Ipad 2 blank and not responding to reset
I have been using my iPad 2 happily for 6 months. After charging overnight on A/C power, this morning I found it had a blank screen. On clicking the home button, the screen lit up slightly but a display could not be seen. I tried a restart (home and power button for >10sec) but didn't even observe the apple logo. On connecting to iTunes, I managed to restore the iPad but the screen only flickered between a blue screen with a circular fanning icon (no apple logo) and a blank screen. It never returned to its former glory. I have sinced tried a restore 3 times both with and without restoring a back-up and have had no change in the visual display on the iPad. Any suggestions or is it off to the Apple store?
You should call apple care and go over your problem with them. sounds like your ipad is still under warranty so there is a good chance they will repair device free of charge.

Ipad 2 constantly clocking and not responding
Please advise, my ipad is constantly clocking and not responding.
Try reset iPad. If the reset doesn't work, it's time to contact Apple.
Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button down together until you see the Apple Logo.
Note: Data will not be affected. -
My iPad 2 screen is freezing up on me and not responding to my prompt. I can't even slide it to open or shut off the power. What do I do?
Try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

HT201412 My ipad went blank and will not restart
My ipad went blank and will not restart. What can I do?
Could be the battery is completely drained?
Use the charger that came with the iPad. Plug the charger into a known good wall outlet and connect your iPad. Let it charge for at least an hour. Then, while still connected to the charger, reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. If the iPad starts, fine. Let it continue to charge until the battery is at 100%. If it does not charge make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. -
My mini ipod appears off and not respond to any commands when pressed the buttons to reset, apple logo appeared and then the apple support site and it shuts down. already tried all the steps, but none worked, and when I plug it into my computer it does not appear in the iTunes bar. what do I do?
If MacKeeper corrupted the Recovery partition then even I underestimated its potential for damage. Garbage "cleaning" apps will cause misery but I have not found that the Recovery partition to have been affected by using MacKeeper or anything like it. I doubt that it did so, but I have learned not to underestimate the potential for such things to result in system corruption.
Before concluding your Mac has a hardware failure, try booting OS X Internet Recovery by holding command option r on startup (three fingers). That will force your iMac to bypass the Recovery partition altogether, and convey the ability to create a new one.
An Internet connection will be required (wired or wireless).
At the Mac OS X Utilities screen, select Disk Utility. Select your startup volume (usually named "Macintosh HD") and click the Repair Disk button. Describe any errors it reports in red. If Disk Utility reports "The volume Macintosh HD appears to be OK" in green then you can be reasonably (though not completely) assured your hard disk is in good working order.
Assuming the HD remains usable you can then use Disk Utility to erase it. Reinstall OS X, restore your essential software and other files, and don't reinstall the junk. -
I have areas of my iPad screen that does not respond to touch. Is that normal? The areas are random and not always in the same place. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?
Have you tried rebooting it by holding the home and on button until the Apple logo appears?

The connect to iTunes screen on the device means it is in recovery mode. Take a look at the following article for troubleshooting this issue:

My IPAD went blank and won't restart...and ideas?
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

My apple iPad touch screen is not responding
My apple ipad touch screen is not responding it was working since few hours then that happened. There is no a single point on the responds to touch but everything is working on the welcome screen, detects the Wi-Fi ... etc.
First thing I did was passing on my local agent store. They did a soft reset what caused lose all data and apps (not a problem) but they didn't fix and asked to visit the support branch .. now i can't use the "Siri trick" and I think it's not helpful after resetting my device.
I tried removing the screen protector but still no hope. Turned off it and cleaned the screen but didn't help!!
Is There another way? Any expected scenarios/time when I visit the repair branch in Egypt?
I've upgraded to latest (7.12) 2 or 3 weeks agoThanks ..
I've mentioned that I did that now I'm in another stage, The iPad at the main reseller support department and they told me now that they will give me another in return .... the strange thing I have heard was that I have to wait 4 weeks until they get me one from Apple .. I'm i Egypt -

How can I get my data from a old iPad to a new iPad using iCloud and not iTunes
How can I get my data from a old iPad to a new iPad using iCloud and not iTunes
Restore from the iCloud backup - assuming that you were backing up to iCloud in the first place. If you weren't using iCloud for backup - then you are out of luck.
If you were backing up to iCloud - you have to erase all contents on the iPad in Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings - before you can restore from the iCloud backup.

Hi Mofimac,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If your Mac is only starting up to a blank gray or white screen after updating OS X, you can find some useful troubleshooting steps in this article:
Mac OS X: Gray screen appears during startup
I recommend going through these first three sections first:
Disconnect, test peripheral devices and network cables
Perform a Safe Boot
Reset the NVRAM / PRAM
