Ip Centrex failure solution -- Urgent please advice
Dear All,
Can anyone provide me a solution for the below case ?
According to the above layout, here's a scenario for Hosted PBX or IP centrex.
Incase my exchange goes and lose connection between my Service provider, ofcourse my extenstions will not able to communicate with each other.
I need a solution by which it doesnt matters if the connection is lost bby atleast i can dial internal extensions.
For example
Here IP PBX is hosted to our Service provider, and connected to the customer (ABC Corp. Ltd.) having each floor extensions (ext 100, ext101, ext102)
Suppose if exhange goes down and the connection is lost with the Service Provider (SIP trunk). in this case the extension 100 will not be able to dail 101 or 102 and vice versa.
Please advice that through which solution connecting the VOIP phones will it allow to work internally within the office?

This is one time Company report where they want to keep in their server. we have this report by branches in Excel sheet, which works for them. we need a report for the whole company (say for eg, ATT). We want report of all the employees of multiple branches of ATT. What is your best advice to give me a report for whole company employee report ?

UCCX is licensed differently than IP IVR. UCCX seats are purchased, and these include multiple features.
A seat provides all the licenses required for all combinations of deployed features. I am wokring on ORA_FFI and WEBUTIL packages, but not yet reached the conclusion. Do you know any such Oracle Interfacing packages or stuff where in we can interface 10g Form with the .Net made dll.
Basically I have to build an interface which makes .net dll talk with our Oracle 10g Form.
dll will be on every client keeping into consideration the 3 tier architecture.
Some relevant documents or links will also help.

Containers in practice � please advice
Hello forum users,
I am finishing computer science studies this year and I need to create thesis. I�m interested in Solaris containers and would like to describe this technology. I want to create a project that uses containers to do �something useful� and provide some functionality, not only shows how to create zones and assign resources.
I have an Ultra 10 with Ultra Sparc IIi 300MHz CPU , 512 MB RAM and 20 GB HDD available. Does someone have any idea how to show practical use of containers on such machine?
Other solution I think about is just to design containers without implementation, so I would not need any hardware. But Unfortunately I do not have administration experience to decide about resource allocation.
Could you please advice if you have any ideas about using containers on Ultra 10, or if you can provide any suggestions for using Containers in practice.

First, I hope you have a faculty adviser who's on-board with your plan -- it will make things must easier and they can provide a lot of guidance about how to proceed and what to work on.
As for zones, I would probably look at doing a work that is mostly theoretical (though you'll need to do some real world work to get enough experience to be able to write this with any sort of authority). I'd aim for a piece on where zones came from (eg. BSD chroot jails with a smattering of java sand boxes and VM's in general) and what they gained and what they lost in that process (maybe even a bit on how much of the OS they had to touch/modify to support it -- eg. the scope of work). If you've got any contacts who can introduce you to any of the key players in zone development (again, where your faculty adviser comes in handy) you might include some interview material, but I'd wait till you understand the technology very well before you go that route so you can ask good, meaningful questions.
If you want something more "down to earth" (if zones can ever be described that way...) then I'd probably pick a common task that computers do (web/application serving, databases, etc. -- whatever you might have some background in already) then describe your implementation of that in a zone, what challenges it presented, limitations and advantages it has. For example: we're very interested in the possibility of giving DBA's root access to their own zone (probably just in development) so they can take care of day-to-day root.sh runs on Oracle and such but we know there's going to be lots work in management of resources that will fall to the admin group which makes us less excited...

Free characteristics Functioanlity is not working please advice

I got an problem in the report with the multiprovider ZCOPA_M01
If I open the report for this multiprovider and there are 2 default characteristics displayed in the query and after removing the drill down for those two characteristics and Now IF I go to Free characteristics and do an drill down on one of the characteristic (for example: Geographical Type)and place an filter on the Geographical Region (Geographical region is also an free characteristic) now I find no values in the set filter screen.
But when I again remove the drill down on Geographical type and do an drill down on geographical region and set an filter on geographical region then you can see all the values...(In filter screen)
Can any one please advice me for the same. How to get values in the filter screen for this report with the Multiprovider ZCOPA_M01

Go to the definition of a Master Data Object. In its Attributes tab, there is a column of navigation on/off. There you can either swith on or off the attribute as a navigational attribute. After converting into navigational attribute, you can see the type column is changes to "NAV" from "DIS".

Firefox 6.0 doesn't open pdf-links after clicking on "open pdf". I frequently need to do literature searches and I need to view pdf files in the browser. After clicking on the pdf - link of a file the main options are to open or download the pdf. Every time I try to open a pdf-file a blank page and an error message appears saying the file would not be supported or is damaged. IE, however, opens the file all right. I tried various changes in the security and cookie settings without success. Please advice.

This document is almost certainly a dynamic XFA form. Unfortunately, our mobile Reader does not support displaying or filling such forms. The application that produces this form embeds this message into the document so that non-supportive viewers (like ours) will display this "error" page when the document opens. I do realize that this is confusing and I would like to add some additional detection to our Reader for this case. However, we've avoided doing this for fear of confusing users even further. Your feedback helps though. Hopefully we'll find a way to detect this case and present a better message to the user like: This form is not supported by the mobile version of the Adobe Reader. Please open and fill it on the non-mobile version of the Adobe Reader for Windows, Linux or Mac OSX.

I have saved all my datas of my old iphone on itunes and icloud. I got a new phone 4s that I connected to itunes in order to load it and sync with my old datas. but I don't konw how but when itunes sync my new iphone i did not take my old datas. at the end of the sync process, I got an iphone totally virgin, but none of my previous apps, neither contact neither calendar neither anything. what happened? did itunes erased all my previous datas?? i hope not but if it's the case, can I recuperate my old datas through icloud? please help because as a lot of us, all my life is in this iphone.. This morning Find My Phone alert went off on all my devices connected to my Apple ID at the same time, is this a bug or should I be worried that my id is hacked? I didn't have Find My Phone app installed on many of these devices. Please advice. Thanks in advance.
If you have enabled Find My iPhone/iPad on your devices, any one with access to your Apple ID and Password can Play Sound on your devices.

When I am restoring backup data for my iPhone 4 in the end of back up restore it show error message " back up can't be restored" , please advice what I can do to restore my backup
That usually means that there is something wrong with the backup and it cannot be used. You can try restoring the backup again, but if you continue to get the same message all you can do is restore to a different backup, if you have one.

IPhone 4 iOS 4.3.3 notifications appear off centre/mostly off screen.
This only happens for facebook and a few select apps. I know the Facebook app is buggy but this only happens once in a while and usually when playing a landscape mode game (orientation locked or unlocked doesn't make a difference.)
