Ipad 3 cable connector problem

I have a hard time getting a good connection at the ipad when I plug in the usb cable to it for charging from the power adapter and cannot get a connection to my computer hardly ever. Any way to correct this or is it a problem inside the connection port?
I have to wiggle it and play with it and be very careful once I get a connection and it shows charging

Make sure there is no dust in the connector or that a pin is not bent.
Since it's still under warranty, take it to an Apple Store for evaluation.

Upgrade my IPAD from 8.1.3 to 8.2 via Itunes (from Windows Computer)
First I backed up the IPAD via Itunes on my Windows laptop.
Then I click upgrade IOS to 8.2 on Itunes.
Later got a upgrade failure pop up window.
Now IPAD is locked with a blank screen showing a cable connector and an arrow pointing to Itunes symbol.
The IPAD does not boot, and the Itunes does not recognize the IPAD.
turning on/off the IPAD does not change the display.
How to restore or reboot the IPAD?

I rebooted the computer and tried once again using a different USP port. This did the trick!. I was able to run the IOS update and it stuck and timed out while the Itunes was indicating that it was verifying the IOS installation (on ipad I could see a grayed working bar). After it timed out the IPAD completed the task, and now it is working again.

Loose iPad mini connector

Hello,
I have just found out that my iPad mini connector is loose.
When I wiggle it around it says that it is charging, not charging, fully charged etc.
I am really afraid that the problem is inside my iPad mini connector.

Borrow a cable from someone and try again.
If that works you know you need a new one.
If none of your friends have a mini then take it to the Genius Bar at your nearest Apple Store.
If it charges there then you'll know as well (They may even give you a replacement cable for free).

TV Tunner cable connector for Antenna

I recently received a Lenovo All-In-One PC model 3000 C315. The Windows7 Device Manager shows "AverMedia A317 Mini-Card Hybrid Analog/ATSC" device. The TV Tuner connector is not the normal coaxial f-type. It is smaller. What type of cable connector fits this TV Tuner?

I have exactly the same issue with my C315 computer. No cable to attach to the proprietary input so I can hook up coax. I have spent over 4 hours on the phone setting up a return and then ordering a replacement after being told I can not get the part separately. Well the new C315 came with no cable and now my salesman is trying to hunt down the cable. This is a problem with fulfillment on the Lenovo end. If you see the review of the C315 on the PCMag website you can clearly see what the cable is supposed to look like. If you see the review at Techspot in the comments section they mentioned their review unit did not come with a cable either, but they contacted Lenovo and was able to receive the cable. I have attempted several times to get through their first line of defense on their call center and finally got to sales where they are attempting to find me the cable. If they don't, I have no other choice than to return it. Can not watch TV without that $5 cable (at most). I am still being told that they do not ship the cable with the PC and you have to order it...problem is, no one can find the part number for the darn thing. Very Frustrated.

VGA iPad cable and PC screen

I just bought a VGA iPad cable to connect my iPad to a PC screen, so that I can view movies or TV shows that I have purchased via iTunes. Unfortunately, once I download the purchased iTunes store show I get an incompatibility message that the type of screen is not authorized to view !

I just came back from the Apple store. My iPhone4 DOES have a working line out when plugged into a Apple name brand dock connector. I don't know why my SendStation refuses to work only with the iPhone4 yet works with iPods, etc..
Solution? I'm buying an Apple iPod dock connector for home and will try to find something with line out for the car - Apple says they do not make one.

Apple does not read posts in these user-to-user forums, so you are not talking to Apple here.
It's 100% normal for Apple to repair rather than replace a month-old machine that has malfunctioned. Have it repaired. If the same problem recurs, have it repaired again, and have Apple examine your video adapter. It may be causing the problem, particularly if it's a cheap third-party adapter.

