Ipad 2 gets "No Service" message
SInce the latest update (iOS 8) was installed on my iPad 2 3G I get the "No Service" frequently in the upper left hand corner of my screen. Also, when loading pages on something like ABC News the screen just closes and goes back to where the icons are. If these symptoms are from the "up-grade" is there a way to revert back to the old iOS where everything worked right and I stayed connected? Thanks in advance for any light that anyone can shine on this.
I Have ATT cell service.. When on wireless, upper left hand corner show no service. If I reboot, I can use cell service, but must do each time.

i bought an eBook from iTunes. I can view/read it perfectly on my iPhone but when I try to open the eBook file on my iPad, I get the error message, "Cannot open book. This book is protected by an incompatible technology." Any ideas for me? thx
Welcome to the Apple Community.
I have seen previous versions mentioned in a pop up message before on iCloud.com, but I'm not really sure at all how it would help, as I couldn't get it to do anything.
The best advice I have at this time is to back up your work on your iOS device by regularly saving it to iTunes, if anything goes wrong you can then either load it into the numbers app again on the device or recover it via iTunes on your computer.
My syncs are immediate, I never get chance to see if it works in the background, sorry. -

Every time I connect my my iPod or iPad to my laptop I get the error message "iTunes was unable to load provider data from Sync Services. Reconnect or try again later" There is no problem with my internet connection and syncing then seems to occur OK. I upgraded to iOS 5 recently but have been getting the problem for several months. Due to recent problems with iCloud I am now concerned that this may be something significant that could lead to my losing data.
Anyone got any ideas?Doublechecking. You've tried the following document?
iTunes for Windows: "Unable to load data class" or "Unable to load provider data" sync services alert -
When I try to update my ipad with the latest software, I get an error message saying that the internet timed out. What can I do?
The update file is around 700 megs so if you're on a slow connection it does time out. You can also look into your anti virus software or firewall, it might be blocking the file. Also if you're trying to download it over 3G it won't work. There's a 20 meg cap on all 3G downloads.

When I access my iPad email, I get an error message saying "unable to process your request" How do I correct this?
Start with the basics. Force close mail and reset your iPad.
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Next, reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that doesn't help, you might want to consider resetting your router by unplugging it from power for about 30 seconds. That can help at times even if all of your other devices are connecting to the Internet. I suggest this, because the message that you are getting may be due to a bad connection to the Internet. -
Having problem with i Pad sync getting pop up message as below. The i Pad cannot be synced because there is not enough space to hold all of the items in the iTunes library (additional 10.03 GB required). There is enough space be it in PC or on i Pad. Why and What can be done to resolve, please advice appreciate. Thanks
It generally means - just using random numbers for examples - the iTunes on your computer holds 45 gig of content, you have a 16 gig iPad which has 13 gig of free space and the content just won't fit.
Easy solutions. go into iTunes and 'manually manage' your content. I believe this is in the main summary tab for your device (connect your device, click on the icon in iTunes to access controls for your iPad
You may also need to choose to manually control content in both the music and movie tabs.
Apple - Support - Manuals
the manual will have more specific info for syncing and controlling content -
Whilst trying to update my iPad, I get an error message
Whilst trying to update my iPad, I get the following error message
An error occured while backing up this iPad
(0xE 8004008). Would you like to continue to update
this iPad?
Continuing will result in the loss of all contents on this iPad
Can anybody PLEASE tell me how to get around this.First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
