IPad 3 doesnt work(((

I bought an iPad in June 2012 and have it worked fine, but after 2 weeks of purchase, he began to hang up, then the sound disappeared and the screen became black. I updated all through itunes, but the sound is still absent, and still problem with sound and iPad still doesn`t work.

Take it to an Apple Store for evaluation.

    Are you trying to tether? because that is supported over wifi. you can use icloud to get some data to sync. bump can also transfer certain data like contacts or photos.

    Something is wrong with Apple and iTunes it's not your iPad as my iPad 3 has the same issue downloading a HD movie tonight (wanted to watch a movie in bed).
    I raised a support issue with Apple but it's 24h email response. I don't have a pc to hand to sync with, but if you do I would download on PC iTunes and then sync it to iPad. Don't start watching the movie on your computer as it then won't let you sync it.
    Normally, the download appears in a list on that download tab in iTunes. That terms and conditions link is always there anyway so ignore it. Only once downloaded does it appear in videos.

    - Try another cable       
    - Try on another computer                            
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • "find my ipad" doesnt work

    my ipad was stolen in resteraunt this sunday, but i cannot track it in "find my ipad". the status is always "offline". so i selected remote wipe, but i never recieve email told me its working.
    today i went to that resteraunt and ask their manager to check the security camera, they said they didn't saw i left anything on table. so i think maybe i dropped ipad into trash bin accidently. ok, at least no one would use my ipad log into my bank account through bank of america app.
    but when i get home, i recieved an email says someone is trying to change the password of my ipad game account...
    so how possible someone is using my ipad online, but icloud still cannot track it or even wipe it?!

    Find my ipad will only locate your device when it comes online. If someone did a restore on it, it will not be able to locate it, same thing if they turned it off.
    This is why it is so important to use a pass code to protect it.

    new Ipad 3 connects to wifi stays connected for about 3 to 15 minutes and then looses connection, constantly happens. other products connect just fine even both iphones on wifi stay connected

    Not sure what the answer is to your problem apart from suggesting a downgrade to iOS 5 - but that's not currently available because that would be too easy!
    In the meantime I assume Apple are aware of these wifi issues and may well be bringing out an iOS 6 update, well enough people are posting on these official Apple discussion forums!

    Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

    How long did you let it sit on that screen?  I remember almost turning off my iPad because it looked frozen on that screen but after I waited a little longer, it rebooted itself.  Honestly iOS 7 is horrible, it broke my wifi and caused many other problems.  Have you tried resetting the firmware to default?  If you can, do that and wait for an update to 7 to come out before thinking of upgrading.

    Try going to settings> general > reset> reset all settings. If that doesn't work. Place a headphone jack in there and just pull it out a couple times. The problem is either your iPad setting is stuck or there is actually a hardware problem and moving the jack in and out might fix it

    Try this. Turn your iPad Off. Then disconnect the power going to the router for 30 seconds or longer. Then replug the power to the router (allow it to initialize) and turn On the iPad. Hopefully everything will connect. If not, see below.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
    Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

    To troubleshoot this issue where your camera is displaying a black screen, please follow the information outlined below.
    You see a closed lens or black screen
    If you see a closed lens or black screen when you open the Camera app, try these steps:
    Make sure that there’s nothing blocking the camera lens. If you’re using a case, try removing it.
    Force the app to close, then open the Camera app again.
    Restart your device, then open the Camera app again.
    If your device has a front and rear camera, try both cameras by tapping  (camera swap icon). If you see the closed lens or black screen on only one camera, take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Authorized Service Provider for more help.

    Yes, they should be able to verify that WiFi is working properly. If I just got a new phone & it didn't work perfectly, right out of the box, before I started restoring or whatever, I'd be right back where I got the phone.

    Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it!   It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.