Apple iPad Camera Connector query

for starters i have a Sony Digital Still Camera so the Apple card reader wont be any good for that.
Although i do have a perfectly good USB Card reader that can cope with every memory card that was ever made, so copying from Sony Memory Card to SD card isnt a problem.
However my question is this :- if i can put my photos for the iPad2 into my PC iTunes Program why do i need the Apple iPad Camera Connector ?.
On the other hand, wouldn't it sometimes be easier/quicker to put MUSIC onto a SD Memory Card (instead of into iTunes), so why cant i transfer Music to the iPad2 using this Memory Card reader, or perhaps i can but it isnt documented ?.
Does this Memory card reader fit onto iPad1 as well ?.
i think i will have to give it a rest asking all these questions, and perhaps patiently wait until we actually have one of these iPad2 gadgets in our grubby little hands.

Yep the cam connector is really only for transferring photos. To be honest I wouldn't spend money on this UNTIL you find a real need. If you are just a casual photographer then you will find it just as easy to store photos on your cameras storage card until you get back home, and then transfer them to your iPad via iTunes. Some more serious or professional photographers want to back up photos via iPad before they get home in case of loss etc. Or to display to clients.
Don't worry about asking lots of questions - the better prepared you are the more you will enjoy your iPad, plus it adds to the excitement

Powerbook 15" G4 Keyboard Ribbon Cable (Keyboard Cable Connector)

I wanna ask, if the ribbon cable (Keyboard Cable Connector) of a powerbook G4 15 inch keyboard, could be replace. I have a faulty ribbon cable but only the ribbon, not the keyboard. I wouldn't replace the whole keyboard but only the ribbon keyboard, if it is possible.

I know this is an old post and you probably have solved your problem one way or another, but here is an idea.
If your problem is at the end of the flex cable where the contact material is you might look at the contact surface carefully. you might be able to identify where the actual contact area is and you might trim a 1mm or 2mm from the end of the cable and then see if you don't get a better connection.

to get to the Detect Displays button you have to hold down the Option key and the button appears.

I have an iPhone 4S and use the group texting feature ALL THE TIME. I recently updated my iPad to the latest software and made the colossal mistake of continuing my group messaging from my iPad while connected to wifi. Doing this has successfully screwed but every group text thread I am in, to the point where its very hard for those involved in the thread to keep up. When I initially messaged those I was already engaged in text threads with it created a new thread in their phones replacing my name in their phones with my email. So at that point they have to switch threads in order to read what I wrote. The new thread that my phone creates will send the message under my email not my name (related to the contact they have me saved as in their phones). The worst part about it is that there seems to be no rhyme or reason to why or when my phone will send the message as normal or under my email like it did with my iPad. I haven’t messaged from my iPad since these problems immediately began a month ago but the issues still continue. I have tried everything to get this to stop, I’ve turned off my wifi, I’ve had my friends delete the threads that my messages create in their phones. I’ve had them delete my email in their contact lists and nothing has worked. Can you help me? Any info you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Note: My phone message no different whatsoever. All the threads have remained the same. The issue is what it is doing to the people that I am messaging.

I have this identical problem. For a while my group texts didnt show up on my ipad. Then one day they did, maybe everyone in the group started using the same os version or something. Ever since my first reply to the group there have been complaints of multiple threads. I can not find a pattern for when my group text's decide they want to create a new thread. (it doesnt happen every time) Everyone in the group has deleted the thread, we've all toggled imessage on/off etc. There still hasn't been a solution.

I set up my emails coming in on my computer so they would appear on my ipad, the only problem I am having is that sometimes my emails are only coming in on my ipad and not on my computer. Until I open them on my ipad they will not appear on my computer.

I set up my emails so when they arrive on my computer, they would also arrive on my Ipad. The problem I'm having is there are times when an email arrives on my Ipad but not on my computer. Unless I open the email on my Ipad, it will not open on my computer. How can I have the two divices work in unison where the emails arrive on both at the same time?

Both libraries would need to have been setup to use home sharing with the same Apple ID in order for that to work.

1. What version of the Mac OS are you running (Apple > About this Mac)?
2. What version of the iOS are you running (Settings > About)?
3. Do you use MobileMe/ iCloud or another server based sync solution like Google or Yahoo?
4. Do other changes to synced information like Address Book content sync successfully back and forth?
Based on your description it sounds like you have a 1 way sync issue. Events sync fine between the iOS devices and fine from the computer to the iOS devices but not from the iOS devices to the computer.
Try:
