Ip profile at stuck at 7.99mbs whist router synced...

Good evening,
I have been migrated to adsl2+ in the last 3 weeks. My tp link router was causing me problems in the first week so i have swapped back to my homehub. The router stats show:

On the wholesale test my ip profile is giving me only 7.99mbs. Is my profile stuck! The connection has been stable for 10 days and thought my profile would go up to allow me full speed. Do i need my profile resetting to obtain full sync speed???

    it appears after training my connection i seem to be getting a roughly stable connection rate of 5200kbps but for the past 4 days i have been stuck on a rather low download speed so wondering whether my profile is stuck?
    it appears that im also staying on a 12 SNR where before on adsl1 i was on a 9 SNR.
    out of curiosity the latency type still says fastpath but my ping in games is pretty much how it was with interleave on, is this normal?

  • My IP Profile is stuck at 5mbps

    Good Morning,
    I have had a stuck IP profile for the last couple of days and it is beginning to annoy me. 
    I called up BT India yesterday evening to report it and they said they would resest it and told me to restart the hub in the morning which I did this morning but there has still been no difference in the IP profile and the speed that the hub is syncing at has actually dropped slightly.

    your profile is not stuck at 5mb as that is the correct profile for your current connection speed  see here 
    check profile
    to get a higher profile you need to get a higher connection speed

    When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive.  It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas?  I'm wondering if restarting the computer might help but have been afraid to do so in case it would make it harder to recover anything...I was looking at this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4211589?start=0&tstart=0 in the hopes that it might have a helpful suggestion but it's definitely a different scenario.

    You may want to take a piece of paper and carefully slide it into an open slit by the power button. Be very careful since you don't want anything stuck in there.
    You can always contact Apple for a replacement.

  • I think My IP Profile is stuck at 0.25

    I reported a fault at BT with my broadband being very slow anyway they found nothing wrong at the exchange and suggetsed an internal wire check - This I have have done and sorted out the new house telephone wiring - what a mess. I now have a fully working phone line - nice and clear (17070 line test) and my modem has stayed connected for over a week. 
    I fitted a new mastersocket with filtering and connected this direct to the external NTE. So the wiring is now as best it can be. I have had a stable connection for over a week but the IP profile hasn't changed and I am still stuck on the lowest IP profile .
    When I tried the indian call centre they went through all the tests. The phone fault is not shown as resolved but the broadband connect is shown as under investigation - the fault is shown as the BT Retail Servers. It's shown this for the last 2 weeks with nothing changing.
    My line stats and speed test results are below - I used to get 7mb download now is predialup speed. Should I be doing anything else as I am stuck. I don't really want to return to Indian again and go through the same old tests.  Years ago when I was with the BE network at a different address they resolved this type of thing direct over the phone.

  • Help! My IP Profile is stuck at 2 Mbps

    Hi all,
    I hope someone here can help me. I've noticed that downloads have become alot slower and youtube videos stopping/starting frequently. I've went to the bt broadband speed checker site and it shows that the down-stream speed is 8.13Mb but the IP Profile is 2Mb. When this was checked the line had been up for 13days. I've since rebooted the BT Home Hub3 in the hope is would kick the connection but its still stuck at 2Mb.
    Is there a way to kick start my connection so it works at the speed it is able to work at? See below for screen grabs..

    Hoping someone may be able to help. Despite following the recommendations on this forum I am still struggling to improve my IP Profile and I don't believe my low bandwidth is due to a bad line.

  • I think my ip profile is stuck.

    As the title says i have been having trouble with download speeds for about 2 weeks. Before it was at 7 mbps+ now not even 2 mbps..

    After BT have resolved the fault with the line (4th Jan). The broadband speed still isn't as fast as it used to be, normally around 5/6mbps.
    The fault existed for around 14 days, how long before the line settles down and i can expect my download speed to pick up or is there anything else that could be affecting the speed?

    your profile is at 253 becauce your connection speed is only 288.  you ned to get your speed higher to get a higher profile not the other way round.
    As you cannot find your modulation I cannot be certain you are on 21CN but I think with all the disconnections you have had that your line is now in a banded profile (nothing to do with ip profile) to stabilise your line and once stable for 3+ days the banding will be removed and your connection should return to normal.
    If you get to 3+ days and speed still 288 then contact the mods to get them to get you out the banded profile  http://bt.custhelp.com/app/contact_email/c/4951

  • Profiles get stuck on terminal servers due to Z@??.tmp files

    Running 2003R2 patched to the latest everything, get user profiles that won't unload (we are using UHPClean) due to tmp files left in documents and settings\local settings\temp that start with Z@??.tmp. Been reading articles on inet, looks like they are from adobe - maybe font files, i followed all their recommendations - removed unnecessary plugins, tried running a logoff script to delete the tmp files - still no solution. the files are locked and can not be deleted, I have to reboot the terminal server and manually delete the files. If I don't reboot and manually delete the files the users keep getting new directory folders under users and computers - example first time user logs in c:\documents and settings\jsmith if he prints from outlook a pdf file it creates Z@??.tmp files that are locked. when he tries to get off the terminal server it hangs for awhile and then finally gives up on deleting the files. the next time the user signs onto the terminal server it sees a profile already out there so it creates another profile folder like jsmith.domain if they print a pdf from outlook and then get off the terminal server, it hangs and leaves the tmp files out there, then when they sign on they get a new profile folder like jsmith.doman.001

    May very likely be related to server use. If you are indeed using Acrobat on a server, read the EULA carefully. Unless you have a special license with Adobe, server use is not permitted. You should install Acrobat on each machine that it will be used on with a separate license for each machine.

    My connection seemed slower than expected so Ii ran the speed test which achieved the following results.
    Download speed achieved during the test was - 1766 Kbps
    For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 400-2000 Kbps.
    Additional Information:
    Your DSL Connection Rate :8128 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
    IP Profile for your line is - 2000 Kbps.
    I will contact the mods to reset my IP Profile as suggested in other replies and let you know what happens.

  • No profiles were found in the registry. Outlook sync problem.

    Hey guys, sorry to bother you. I've been searching for hours now to no avail. I recently reinstalled my OS on my laptop. (Xp Pro) After installing device drivers and apps, i set up my email. So good so far.  I then installed my BB Desktop Manager and appeared to install correctly. Now, When I try to add Outlook as an app to sync with it says, "No profiles were found in the registry". I'm stuck at this point. Any help or links would be most appreciated.

    After syncing facebook friends with contacts, some of the profile pictures in contacts are replaced with a blue square.
    Any ideas?

    Greetings. Allow me to expand, please. I downloaded pictures from internet, as a collection with different themes directly from Internet. I only downloaded jpeg files or images. I organized my themes by folders on my desktop, then I copied some of them in a small 250gb external hard drive… But that´s just incidental.  Whenever i had a folder of images that I wanted to play as a presentation, I just dragged the folder to the Iphoto main page and Iphoto just copies them and makes a file under the same name as the original folder. Of course I also have images of my own production, which are my main concern. But threee or four times, Iphoto said that I had inconsistencies in my pictures and I just had to agree to fix them. This operation could take up to a couple of hours por more...
    But since I installed Yosemite, this glitch or question of inconsistencies, has not happened again, but somtimes, as I scroll through the folders in Iphoto, to edit some of the images or delete them, some of them become just a dotline square… I cannot see the image anymore, and when I do a presentation of the folders, these blaced out images appear in the show, as a black square or screen.
