Ipad 2 is freezing my laptop when i plug it in to itunes!!!
since i updated it, it wont plug into my laptop without freezing the whole thing but my iphone 4 is fine when plugged in?
Im so sick of it.... My Ipad 2 worked fine until I tried to update it....i.e...make it better!!!!! Im close to just chucking it in a drawer...I was a massive apple fan until this and I'll be damned if Im going to pay them £70 for something that is their fault in the first place. Thats just them being another greed corporation. I have the 4S and Ive had every single ipod since they come out. Im not going to buy another one.
If I get mine working again then I'll update you and tell you how Ive done it. However, Apple can take a running jump if they think Im gona pay them to fix it though!!!!

You can try this:
1) restart your computer
2) once restarted, do not run anything else, except for launching iTunes manually
3) connect your devices to your computer

MyiPod classic won't charge. I just bought a new laptop with Windows 8 and when I plug in my iPod, iTunes will recognize it and sync, but will only charge during the syncing process. Any suggestions?

Quit the app and restart.

I haven't used my ipad for over 6 months and when I plug it to charge (wall charger) it just doesn't charge anymore : any idea as to what the issue is and what I should do?If the battery has been drained completely dry it will take 20 minutes or more for it to indicate that it is actully charging!

i plugged it and pressed the home button for a few seconds. the connect to itunes screen appeared and the moment i disconnect the cable from the electric plug, it switches off. when i connect the cable to the PC, nothing happens, its as if nothing has been done.

If the battery is very low, it can take 15 minutes or maybe even longer befor you will see any response at all on the screen. If you have let the iPad charge for what you think is a sufficient length of time and it still hasn't shown any signs of life, try a reset and see if that will force it to start up.
Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo apperas on the screen and then let go of the buttons. If that still doesn't work, try charging the device again overnight. If it's still dean in the morning, try restoring the device with iTunes.

If that doesn't work, make an appointment at an Apple Store and seek their guidance. -
my ipad mini has water damage but when I plug into wall it says to connect to itunes. When I plug into Mac nothing happens. Not even a charging sign and nothing happens with itunes. Computer doesn't recognize it's plugged in.
If moisture got inside, it may have shorted the iPad's electronics.

You may want to do a Restore on the iPod in iTunes. The Restore button is on the iPod's Summary screen in iTunes. This will erase the iPod, re-install its software, and set it to default settings. If the problem is caused by data corruption in the iPod's storage, a Restore should fix it.

I had to reinstall itunes and now when I plug in my ipod itunes does not automatically open to my library or where I can access the itunes store. What do I do now?
Open iTunes and connect your iPod. Select your iPod in iTunes from the Source list. (I'm assuming this still works, although you didn't indicate if it did or didn't.) Make sure the box is checked to Open iTunes when this device is connected. You should be all set!
