IPad 2 with iOS 7.1 will not pair with ZAGGfolio keyboard

I have been unable to get my iPad 2 to pair with my ZAGGfolio keyboard. The keyboard is brand new, and it is the first Bluetooth accessory I have tried to use. When I press the connect button on the keyboard, the iPad will discover it. When I select it, I receive a Bluetooth Pairing Request, and I am given a 4-digit code to enter on the keyboard. When I type the code on the keyboard, nothing happens. After a short time, I am notified that the Pairing was Unsuccessful, and to check that the keyboard is turned on (it is), in range (it is only a few inches from the iPad), and is ready to pair (it is). Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Is the keyboard fully charged? The zagg keyboards are great in that their battery lasts for months, but that also makes it easy for you to forget how long it's been and have the battery run down.
If the simple tweaks don't fix it, call the company. In my experience, they have wonderful customer service.

IPad 2 iOS 5 Pages will not sync with iCloud

I have my iPad 2 fully updated [iOS 5, latest pages update] and I turned on the options for using iCloud; however, when I go into pages, all I see are a bunch of up arrows in the upper right corner of each document and nothing is syncing. I have the iCloud setting for doc sync turned "on" and the Pages option to use iCloud turned "on."
It has been over 10 hours since I turned all this on, I connected my iPad to a power source [its connected to a good WiFi] and went to bed - its still not synced.
I have migrated my Mobile Me account over to iCloud, and I click on the 'iWorks" and it only gives me the Giraffe and the "Use Pages with iOS" but nothing will change.
Thoughts? Is it just too soon executus? [sorry bad reference]. It looks so very exciting! I cannot wait for my iPad to live sync through pages! I've been using dropbox and other word processing apps for so long >< I cant wait to be able to rely solely on pages!!!

Did you set up iCloud on the iPad in the settings?
I set up my iCloud account on my iPad and on iCloud.com and updated Pages this morning and my documents uploaded right away. The up arrow indicates that the documents are uploading or ready to upload - at least that's what I assumed.
Try quitting pages and restarting your iPad your iPad - you might as well restart the Mac while you are at it - and then try it again.
You did update Pages so if you did this should work.
To quit Pages - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close Pages by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on the Pages app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus (-) sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

IPhone 3G with iOS 4.2 will not work with iTunes 10.2 What can I do?

I updated iTunes from 9 to 10 without issue got as far as 10.1 all worked fine. Notified of update for iPhone (3G) 4.2 so, I went for it and all still worked well. I then upgraded iTunes to 10.2 and disaster struck! iTunes takes very long time to start will freeze when device connected then fails to see the iPhone. It now appears I may have updated myself into extinction. The latest from iTunes 10.2.2 is not working. I removed AMDS and reverted back to 10.0.1 and it worked for that day I thought I was good all I needed to do worked smoothly. A few days later I am back where I was a month ago with iTunes slow and failing to see device. I know the phone works as it just did a few days ago. I tried to revert to 10.1 and that failed now the AMDS from 10.0 failed to stay working. I can lose the library and movies either on iPhone or in iTunes but, I need the other data notes,calendar, etc. Any ideas? iTunes is not seeing device when connected. It simply freezes (Not Responding) for minutes then fails to see device.
I have previously uninstalled and re-installed latest from Apple 10.2.2. The only way I got that to work was uninstall AMDS and install version 10.0.1 this worked beautifully for ONE Night only. I am now with 10.2.2 that takes 2-4 minutes to start (non responding half of that time the first half just not shown by task manager) and cannot see device. I tried starting iTunes with devices plugged in and same issues. Windows (Vista 32) does see iPhone.

My bluetooth keyboard (Macnus 3.0) is recognised by my iMac but will not pair? I have paired it with my iPad using code 8310 but it still will not pair with my iMac. Can someone help please?

Hi All, thank you for you suggestions. I have been unable to find any website for the maker, but have looked at several Thai/cambodian sites incl <http://www.buycoms.com/Article/8435/index.asp> which mentions the keyboard being suitable for tablet or windows. No mention of iMac! although the box is branded to indicate Mac compatable.
I'm thinking that maybe it just will not pair with an iMac.
Ill keep looking for the maker website, which might come on later in the future? maybe?

ZMM Profile on IOS 7.1 will not install with ZMM 3.0

Anybody experiencing the same issue as I have? When using ZMM server version 3.0, iPhone devices with IOS 7.1 will not receive profiles. The only thing they do receive is one MDM profile. However, I expect at least 5 ZMM profiles on the iPhone devices. This problem seems IOS version related. When enrolling a device with IOS 8.x, profiles are installed just fine.

