a starting time and date and an ending time and date. Is there a way to select a schedule such as 8:00-10:00AM every week day? It seems to only allow me 1 range.
I see on the monitoring software there is a client that allows you to set a schedule like that. However, I want to stay away from a client if possible. (one more thing to flake out).
Also, is there a good viewer/organizer for the video files created? It looks like if I just use the camera web interface, it just dumps the files into a directory on the NAS drive that I choose. Does the pc client software import these files?

You could consider using motion detection because it has more range compare to selecting the recording option; but then again the videos will only be sent either through email or ftp server. As for your 2nd query, there is actually no software (from linksys) that could organize or import the videos saved from this camera. Perhaps, there is a third party software will be able to do that.

PAIR CAMERA, ALARM PANEL WITH ROUTER WITH NO WPS BUTTON

How about with the Honeywell Lynx 5100 Alarm Control Panels.  Anyone have any experience with these units and connecting premise accessories to them via the HW add-on Wi-fi card?
We have an L5100-WiFi v4.9.7 adapter card installed in the alarm control panel.. We want to use the wi fi functionality to pair an HW indoor camera to it.
The camera says our router must support one button WPS in order for it to pair with the Alarm panel via the Wi Fi 2 minute window.
How do we do this  if the router doesn't support one button WPS?
Our Verizon router is a M1424revF router

There's no WPS support on the FiOS routers (for a good reason too), but you should still be able to get the camera manually connected to the network. If you could give a camera model number we'll see if we can help. Most cameras that I've seen have an Ethernet port, which is often used to connect the camera up with a wired connection, or to access the camera so that wireless can be configured manually instead of via WPS.

Device alarm halts/stops when start the camera on the blackberry device

Hi,
        I have set the device alarm using the AlarmUti.java . The Alarm works fine.
        But on my device when starts camera, Alarm stops immediately. On some other
        blackberry devices, if press any other hard buttons, the Alarm stops.
        How do we prevent this ? i would like to stop only when i use the AlarmUtil.java
        I appriciate your help in solving this issue.

Pre Clock changing time - Alarms repeating

I have about 10 daily alarms set on my Pre. I've kept to this alarm schedule for about 2 months now. After update 1.4 came out a lot of my alarms would go off twice within a minute. It seems as though my clock ticks back a minute every few hours. I'm not sure if this is to fix the previous problem of the time wandering off by as much as 7 minutes like my phone was doing before version 1.4. This double alarm issue is getting to be rather annoying.
eg: I have an alarm set for 12:30. The alarm goes off so I pick up my phone to dismiss it. When I look at the phone the time says 12:30, then jumps back to 12:29. I dismiss the alarm only to have it go off again when the clock says 12:30 again in a minute.
Please help as I have to keep to this schedule for another 4 months or so.

You're very welcome--- In fact, these are very GOOD questions and I happen to have an answer to each of them.
For Question 1. Normally , in the calendar they only ask for the time, not the time zone. So, the times will not change in your calendar unless you adjust them yourself.
Question 2. As in Question 1, You will have to adjust the time in your calendar to whatever time zone you are in.
Question 3. If you manually set your alarm to a specific time and you change time zones, your alarm will NOT adjust to the time zone you are in. That will only happen if you have the time zone set to automatic.
Lastly, If you do not have your time zone set to automatic then your time will not adjust at all. Therefore, you will not lose/gain any seconds.

Hi,
In the installation and administration guide you'll probably find some examples.
The Job Definition you need is SAP_AbapRun to run any ABAP.
You submit this, specify the parameters as desired, and scheduling information, and that should do the trick.
That is assuming you have already connected CPS to an SAP system.

ICal alarm malfunction

My alarms work fine if I happen to have the computer on when the alarms go off. But, if an alarm is scheduled to go off at 4pm, for example, for an evening event, and I turn the computer on at 4:30, the alarm does not go off. This has caused me a few problems with missed meetings.
I have the "turn alarms off when computer is off" box unchecked. Both iCal and iCal alarm scheduler are in my startup items. I have tried deleting all iCal plists, and the cache file, and restarting with no success.
What am I missing? any suggestions?

A Eureka! For some reason, on this Mac, if I check the preference box "turn off alarms when iCal is not open" it works fine. Now, if I have an alarm set to go off at 10:00am and I start up my computer at say 10:30am, the 10am alarm shows up just fine.
The wording on this preference is a bit confusing, but from other discussion comments, it seems that other Macs are working with the box unchecked.
Anyway, I'm a happy camper.

