Ipad 3 downloads not downloading
Can anyone help with advice on how to close 3 games that are 'Waiting' to download, Two of the downloads have been trying to download for over a week now and the third for 2 days. Also downloading a tune from itunes the itunes login and password is not being asked for and I have 1 song 'waiting' to download as well. The battery is being used up very quickly and I think it must be because of these downlaods trying to download and also the ipad seems to be getting very hot.
Any help would very much appreciated.

Check out the article below to for general troubleshooting apps downloaded from the App Store. Try restarting your iPad and once it is back up tap and hold on the app to bring up the x next to the app to delete it.

Are you using the Sky Go app to try and watch it ? If so are you logged in with your Sky account ?
If you are using the app then you could try closing the app completely and see if it works when you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Sky Go 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Sky Go app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

My new iPad mini would not download an update bnor allow access to app store downloads etc, I decided to revert to original factory settings, the screen is now frozen, showing only the Apple logo in white on a black background, it is now frozen, what can I do?

Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

I have an IPad mini WiFi (not cellular) and an IPhone 5. I use the bluetooth connection between both devices when on the road. I downloaded a navigation system on my IPad using GPS positioning. Is the Bluetooth connection working to use GPS positioning on the IPad using IPhone 5 as the hotspot?

I purchased 'the traveling willerbys via an ipad, it download onto the ipad ok and via the cloud onto my PC. However, it will not load to my iPod. All software is current and I have deleted the iPod and reload all music and audio files, everything loads ok with the exception of the travelling willerbys!!!!,. Any help please.
Did you check here:
Go to the iTunes store on your computer > Purchased (in the quick links section on the right) > sign in > Music
If it is already on your computer it will say "Downloaded" otherwise it will have a cloud icon with an arrow in it. Click it to download. -

We get an error message when trying to download in-app purchases on the iPad using an iTunes card. This worked on other ipads. Just not this particular one.
We have tried deleting and re-installing the apps and attempting the in-app purchase again. Still get error messages. Did you enable the Side Bar?

Make sure you are running the latest version of the iOS on the iPad.
Turn the iPad off and then back on:http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4057
If that does not help, delete the app and download it again.
If the issue persists and doesn't happen with another downloaded app (just get something free to test with) then contact Logmein.

Books are downloading to IPad 2 but not fully loading on iPhone 4S. Shows book cover but the download line never filled out and book remains shaded and unable to open, delete, or move. Tried un/reinstall of iBooks, reboot phone, turning on/off, syncing. Suggestions?
I contacted Apple support. He had me unsync all books from my phone through itunes and then resync all books back to phone. It work and all iBooks are now completely loaded.

What Niel said. However, an iPad 1 should not even be aware there are any updates past 5.1.1; where are you seeing this notice, in iTunes?
