IP commmunicator

I'm running v.2.1 for the ip communicator. Every since I upgraded from 2.02 I have had a lot of complaints from users stating that they can't dial 800#. all other numbers work. If I un-check the "Optimize for Low Bandwidth" it works. user are able to dial toll free numbers. the problem is this can only be a temporary fix. I need a more permanent fix. Can any give me any insight on this?

You will get a message like that you're call cannot be completed as dialed, please hang up and try again.Doesn't look like you have a pattern for dialing 411. When dialing 800 numbers are you dialing a leading 91 to hit the 9.@ Route Pattern?
Probably will need to see detailed CCM traces from the CallManagers that the test phone and the MGCP GW is registered to. This will give an idea of what is happening.

Java sun one commmunity edition

Hi-
I am looking for a cheap windows IDE that has GUI and
database capability. Sun one seems to contain these things as I read
through the features. One IDE I played with a little (years ago) was
Delphi. Does sun one community edition come with a toolbar for
draging and dropping pre-built items like a database grid, check boxes,
radio buttons, combo boxes, push buttons etc.?? Does it come with
predefined events like form open & close or for database before post, on delete,
after post etc. I know that is lots to ask for something that is free which
brings me to a final question. If I use this tool and profit from using it am
I violating a license agreement? I have 2 semesters C++ programming at
college and cant find a cheap tool in C++ for windows (widely used).
Borland and Microsoft are both expensive for C++ GUI.

Commmunication Between two Components

Hi ,
I am developing a project of having two components in it. I want to communicate each component with other one. Both components should be communicating with each other.
I am able to communicate from Component one to Component two . But ! unable to do the same from Component Two to Component one. It shows the following error.

Child2Parent-component-communication: apply interface eventing (child component exposes interface controller event, child component defines NO cyclic component usage dependency to parent component, parent component subscribes own event handler to event of child component's interface controller, child component fires interface controller event at runtime and can also pass object references as event parameters).
For data transfer across component borders apply interface-context-mapping
1) exernal context mapping: data context in parent component, child component externally maps its interface context to it.
2) interface context mapping: data context in child component, parent component maps own context to interface context of used child component.

Batch data commmunication using BAPI

I am new to abap. I can do BDC using direct input and batch session.Now I am want to do that using BAPI. can anyone explain me how do we do this with a detailed description or provide me link from where I can learn this concept.

A BAPI is just a function module, so if you know how to call a function module, then you know how to call a BAPI. BAPIs are use to wrap business logic, usually a complete business object, like "Create Sales Document". You need to understand the interface of the BAPI to know what it will need to process. You can check out documentation about the BAPIs in the Bapi browser, transaction BAPI. Do you have a specific BAPI that you are looking to use? What transaction are you doing using BDC, there may or may not be a corresponding BAPI.

How can I communicate the instrumnet in labview using RS485 interface?

I am using NI USB RS485 to connect the instrument, but I donot have instrument driver,I have to use VISA write and read data. the connection and serial setting are correct, I used a software ModScan32 from win-tech, the communication works well. I want to use the labview as my platform, How can I use VISA? please give me any clue or sample code. the instrument has a Modbus commmunication protocol.ThankS!

Hi,
VISA allows you to send/receive string data to/from the instrument. Serial communication with RS-485 is just like RS-232, so any of the labVIEW examples on serial will work. For serial you basically need to use VISA Read and write, that's it.
If you need information on what to send, you can check out the modbus website (www.modbus.org) and the documentation for the device.

LDAP multidirectory with sub-domains

Hi,
i have some difficulties using LDAP COM object that comes with the IP phone Services SDK. I would like to search the whole AD, which has multiple subdomains. I would like to search the whole directory structure, with the base: DC=company, DC=country, without specifying any particular OU. However, the connection with this kind of directory base configuration fails (the COM object is not created), so i can not search the whole directory, only specific OUs. Is there any way to achieve searching the whole directory structure?

When the VPN tunnel is broken or the first domain controller of the DSfW parent (first) domain is down, is the complete of eDirectory tree (all the partitions) still available (reachable)to the domain controllers of the DSfW sub-domains (child domains). You can place additional read-write replicas on the other DCs (for the partitions that are missing) if the complete eDirectory tree is not available when one of the above two conditions occur.

NetBoot & NetInstall across subnets

I've recently begun deployment of our NetBoot servers within our organization. Everything is working as expected, but I'd like to be able to NetInstall across subnets without having to add a helper address to the routers. Basically we're in a large organization and getting rules added to the routers is a lengthy and unlikely scenario. That said, I've seen a few articles regarding the ability to NetBoot across subnets using OF or EFI.

