IPad 2 stuck on low battery screen

Hello my ipad 2 is stuck on low battery screen and i have tried everything and nothing works, it does not reset and doesnt even enter in DFU mode.. everytime i reset it, it gives me the red battery screen again. i charged it with a wall charger and USB charger to my laptop and nothing works. HELP please

Then this might help you, if you hold both home and power button for 10 -15 seconds.
If that doesn't work:
plug your device to you mac or pc
turn off your device
when it's completly black screen. (You have to have your device plugged in)
then hold power button for 3 seconds
without releasing the power button, hold both home and power for 30 seconds.
then you'll be in DFU mode.
restore.
Hope this will work.

  • Ipad 2 stuck in low battery

My Ipad 2 is stuck in low battery, I was able to get it into DFU mode, restored from itunes but it is still in low battery mode

I have never seen this answer before but here's what worked for me and I found it accidentally.
I have an iPhone and an iPad and I only had 1 charger (my only Apple cord didn't work anymore so I had thrown it out and I thought maybe that was the problem, except my iphone charged fine with my pink cord) by my bedside, so I would just hook up the one that needed it the most before I went to bed.  Well one day I woke up to find that my iPad had a low battery, with the red battery picture. When I plugged it into the charger, it just kept recycling to the Apple logo and then the spinning wheel of death, and back again.
I did some research and couldn't figure it out. People who thought it was a dead battery still had the same problem after they sent it in and got a new battery  My iPad is not jail broken and half the "solutions" were over my head. I have over 1300 apps on my iPad, not to mention thousands of pictures, that I was just feeling so bereft and sad that I might have lost everything.  So I just let my iPad sit, and drained the whole battery down to the nubbin.  It was 2-3 days without a charger that I just let it sit.
Then I put it on the charger again and I noticed I still got the red battery symbol, but the red was a thinner slice. I went to work and left it on the charger all day. When I returned, one of my FB notifications came on and bam, there it was, my sign on screen or whatever it's called, where you slide the thingy across. And it was back!!!!!!
So I was overjoyed.  I'd also had a problem syncing with a warning that it overloaded my USB port. It was a separate problem, but I was able to sync it after that, and my iPhone too, so I was ecstatic.
Then the battery thing happened again about a week later.  I thought I had been diligent about keeping it charged but it went down after only a day off the charger.  Realized that I had FB and mail notifications notifying me in the startup screen, so that it was constantly turning itself on and off.  I have almost 5000 FB friends and 10 email accounts, so that was a lot of steady activity that I wasn't really aware of.  I have now turned off all notifications to every app, since they also come on my phone AND I bought a 2nd cord, a purple one, so now I'm set and don't expect to ever have that problem again.
Hope this helps everyone who thought they had a brick.

  • Ipod touch 2nd gen stuck on low battery screen and won't turn on, Ipod touch 2nd gen stuck on low battery screen and won't turn on

My ipod touch was working fine until yesterday it just shut off with about half of charge left. I tried holding the power and home button but nothing. When I plug it into the charging wall outlet the low battery screen pops up and same goes for when I plug it into iTunes on my computer. I let it alone overnight to see if the battery would drain but same thing happened today. What should I do?

  • IPod touch stuck on low battery screen

I have had an ipod touch for a year now, and whenever I used to charge it, it took 2 minutes to charge fully and used to last 5 minutes. Now, I haven't charged it for a month because my charger broke. Now when I link it up via USB to my PC, it has a red battery sign on the screen with a thunder sign underneath it, and it stays stuck on this screen. Another problem is that the laptop that it is synced with is broken. How do I fix this problem - resetting the iPod? Getting a new charger? Replacing the battery? Help would be appreciated. Thanks

  • IPhone 5 crashes on iOS 8 and goes to low battery screen

I was just using my iPhone 5, iOS 8.1.3, and it crashed and went to the low battery screen even though it was 53%. I plugged it in and powered it back on, and it was 53% (iPhone had not lost any charge).
I don't know what is causing this problem, but it has happened 4 times now.
Has anyone else experienced this problem, or is it a certain configuration or setting that causes this problem?

thank you for typing on apple community
    try to reset your phone
    step 1:
hold the home phone and the power button for 10 seconds
    and turn it back on
    step 2;
if step 1 don't work back up and restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using iCloud or iTunes - Apple Support
    step 3
    go under setting
    go to general
    go to reset
and go to erase all content and settings
    follow that step
itll erase everything but if you do step 2 itll be saved... and itll show you how to back up also

    Hi wolfsong.warrior,
Reset your device: Press down on the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time and continue to hold them until the Silver Apple appears (no data will be lost). Once the Home screen comes back up, check to see if everything is working correctly now.

