Ipad 2: replace broken screen

Will Apple replace the broken glass for my Ipad2 which have just bought in 1 month?
And any Apple stores in Vietnam can do it?

Hey, you didn't read my reply correctly. Like I said in my reply, i know it is not Appe' responsibility to replace units damaged by the user. What iwas saying was they used to do that when Jobs were around. With all the Apple equipmet i have, i never had to go to Apple store for replacement. This was my first and only time I did.
I don't blame Apple for not doing it any more. I just miss the times they used to to do it. I have many friends, whom i converted frOom PC to Apple, who got the free repalacement. I am not trying to brg, but it really isn't the money issue. I could have easily taken up on their offer to replace my iPad 2 at half the price. I was disappointed that the first time I tried to use the courtey replacement the first time, i was denied. I could have easily taken up on their 50% off offer. Again, its not a money issue.
I was just making a comment that this new policy came into place so soon after his passing. I couldn't care less about the $419 cost. Why did this change come within weeks of his passing? I wans't even interested ingetting replacement until so many of my friends told me about the one time courtesy replacement. I didn't think it was their responsibility in the first place. But when my friends told me that they know so many people who just got a new replacement, i thought I'd give it a shot. Again, the main motivation was not the cost, but testing if it was really true. Apple posted 40%+ return on equity. So I am sure they are not hurting. I also own shares of Apple for at least 5 years. Please understand its not a money issue. I was just surprised that the policy changed so soon after Jonbs passed away.
Please don't get me wrong. I was shocked that Apple's been doing the courtesy replacement all this time, which I didnt know. Nor got any benefit from it. I am just sad that it changed so suddenly as soon as Jobs was gone.
I am just worried that Apple might have started heading in the wrong direction. And if they did, i would be a very sad camper

Hello. Trying to replace broken screen on daughter's laptop. Laptop is an HP DV6T-7000 Quad (bought in July, has the 3rd gen I-7 proc. and 610 graphics card). OEM screen is an LG LP156WH3(TL)(AC) according to the sticker on the back, which is a 1366 x 768 glossy. Would like to upgrade to the optional 1900 x 1080 full hd matte, which internet research leads me to think is model # LP156WF4(SL)(B3). The glass screen on the iPod Touch I purchased as a Xmas present has become cracked due to dropping, the user now more worried at what Mum is going to say its still fully functional, playing, camera etc so needs a replacement clear glass fitted, whats the best way to do this?

Before I box up my Ipod and pay for a courier to the repair center I would like to know if the "Apple Product Replacement Request" will repair a shattered screen? I have an estimate of $125, but when filling out the request there was no option under "display" for broken screens just malfunctioning ones. Am I better off taking it to an Apple Store (2hrs away)? Any advice?

Actually Apple will replace your iPod with a refurbished one. Apple charges a flat-rate depending upon iPod model and capacity. That is why a broken screen is not specifically stated. For further info see:

Satellite Z830 - how to replace broken Screen?

A careless family member has succeeded in cracking the screen of a fairly new Toshiba z830. It's broken quite badly, so I doubt it will be reparable.
I was wondering if anyone could offer any advice on the best way to go about getting a replacement, bonus points for any information in the Melbourne area.

I'd rather not pay the $459 or 459 or whatever to get the screen fixed by Toshiba. I've had 20 laptops before, I never cracked a screen like this so easily. I didn't drop the laptop nor bump it nor squeeze it, I just transported it in my hand baggage on the airplane as I always do with many previous laptops, the Z830 screen is too fragile. I really like the screen, I like its matte finish, I like the thin and light magnesium form factor of the laptop, and swobbly screen does not bother me, except the design is just much too fragile, the glass surface of the LCD is not protected as it must be. Since I don't want to pay the $500 repair fee, and since I guess Toshiba never replaces a cracked screen under warranty? I need to know if it'll work if I buy this screen: http://www.laptopscreen.com/English/model/toshiba/PORTEGE~Z830-S8302/ and I need to know exactly what screw driver I need and if there is a YouTube video and/or tutorial with detailed images and explanations so that I can hopefully safely make the screen replacement myself. they do but not for free. It's called an out of warranty replacement. The cost varies according to the model, and they will basically give you a replacement unit (so back up first).

Well, I broke my ipad screen (and probably more)... left it on the top of the car while strapping in the 10 month old, headed off to parts unknown and when the car got up to speed I heard a horrid thud, and saw the poor thing bounce. I wanted to see if I could still still sync one last time because I've got some movies of said 10 month old I'd really like to save....
Connected to itunes, and to my amazement the computer recognized the device! unfortunately, I got the dreaded message that it couldn't connect because it was locked with a passcode. I know the passcode, but can't enter it because the screen is broken!
Any ideas? I'm not worried about purchased apps or music, as I think I can redownload most of that stuff from the itunes store, but I just want to get the pictures and home movies off.

No. The only ones that may be interchangeable are the 2G and 3G screens.

I am trying to order a new screen for a Toshiba Satellite L300 04P. It was bought at a future shop in canada, needless to say it isnt easy finding the info about it i need. So my question is...
Will an LCD screen for say a L300 11M or L300 14C or other L300 model work for this laptop as long as the screen size of 15.4", and specs 1280x800, WXGA, Glossy, all match the original screen??
I am not sure where to find the screen model number besides the back of the actual screen but I don't feel comfortable takingthe laptop apart myself.