Camera Raw 4.6 Bugs

(Mac user) Double clicking on image in Bridge will only open Camera Raw (4.6) in Photoshop, even though Bridge Preferences are set to open image in ACR in Bridge. Previous version worked correctly. Using CS3 on an Intel Imac with OS 10.5.

You cannot install the Camera Raw plug-in anywhere that Lightroom will see and use it. The Camera Raw plug-in is for Photoshop and Photoshop Elements only. Lightroom does not use it. There is an upcoming update for Lightroom, version 2.1. It is currently available as a "release candidate", and the final version should be available shortly. It is through these types of releases that the new cameras are supported in Lightroom. If your camera is not supported presently, but you know that the latest version of Camera Raw supports your camera, then you can download the latest version of the DNG converter and convert your raw images to DNG files which can be opened in Lightroom. I believe your camera is scheduled to be supported in the next version of Lightroom. Have you tried installing the Lightroom 2.1 release candidate?

Scheduled job doesn't appear in Control center

I am facing a strange problem. I installed OWB 10g R2 and I have my target and source both on Oracle 10g DB. I created lots of mappings, and when it came to scheduling them, I installed Oracle Workflow.
In any of the OWB documents, nowhere it is specified that if OWB is already installed and Oracle Workflow Server is installed later, what are the steps to link them.
Then I created a schedule and spplied them to the mapping by editing its configurations. Then as per documents I checked in Control center. But, there was no job created and so didnt appear there.
I am wondering what can be the reason for this. I simply didn't get any documentation that tells that, what if the scheduled job doesn't get created? or how do you check from OWB whether the Oracel Workflow is properly working?
Please provide a clue!

ICal forgets alarms

Hello there,
Every so often, iCal forgets to display alarms. I have an alarm scheduled for a given time, the time passes, and the alarm hasn't gone off.
What I have noticed, is that if I then go to iCal's preferences, I see that the box "Disable all alarms" is NOT checked, but when I check it, and then uncheck it again, suddenly iCal discovers all the missed alarms and displays them immediately.
Any ideas?

RANDOM e-mail alarms in ical

I have a recent problem with ical sending me alarms at odd times. I received 14 e-mail alrams today alone, all for events that were last year. All of these events had one week reminder alarms scheduled back when they were pertinent, but none of them are in as recurring events, so I am receiving a "reminder" about an event that happened last year! This problem started after Leopard upgrade, but has seemingly gotten worse. I do sync with an ibook that is still running Tiger, but have checked the events on that machine too and none of them have alarms scheduled.

I am updating/following up on my previous post. I have deleted the plist file as suggested and after a few restarts the machine is still sending all of my previous/old email reminders.
Edzso - I have set up reminders for my friends' birthdays so they are in fact recurring. I can remove the reminder by changing it back to None, but that really doesn't "solve" the problem...that's working around it. I'm not attacking you personally by saying that, I'm just pointing out that this problem really still exists after upgrading to Leopard. I also don't have any Automator scripts that I use at all...but good thinking on that one!
I haven't installed the iPhone SDK kit, so I cannot speak to what another post has stated.
I have also tried to go into my iCal preferences and delete all events older than "x" days and I set that to 15 days. iCal doesn't end up purging any of the previous events...it's as if they're locked in there unless I physically go through and delete all of them manually. The time invested to fix that would be insane.
If anyone has any other thoughts it would be greatly appreciated...but the further I dig, the further I see this is something that is not independent on my machine...but it rather an issue people are having after installing Leopard.

How do I erase mountain lion and restore lion on an iMac 27 thats new

Due to compatiability issues with security system I need to go back to 10.7.4 that came with computer. After update to 10.8 I have a lot of hardware that is 10.8 compatible that no longer works. IP cameras , alarm system ect.

If this is on a 2011 model o[r mid 2012 that came with Lion originally boot to the Internet Recovery system. That is booting the computer over the internet.
Hold down the Command+Option+r keys until you see a spinning globe in the center of the screen. Once the Recovery system fully loads use Disk Utility to Re-Partition the drive as one partition. you must do that to completely remove Mt Lion and the Mt Lion Recovery HD partition.
Once that is done exit DU and select Reinstall Mac OS X. Lion will be downloaded and then the install will reboot the system and start the install of Lion.

*In my computer when viewing the properties of the zen by right clicking the icon (which is not enabled by default) the battery status only show the value when the player was first plugged in and does not update to show a higher charge after time, even after closing and reopening my computer, to view the updated status you must unplug and re plug in your zen.
*When a custom background is set and you are viewing a full a screen image and you press back, the background image flashes for a second on the screen before stuttering and flashing back to the thumbnail view