I am not seeing exactly the same thing as what you are describing. I have had issues with deploying Apps, including Managed Apps. I do notice that several of the teachers that I support recently updated to iOS 8 which caused some working profiles to fail. Once I removed and reloaded the configuration I noticed that the profiles only had the single MDM listed. Everything acted like it was working so I haven't looked at it further. I don't personally have iOS 7 devices so can't check tonight but will look to see if any of my other iPads I support show only a single profile setup. My iOS 8 iPhone (4s) only has the single profile with listed items under that profile so I am guessing that is how Apple is now handling things.

Apple would "not" replace my Iphone 5 till went to dealer and had my bluetooth on u connect system updated. Advisor acted like I just come from the planet Mars when I told him what I needed. So a tech advisor went with to my vehicle and connect his 4S then went and about a minute flat "paired" my iphone 5! I seen him go through a step that even the manufacter's manual did not even mention to "pair" an iphone using bluetooth! I then asked what he had done and so he showed me to successfully start the "pairing" process the four digit code he used for the u connect and on the iphone screen came up displaying u connect and just to the right it says "not" paired. I had been there around twenty times myself! He then pressed the "not paired" display and when he did the keypad popped up and the advisor put in the "same" four didgit code that he originally had used to start the pairing in uconnect and then press the "complete or done" button on the iphone keypad after doing this the u connect displays "pairing process has begun" and less than a minute it did! All the phones including my 4GS I "never" had to do that and I had "never" had a pairing problem before so to me it must the new IOS 6 system!

IPhone 4s will not pair with car bluetooth

My new iphone 4s will not pair with the bluetooth in my 07 Volvo XC70. The blue tooth is after market, looks similar to internet photos of Motorolla T605. Blue tooth says to put in scan mode and then enter code when prompted. Pairing fails and then the screen for the code shows up on the phone.
I had a iPhone 3s paired with this Bluetooth, and once when I did a reset of that phone had this issue, put through many attempts it eventually paired. Despite many attempts, I cannot get the 4S running IOS 5 to pair.
The phone does pair with a motorolla bluetooth ear piece.

I've been having this issue since I got an iPhone 4S last week. (Upgraded from iPhone 4 on iOS 5.0.1)
I would think that this is a software issue but I went ahead and visited an AT&T store to see about a replacement phone. I was directed to go to an Apple store which I then did. I explained this bluetooth issue I was having as well as the other issue with no audio on outbound calls (described in a different thread) and they gave me a new phone.
Well, I've tested it several times now with the nav/handsfree systems in two different cars as well as with my headset. All is good so far! No drop of bluetooth connection, can switch at will between audio sources and no lack of audio on outbound calls any more. (And these problems were happening frequently before, even after a complete restore.)

That can certainly be confusing since it previously paired just fine with your device. We will be happy to take a closer look at this matter with you. Have you attempted to reboot the device? Tried deleting the bluetooth connection from the device, then re-establishing connection? Any changes recently to the devices software or additions of an application when you first noticed this issue began?

All was well until this afternoon, when I swapped out the batteries on my trusty old Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer for Bluetooth, which has worked flawlessly for me for a few years now. After I put new batteries in, my MBP wouldn't recognize it. I went through the Bluetooth Setup Assistant, and it "saw" the mouse and properly listed it as "Microsoft Mouse". I hit "continue", of course, and the Assistant said "Pairing with your Bluetooth mouse". It got as far as "Connection established" (and I saw the mouse appear in the Bluetooth preference pane", but then I got the dreaded red words: "The pairing attempt was unsuccessful. Make sure your mouse is in range of this computer, turned on and "discoverable." Etc., etc. I made sure of all of those things and tried again, many times, with the same failure every time. I tried different batteries, rebooted the Mac, and so on. No luck.
Figuring my mouse was dead, I went out and bought a Kensington Slimblade Bluetooth Presenter Mouse, brand new, never been paired with anything. Same problem!
Also, I can no longer get my Palm Treo 650 to sync via Bluetooth. It used to be a little flaky (often complained that the port was in use by another application), but rebooting the Treo always solved that. Now, it doesn't.
One trusty old mouse suddenly stops pairing, one brand-new one refuses to pair, smartphone won't sync any more. I haven't installed any system updates or anything else since the Microsoft mouse worked. The only weird thing going on is that I'm having massive network connectivity issues with my broadband connection (probably a flaky cable modem), and a couple of days ago I bought a new Airport Extreme a/b/g/n wireless router, which is at the other end of the house from my computer and now-defunct mice.
Very bizarre. Can the Bluetooth chip or antenna in a MacBook Pro burn out or otherwise fail?