I've verified NetBoot is working on the same subnet, but I've encountered an issue when NetBooting from different subnets. I've tested three systems (iBook G4, PowerMac G4, & Intel MacBook), but only the Intel system is able to communicate. If I look at the server logs, the MacBook is able to consistently communicate, but there are no log entries for any of the PPC attempts. Thus, PPC systems time out when attempting to access the server.
I'm not using any NetBoot, DHCP, or MAC address filtering, so I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm pretty much using an out-of-box configuration with all the larest updates (10.4.7). As far as the client, I've used the NBAS tool, as well as manually configured the systems using Terminal (sudo nvram boot-device="enet:10.x.x.x").
Anybody have any additional input regarding the ability to NetBoot across subnets? Any idea why an Intel system would NetBoot, but PPC would not? Again, filtering has not been enabled.

Yes, each system points to the appropriate image based on architecture (PPC, Intel). The problem is that the server never seems to acknowledge the PPC systems. If I boot an Intel system, I can see the communication data in the server logs. The PPC systems never even register an entry in the logs. It appears as though they never commmunicate at all. Even if a PPC image is specified and an Intel systems boots to the NetBoot server, the commmunication is still logged.
I need to run some additional tests, as well as a packet capture. Perhaps a packet capture will yield some useful information.

Receiver communication chanel error in File conversion scenario

Hi ,
I am trying to implement a file-xi-file scenarion in which the input is a tab delimited file...The Sender channel works fine.
The problem i am facing now is that the receiver commmunication channel throws an error in adapter monitoring..the error says ...

You have to give in you field content conversion either the paramter 'field seperator' or 'fieldFixedLengths'

If you have not made an entry for fieldFixedLengths, this is the only specification to identify the individual columns in a row.
If you made a specification for fieldFixedLengths, the extra length of the separator is taken into account, but no further consistency checks are performed.</i>

I started Photoshop Elements 10 and followed instructions to update the Inspiration Browser. After clicking download and install nothing happens.

I installed Photoshop Elements today and ran into the same problem following the instructions to update the Inspiration Browser---nothing happened after clicking "Install Now" on the installation link. Updating Adobe Air to the latest version got around the problem for me. I was offered to update after running Adobe Commmunity Help for the first time. The update took my already installed version two to version three, and after that clicking on "Install Now" began an installation process that insalled the Inspiration Browser. Hope this helps.

CS4 - Getting error when opening a .gif file - file-format module cannot parse the file.

I am getting this popup error when trying to open a .gif file:
"Could not complete your request because the file-format module cannot parse the file."
This comes up every time I try to open a .gif file. Even if I make a .gif file (like the image included in this post), save it and then try to open it again, I get the same error. I tried reinstalling CS4, but the error is still there. I have also done the reset on start-up and nothing. Some have suggested that I open it in (Windows XP Pro) MS Paint and then save it again. Did it and this does NOT work for me, either.
I know it's a Photoshop problem because I can see this file everywhere, except Photoshop. It will open here, there and everywhere, except for Photoshop.
I've searched the Adobe Commmunity and it looks like no one has come up with a fix for this. I'm just currious after 5 years with this problem, has there been a solution?

Message ID is disabled in Communication Channel

Hi,
Scenario is JDBC to idoc/file.
In commmunication channel monitoring it says
1/17/11 2:38:22 PM 0da4686f-f398-425d-2793-c608667865dd Polling interval started. Length: 60.0 seconds
1/17/11 2:38:22 PM 0da4686f-f398-425d-2793-c608667865dd Processing finished successfully.
but i am not able to see any messages in SXMB_MONI and also message ID in communication channel is greyd out.ia m not able to open the payload nor audit log.
and the other thing is everytime its generating the same message ID for every 60 secs of poll interval.
Can someone help me in resolving this issue.

What I understand from the Query is : First it will filter data from tr_log table based on ""date_manage is null"" Check, Now Filtered data of tr_log is compared with data of wh03_h based on """a.seq_id = c.seq_id """ Check ...Which is a inner join
1. So what i would suggest is run your Query in actual Database and check , see if it is fetching any number of rows ...
Might be Inner join is creating problem ... against seq_if of C table might be there is no such seq_id Data in a table...
So check this thing .. is your query fatching data ...
2. Or for testing first use a simple your Query .. Like

a.order_num,

and execute it again and again 2-3 times , and check wether data is populated in payload or not...
So by this way you came to know .. Problem is with data or adapter is giving problem ....
3. Check for adapter lock also .. and yes Database table lock also .. If something is updating table and at the sametime you will try to fetch any data from same table .. table will not return anything .. infact it hangs untill update query execute commit ...
