IPad 2 shows wrong amount of space.

I have a wifi only iPad 2, and ever since I updated to iOS 4.3, the iPad has shown the wrong amount of space. This still happens even though I have updated to iOS 5.1. For instance, I want to record my guitar in GarageBand, but it says I don't have enough space to record. This is odd since I have 125 megabytes of space free. So, I go delete some photos and email. I look at the amount of space and it says I have 68.9 megabytes! This happens all the time and with various apps. When I sync the ipad with my Windows laptop, it also shows wrong amounts. There will also be small fluctuations such as 56.5 mb going to 52.8 mb. Can anyone help? Does anyone else have this problem? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried rebooting the iPad - just to try to reset the system memory and maybe get a more accurate reading? It does appear though with only 125 MB of space left - you were really cutting it close.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Finder showing wrong amount of free space on Macintosh HD

Hi!
Does anyone know why Finder tells me that the amount of free space on my Mac is 46.53 GB while Disk Utility says there are only 31.89 GB of free space left?

Just found the solution in another thread: the "problem" seems to be the local Time Machine Snapshots. Finder ignores them, Disk Utility doesn't.

IOS 8 iPad showing wrong iPhone photo stream

Just upgraded to iOS8 on my iPad, have not yet on iPhone. I have three questions:
1) My correct apple ID email shows in settings under iCloud, however my Photos app is showing my husband's Photo Stream from his iPhone, which has a different Apple ID than mine. It is not showing my iPhone's Photo Stream. How can this be and how do I correct it? We have verified that the iCloud Apple ID settings are correct on all devices.
2) I am afraid to upgrade my iPhone to iOS8 because I do not want to completely lose my Photo Stream, since my iPad switched to accessing the wrong Photo Stream. Will that happen as well?
3) I would like to use iCloud Photos Library (Beta) but when I hit the switch I get this message: "Photos synced from iTunes will be removed. Syncing photos via iTunes is not supported." What photos is it referring to? How do I avoid losing those?

If you don't see the AirPlay icon in Control Center:
1. Turn off router, Apple TV and iPad
2. Turn on router and then wait 30 seconds for it to complete start-up process
3. Turn on Apple TV and then wait 30 seconds for it to complete start-up process

Syncing photos to iPad, showing wrong photos in every album

I have several albums in iPhoto that I regularly sync to two iOS devices. Recently, something appears to have scrambled some the photos across the albums. What I see on both my iOS devices are the albums from iPhoto I have selected to sync, but each of them (only on the iOS devices) have a handful of photos from other albums scattered throughout each album.
I have verified that the photos are not in those albums in iPhoto, and have taken the following steps to fix the problem:
Unchecked the albums from the iOS device in iTunes and resynced, then checked those albums in iTunes and synced again. The albums were duly removed from the iOS device, then re-added. Again, the errant photos showed up.
Gone through the iPhoto albums carefully, selected "show hidden photos," and verified those errant photos are not showing in any of the iPhoto albums
Created new iPhoto albums with different album names, carefully moved just the photos I wanted into the new albums, checked only the new albums in iTunes and resynced the iOS devices. This removed the old albums and added the new albums. This worked for the first sync (the new albums came across correctly), but subsequent syncs scattered the same errant photos back into the iOS device albums (not the new iPhoto albums)
So it appears something in the sync process is picking up some scrambled information and causing old photos to be displayed in the iOS albums which are not in the iPhoto albums. But I cannot find anyplace to correct or rebuild those databases, or force only the new albums to remain clean.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Found a solution, in a post to another user's question in a different thread:
Download iPhoto Library Manager (http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/) and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
That rebuild did what iPhoto's built-in rebuild apparently couldn't. After it completed and iPhoto relaunched, I was able to resync to iOS devices and the errant photos were gone.
Whew!

Finder status bar showing wrong available drive space

The status bar in finder windows is saying that I have more space availible than I actually do. This problem is not occuring on external drives. Everything from quick look to third party system monitoring apps all show the correct space availible, and the only thing that says otherwise is this finder status bar.

