.ipa from builder V28 always failed to install

Hi,
I have problem to Install my reader on my testing iPad with OS6 & OS7,
i already build my reader form Adobe DPS V28, and download the .ipa with my developer certificate, and before i submitted to appstore i want to try to testing, but everytime i try to Install and sync to my ipad it always failed, did i do something wrong when i build the reader?
Thank You

Does the mobileprovision file you used include the iPad's UDID? If not, you can't install the app on that device.

    Hi Romantilizer,
Hook your phone up to iTunes on the computer you sync with and do your update from there. This is a robust iOS release, and doing it OTA is not always successful. I tried on my iPhone a couple of times, and it aborted the update twice. Did it via the Mac, and it was fine.
It takes a bit of time, so hook it up, make sure it is updating your phone, and then find something else to do for a couple of hours.

    Hi EarlT,
If you are having issues updating iOS on your iPhone over the air, you may want to try updating it directly from iTunes. You may find the following article helpful:

  • PE 9 always fails when installing shared technologies.

I even paid for it (I know theres no diffrence) but I always get the same error (Adobe Premiere elements failed to install shared technologies. Rolling back changes). I have windows 7 x64 And after 3 HOURS of waiting of the phone for a rep, I decided not to contact them for any info. PE 7 installed fine, but they don't work on windows 7.

Use task manager to see if you have any other Adobe software running in the background - Adobe Bridge is often the culprit for these installation errors. If you find anything running then use End Process.

  • Update OSX 10.2.8 Build 6R73 repeatedly fails to install.

    Hi,
I have an elderly but beloved iBook, 900Mhz Power PC G3 with 640 Mb.
I have just replaced the failed hard drive and I have used the disks that came with the iBook to install OSX 10.2.1. I have successfully installed some updates e.g. Quicktime 6.2, Safari 1.0 and Battery 1.1. However the major Mac OSX Update Combined 10.2.8 Update Build 6R73 (100 Mb) has failed after several attempts.
The message says unhelpfully "The installation encountered a problem".
I have successfully run the iBook Apple Hardware test SW version 1.2.4.
    What now?
As always any advice will be treasured.
    Thanks

It's been a long time since I encountered this so bear with me--lost a few brain cell to some darned fine microbrews since then!:
Some G3 Macs did not take to the "big leap" of going from the Jag base (10.2.1 in you case and 10.2.3 in the case of my retail install set). We often had to bring the OS level up gradually.
    To get one of my G3s fully updated after an Archive & Install. I ended up doing this via downloads, not automatic updates;
base: 10.2.3 from retail install disk set
step 1: d/l and install 10.2.4 incremental (not "combo")
    step 2: d/l and install 10.2.6 incremental
    Step 3: d/l and install 10.2.8 combo
There was an older build of 10.2.8 that was a beast but I think it's been off the servers for years. You should be OK with build 6R73. As your base is lower than mine, you may need to find 10.2.2 and 10.2.3 incremental updaters also.

  • T61, Vista Business: 42 updates always fail to install

I am trying to update Vista Business that was preinstalled on my ThinkPad T61 (7659D22). I managed to install SP1, followed by a bunch of updates, then -- but only after several attempts -- SP2. Once I had installed SP2 and rebooted, it told me that there were 47 more updates, many of them described as important security updates. BUT only five of them installed; the remaining 42 have resisted all attempts to install them. I downloaded and ran Microsoft's System Update Readiness tool, but that did not help. The next step, according to M$, is to do a Repair Installation using an original Vista DVD, but of course I do not have one: all I have is the R&R partition on the hd and the recovery CD's I made.
    Help!!

    Hello,
I'm no longer running Microsoft Windows Vista on any of my computers here, but have you tried downloading and installing any of the updates one at a time to see if the problem is due to a specific issue with applying one?

  • Why is it that every time there's an update, my creative cloud always fails to install?

This is the 4th time it is happening, and I have to go through the hassle of reinstalling and cleaning up. Does this happen because of a fault in my system or are we suppose to do this every update?

Same thing here.......my god what a hazzle!

