Ipad 2 3g can be used in Singapore?

I'm currently quite interested in getting ipad 2 from US. But I would like to ask if 3g could be used in Singapore by Singtel service provider?

just got back from a trip to SG.
i brought my ipad2 3g at&t and bought a pre-paid sim card from singtel for S$12.60. this was a 3 day unlimited data sim card that i popped in and worked like a charm...
i'm back now and popped in my at&t card and was able to resume using the outstanding time/data volume balance from my 250mb purchase in early may...
definately go with the 3g at&t version as that is gsm based and possible to take advantage of this international sim card swapping. i've had both at&t an verizon voice/data plans and hands down verzion is a win from my experience in the nyc area as i rarely ever had dropped voice calls w/verizon. outside of the congested nyc area, at&t 3g data was faster from what i can observe...
with the ipad i didn't really intend to depend on 3g connectivity and mostly as a contingency if i'm on the road and needed to connect up to the office.
what's really slick in SG is that the underground trains have cell coverage as well. never really at any point disconnected from the world.. streaming music.. reading of news.. etc...

After finishing the upgrade my iPad Reboot and currently stucked-up in a plug-in screen and iTunes Logo. In short, I push the restore button then another pop-up message appear saying " The iPad software update server could not be contacted. I repeatedly reboot the iPad and open the iTunes still the same problem. I try also to uninstall the iTunes and installed the lower version but still the same problem, I even check the firewall if the ITunes was block or My privileges is administrator to run the iTunes or even reset my winsock but the problem still remain. I will address your second question.
First, make sure your iPhone and iPad have absolutely identical Apple IDs. If they do, use that Apple ID in Settings > iCloud on your iPhone to select the "Notes" option. Lo and behold, all your iCloud notes should appear on your iPhone.

CHeck out iTunes Match which has an annual fee of £21 or thereabouts. You can store a maximum of 25,000 songs there and they all become available on your other kit, iPhone, iPad and iPod. I know it works as I have over 23000 songs uploaded of which only a few we're bought through iTunes.
it works by comparing your music to the whole iTunes music dadata base so you access the same tunes that you could get from iTunes. If you have obscure stuff, it uploads your own music to the cloud as a copy.
I Find it incredible that on my iPhone with its 16gb memory I can view almost 200 gb of music (ie my 23000 songs) and play any of them. Anything I add to iTunes becomes available via the cloud fairly quickly from a few minutes or a little longer if adding a lot.
The first time you use it it will take quite a while to match your music if you have a lot, but after that it is all automatic. Read the stuff on the apple site. Your PC needs to be at least running Vista. I recommend it and at less than 50p a week it's good value.

11th. My iPad worked fine
before getting on the plane. In the hotel about 48hrs later I opened my iPad it
read the message: “iPad is disabled,
connect to iTunes.”
To my knowledge myself, nor anyone else has tried to access my device or
entered the password incorrectly 3 or more times.
I started by updating my iTunes account on my computer to the latest version.
Then multiple times I attempted
the “Use recovery mode”
steps.
e.g.
1. Turn off your device and leave it off.
2. Plug in your device's USB cable to a computer with iTunes.
3. Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB
cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes
screen.
I received the message on my computer saying “iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.”
I click the “Restore iPad” button.
During which time the progress bar on my computer’s iTunes
screen was moving very slowly and other times seemed like it wasn’t moving at
all. I would leave my two devices and attached by the cable and upon returning
I would find that the process would have ended before it had completed.
Initially I thought it was a connections issue because I was in remote
locations with slow internet servers. Since being home I have re-attempted the
process and have been able to fully complete the forced recovery but I will

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can only locate your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely.
If the device is wiped by you or another, you may not be able to locate the device (although some have reported they can)

If you have Find My iPhone enabled, you can use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.
Alternatively, place the device in recovery mode and restore it to erase the device:
Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.

I'm at home now and have my notes. Creative Cloud had been uninstalled before my practically brand new Dell was restored with the factory backup disks on 12-18 (a whole nother story). CS6 was installed AFTER the restore, so I don't see how any parts and pieces of Creative Cloud could still be on my hard drive.
On 12-22 I received this Acrobat error: "A problem has occurred with the licensing of this product. Restart your computer and relaunch the product. Error: 130:11." Restarting did not help, so I uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat from my DVD, and it worked. I also updated it, just in case. I only turned the computer on a few times after that (not using Acrobat) until the 29th, when Acrobat started telling me I needed to renew my Creative Cloud subscription. That's when the Adobe techs told me I need to get a new email address because CS6 and Creative Cloud share the same email address. ALL of my Adobe products have been used with that same email.
So tonight, with your advice, here's my update. CS6 listed in the Programs and Features control panel included Acrobat, but Acrobat was also listed separately. I uninstalled the one listed separately. I attempted to use the CC Cleaner Tool after that, but the only option for removing Creative Cloud programs was combined with CS6 programs (which I have already installed twice), so I opted to skip the CC cleaner.
Of course after that, I had no Acrobat at all. I installed it again from my DVD and updated, and now I can launch Acrobat (same as on 12-22). So...wish me luck, and I'll let you know how it goes.

If you buy an iPhone from the US with AT&T you will be tied into a contract with them and you need this contract to be able to activate the phone. AT&T will then unlock the phone for you, but you need to be a current customer of AT&T for them to do this for you and you need to have had the contract with them for at least 3 months before they will unlock the phone.
The only way that you can get the phone unlocked is to be a current customer of AT&T.
Again, there are warranty issues - it is only valid in the US if you buy it in the US, so any problems and you'll have to fly back there and there will also be 4G LTE incompatibilities.
Unless you want problems and to be tied into a contract with AT&T for at least the next 3 months, then don't buy it and just wait.

Unless you have a backup from which you can restore, yes you will lose all of your data and settings.
You should be able to sync your content back to the iPad if you have been syncing with iTunes all along. If you don't sync with iTunes, you can download much of your paid content again for free as long as you use the same Apple ID. This explains downloading past purchases.
