IPAD 2 Locks up with 4.3.1

When I got my new iPAD 2 Wi-Fi + 3G with IOS version 4.3 I would experience connectivity issues using my WiFi. Mostly turning off WiFi and then reconnecting would correct the issue(s). A few times I needed to reboot. My iPhone 3GS works perfect under WiFi. My 3G is disabled on the iPAD (I'm not using it).
Since upgrading to IOS 4.3.1 over the weekend I have been experiencing with my iPAD locking up to the point I have to reboot it to get it going again. I've had to do this multiple times to get it working again. It just becomes unresponsive using the WiFi. My iPhone is on IOS 4.0.? Because it works with my home network and the iPAD doesn't either the hardware is defective or the IOS. IT seems many folks are having the same issue so I tend to think it's the IOS.
I also experience he light bleed at the bottom of the screen by the button, but I hardly notice it. The big problem is with the WiFi. Suggestions?

I have been able to resolve the issue.
I have two Netgear Access Points with the SSID but on different channels to provide greater WiFi coverage. One AP was set to G but the other was set to B/G. I changed the B/G to G only and I have not had a problem since.
The problem I was having was the WiFi would freeze and sometimes the IP address would be a standard default and not one on my network. I had to keep "forgeting" the network and then add it back in to reconnect. By changing both to G the issue is resolved.

Thank you for trying to help. I followed your instructions, it took 6 hours to download, and then said it could not solve the problem (something to do with error 9?). It will have to go back to Apple - its only 3 days since it came out of the package and its very disappointing for him. Looks like I have to hang around in the Apple store in Plymouth all tomorrow until they can fix it, or will change it. Thanks for your help.

If you are unable to cancel or power down, try resetting:

What do you mean it won't hook up to iTunes? you mean iTunes does not recognize the device? If that's what you mean, one of these might be helpful.