  • IPhone 6 Plus low battery screen missing

    Hello,
I just got my new iPhone 6 Plus Space Grey 128GB today. I used the whole day to run down my phone to 0% for first time charge. When my phone off itself when 0% battery, I tried to click on the On/Off button and the Home button, but the low battery screen wasn't appear. Previously for my old phone iPhone 4S, whenever the phone off itself and I click on the On/Off/Home button, the low battery screen will appear. The low battery screen here refer to the screen with black background with white battery icon and charger cable icon.
May I know anyone of you using iPhone 6 Plus has similar problem? I did a restore from my iPhone 4S backup before I rundown my battery to 0%. I am not sure if originally it was already behave this way or due to the phone restore.
    Thank you.
    Best Regards,

  • My iPad is stuck on a black screen with iTunes logo

My iPad is stuck on a black screen that has the iTunes logo and a usb adapter image.  This all happened when I got a software update for iOS 8.1 and started the update.  The screen will not leave this image.  I've tried everything from resetting holding the buttons to restoring the factory setting from the site.  Anyone have this from and can please help out?
    Thanks,
    Sandy

My Ipad has the same logo on it's screen as well..trying to do an update via Itunes at present, but it is extremely slow.
There are intermittent flashes of the Apple logo on the screen while this is happening..
I have done every update since buying my Ipad, and this is the first time a major drama like this has happened, and it doesn't look like i am the only one having problems!!

  • My 4th Generation 80GB iPod is alternating between the Apple logo & the low battery screen

My 4th Generation 80GB iPod isn't opening iTunes or otherwise being recognized when I connect it to my computer. Instead, it keeps alternating between the Apple logo & the "Please wait, very low battery" screen, even though I just charged it yesterday.
Any advice would be deeply appreciated, thanks!

Shortly after this message was posted, this mysterious, annoying and quite upsetting issue occurred yet again.  (The issue originally happened when I tried to plug my iPod into my Windows 7 notebook via the USB cord that came with the device.)
So I tried plugging it into the gadget for my car's cigarette lighter, therefore using a different cord. Sadly, the Apple logo and "very low battery" message reappeared and kept alternating. Same thing when I plugged in my headphones.
But I wasn't going to let that deter me from trying again. The next stop consisted of plugging it into someone else's MacBook Pro. Wouldn't you know, suddenly my iPod was functioning again! The screen lit up with that lovely "Do not disconnect" message and iTunes launched. (Maybe it needed some Apple-on-Apple love?)  Furthermore, my iPod now works with my Windows notebook again — along with all the other methods mentioned in this post.
In conclusion, should you find yourself in the same predicament, try hooking it up to a Mac. I don't know how or why, but that's what worked for me.
    Cheers,
    echo

  • Low Battery Screen when battery is fully charged

My phone has started displaying the low battery screen, and refusing to do anything, after being unplugged from the charger for a few hours. The battery is fully charged, but after only 1-2 hours, the phone starts to display that warning screen and going back off. Sometimes, if you push the home key as soon as the warning screen goes off, it will come up normally. Sometimes, it won't.
I believe this all started (along with the texting issues several other people have had) after the last update, I believe it is 2.2.1.
Is anybody else having this issue? I have drained the battery and restored, I have reset the settings at least twice, I have forced a restart... any other suggestions? Thanks!

Same problem. Just sitting beside me on the table occasionally the screen light up for no reason flashing the red low battery screen. Pressing home, power, etc a few times brings the phone up and shows the true battery charge which is wherever it would normally be - from full to partial discharge depending on how much Ive used it. Seems to not really be indicating something with the battery but ore of a random phantom ghost bug in the OS somewhere that displays that screen for no reason.

  • Ipod is stuck on "please wait, low battery" screen

My iPod is low battery, and when I try to charge it it says "please wait, low battery" and has a spinning wheel, but after a few minutes that sign fades away and the screen is blank. I have tried using different USB cords, different chargers/computers and I don't know what the problem is. Is my iPod dead?

    Hey there,
If your iPod is no longer charging or maybe even barely hold a charge, it may be a good sign that the battery is reaching the end of its life. They are designed with only a limited number of charges. How long they last depends on how much you use your iPod and what you mainly use it for.
However, many places sell replacement batteries anywhere from $15 - 30 depending on where you purchase it from and if you want them to do the repairs for you. You may also do the repair yourself, if you feel confident enough. Websites like www.ifixit.com provides step-by-step instructions and pictures to replace the battery yourself. Best of luck.