Having the same problem here - MacBook Pro (one week old) 10.8.2. Started up from the "repair disk" and ran disk utility - both repair and fix permissions. No correction.

I have a PO XXXX (Network related) for amount 15.063, When I check the MIGO Document in quantity Tab - Amount in LC field has updated with huge amount close to 2 lakhs.
Can you please tell me why this difference and one more thing PO, GR and IR are in INR Currency Only we are not using any other currency.
and Vendor Master also has been maintained in INR

Hi,
Check whether PO Price has been changed after Goods Receipt. Check in ME22N -> Environment --> Header Changes OR select the PO line item and click menu Environment --> Item Changes.
Also check if Delivery Cost/Freight Cost has been maintained in PO.

Not showing correct amount of space

So, it started off my iTunes was not detecting my iPod when I would plug it in, the PC was, but not iTunes. So, I installed the newest version of iPod software and uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes. Still wasn't detecting it so I did a factory wipe of my iPod.
iTunes now sees the iPod, however, it is telling me that I have 800mb of free space on it instead of the 28GB that are actually available. This is preventing me from putting hardly any music on it, and *****. I have tried every thing that I have seen on here for similar problems to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas??

Maybe you could try restoring it one more time, but if that doesnt work, you could always send it in unless the warranty is expired.

My doubt is that DBA_EXTENTS, DBA_SEGMENT,DBA_DATA_FILES all three contained column "BYTES" which shows size in bytes. Then why B is not an option.

Of these 4 answers, I'd say A and B will give the info asked for in the question.
DBA_DATA_FILES only tells you the file size. That's not of much value because it doesn't tell you how much space is consumed by objects (there may be none).
DBA_TABLESPACES has no storage info.
DBA_EXTENTS and SEGMENTS show the amount of space consumed by objects.
Even then, I'd say none of the above and use: DBA_TABLESPACE_USAGE_METRICS

Finder reports wrong amount of free space

Finder is reporting the wrong amount of free space on all my drives. It's not from time machine local backups, because I've disabled those. In fact, it's reporting MORE free space than there should be! In all cases, Disk Utility shows the correct amount. (So does the Terminal command df.)
eg:
external 120GB hard drive (USB) - finder says 137.83GB free (more than the drive can hold, nice) - disk util says 70 used 49.9 free... better
external 1TB (firewire) - finder says 276.66GB free - disk util says 783.72 used 216.15 free
internal 120GB SSD - finder says 108.32GB - disk util says 78.6GB used, 40.5 free
Anyway to fix Finder?

I noticed the same problem. I assumed it was from Time Machine's local backups (which exactly account for the space discrepancy between Finder and Disk Utility on my machine). But, as you say, you've disabled Time Machine local "snapshots." I can only assume you deleted the local backups (to free up the space they were using), emptied your Trash and are still showing the discrepancy.

Why does my iPad store show wrong id

In my settings, it shows the right Id. When I go into store to get items or updates, it shows wrong id. How do I fix this?

If you purchased apps with a different Apple ID, you will always have to use that ID in order to update the apps.
If that's not what is happening to you, I don't know what the device would be showing an ID that does not belong to you, unless somebody else used their ID on your iPad. Try swiping to the bottom of the app store featured tab and tap on the Apple ID that is showing in there. Sign out of that ID and sign into yours.

The Table data for the Condition rate/Amount (KONV- KBETR) is showing wrongly for Japanse currency(JPY).For ex-The invoice is showing correctly as 3 JPY but the Invoice output shows 300 JPY.This data being fetched from the KBETR shows 300JPY instead of 3JPY.Pl help to resolve this.

Dear Isaac,
This may due to condition record maintainenance for that condition type in the VK11 transaction so please go to VK12 transaction check the condition value for that condition type.
KBETR -- Means Rate (condition amount or percentage) where no scale exists, it exists in KONP table(Condition record table).
Also Check anybody change the values in the sales order or in invoice from 300 to 3.