  • Installing Profiles always fails

We are currently using 2 profiles on our iPad carts adn deploying them with Apple Configurator.  The first just contains our wireless information.  The second is a profile for Meraki Systems Manager.  It looks like the Meraki Profile is the one that always fails.
The only way we can get it to work is to install just the wireless profile.  Then go to each iPad and pass through the lock screen, then reconnect all the iPads and install the Meraki Profile. This is a major inconvenience.
To me it looks like it needs the wifi for it to work, but don't understand why or if that is even true.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    A little more background.
We have a cart of ipads.  They are all setup with apps and profiles.  They all have the wifi profile and Meraki profile. When it is time to add more apps, we go ahead and add the apps to our 'Master' ipad.  We place the apps in the correct folders.  Then we go ahead and backup the 'master' ipad using Apple Configurator.  Then we go ahead and restore that backup to all the ipads to install the apps and place them in the correct folders.  We keep both the Wifi and Meraki profiles checked for this process.  They will always fail when installing the profiles.  I understand that it is because the wifi is not connected.  Is there a way to get this to connect?  It is really a pain to have to unlock all of the ipads before installing the Meraki profile.  How long does the wifi profile take to go into effect and connect?  Would it work if we just installed the wifi profile with the restore and then waited a few minutes and installed the Meraki profile?
    Thanks

  • ITunes update always fails on Windows 7 x64

I have had this problem for over a year on my Windows 7 64-bit system.  Whenever there is a new version of iTunes, I try and update using the iTunes Software Update notification that pops up.  This always fails to install.  I am then forced to uninstall it fully and re-install using the directions located here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1923
The above works but is a major hassle.  I don't understand why this keeps happening and have looked for solutions here and elsewhere.  Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

I have had this problem on my x64 Win7 machine for as long as I can remember.  I may however have found a solution.  I recently added another User Account (non-admin) to my machine so my wife could use it too.  Whilst logged in her account today iTunes popped up with an update.  I had tried this update (10.6.3.25) on my windows account a couple of times with it failing each time.  I had decided I could no longer be bothered going through the full uninstall/reinstall process again and wasn't going to bother.
For some reason though I thought I'd give it a go on my wife's windows login. It worked just fine.......
So my suggestion is to create another Windows User Account and see if you can update iTunes from that account instead.  It's the first time in at least 18 months that iTunes update has worked properly.

  • Adobe Application Manager - Always Failing

I have CS5 Extended and CS6 Extended, but - what they call
"Adobe Application Manager"  (and i must call rubbish) - always fails
to install any updates after downloading them.
I have tried few times, and would suggest to Adobe: to stop being
embarrassed this way, and re-write the manager that really does the job.
It's clear that this "manager" part of so great CS software now is:
    undoing all that good.
And - it's constantly giving you the warnings as this - not even true to what is going on
(in this case i am NOT running the manager already, and here is one of many wrong warnings,
before it fails to install any updates (again and again) - this is just one sample i've made today:
    Michael.
    =============

    1. You can open your Finder and navigate to Extension Manager CS6( "/Applications/Adobe Extension Manager CS6" ), and drag it to Trash.
    2. Then download and install Extension Manager 6.0.4 full installer from
    http://download.macromedia.com/pub/dw_exchange/extension_manager/mac/A dobeExtensionManager6.0.4All.dmg
    3. After that, ignore the update message that "Extension Manager 6.0.4 is available".
    Try installing the updates.
also uninstall & re install the adobe application manager.
    try updating the program.
If still doesnt help then download & install the updates manually.

  • ITunes fails to install automatically on Win 7 64-bit computer

iTune always fails to install automatically, and advises me to select to only download the updates, and then to install them manually. Well, there are five files that download: 1) AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi, 2)iTunes64.msi, 3)QuickTime.msi, 4) QuickTimeInstallerAdmin.exe, and 5)SetupAdmin.exe.
There are no further instructions as to which to install or in what sequence. So, I selected the iTunes64.msi, and after several "...verify that you have access to that directory" dialogue boxes, it installed -- (I do have version 10 now). But my iTunes doesn't say whether it is the 64-bit or 32-bit version that has been installed. How can I determine if I have installed the 64- or 32- bit version? And what do I do with the other files that were downloaded? Help, please!
I would truly 'perciate any advise!

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall press on)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

I did a fresh install of Lion using the rescue usb disk and it seemed to be going well until I downloaded XCODE 4 from the App Store.  The program fails stating I need to contact the Developer.

I deleted "Install XCode" from /Applications then opened App Store and downloaded XCode4.1.1 again.  I tried the install process again and it completed successfully.  Why the download from 2 days ago failed to install properly, I haven't a clue?  Nevertheless, I have a working XCode and for that I am grateful.

Your issue is completely different. You are running Snow Leopard. There is no download for Windows Support software for Snow Leopard, hence the error you see. Snow Leopard Windows Support software is on the Snow Leopard installation disk.
You need the Snow Leopard installation disk or a replacement for it.
