IPad 3 Issues

Hello guys, i own a 3rd gen ipad (6.0.1) and it has been recently having some problems connecting to any wifi. The problem is that it says "wrong password" to all the wifi networks i try to connect to, even though its the right password because i checked. Only my ipad does this all my other devices work, can any one help?

Is this happening with one particular network or with all? Make sure iOS is updated on the device.
Try this:
Reboot ipad by pressing and holding both the home and sleep/wake buttons at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go. Then try to connect to network.
Go to settings, Toggle airplane mode on/off. Make sure bluetooth is off. Turn on wif (airplane mode off). Try to connect.
Reset Network Settings
Go to settings/general/reset/reset network settings. Then try to connect to network.
If its your home router, then reboot router by unplugging for 5-10min. (do this while you're resetting network settings).
If problem persists, then check for firmware updates on your router.(you check router manufacturer support website for downloads and instructions).

We have two ipad2 products. One is one wi-fi and the other has ATT 3G and wi-fi options. Neither of these will access the internet or email. They both just "look" nonstop. Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

How to solve unable to connect ipad issue

Has anyone been able to solve the unable to connect to network issue?

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Ipad issues downloading free apps from apps store

i have bought recently a new ipad where i was trying to use my existing itunes account for doanloading few free apps. everytime i click on free and say install it start asking me to verify the details and enter secret code of my credit card in order to continue the purchase. it really annoys that why would it ask me to purchase an application which is for free.
Please help if anyone knows the fix for the above mentioned issue.

You could remove your credit card details and select none as payment type.

Oracle BI App on Ipad Issue

We are trying to explore/use the Oracle BI App on Ipad/Iphone and stuck with connection issue. Can you please help.
Here is the issue.
Configuration of Server on IPAD:
Port : 9704
SSL : OFF
SSO : OFF
Device Locale : OFF
Analytics Path : /analytics/saw.dll
Publisher Path : /xmlpserver
With the above configuration, We are getting the following error.
Authentication Error : Server Authentication Failed, Please Check Settings and Re-Try
If I change the Anlytics Path to just "/analytics"
It is connecting to the server and taking to user login page even though save password is configured in the setup. Once login, it is the same interface as webpage. It is not Mobile App interface and hence having difficult navigating.
This behaviour is happening in all ipad and iphones we are testing in.
Is there anything that need to done on BI Server? Any Setting?
Any help would be appreciated.

W540 - USB Charging iPad Issue

I have recently purchased a W540 and a Thinkpad Ultra Dock 135W. Is there a reason why none of the USB ports on either the laptop or dock can charge an iPad 2? I have tried them all and only get the message "Not Charging" on the iPad. I believe it is a power output issue but have no idea why and would have expected at least one USB port to be able to charge? I have the dock connected to permanent 240V power as well?? Help!!!

The USB standard only allows a certain amount of power. Some manufacturers choose to ignore this upper limit and allow higher currents.
There is however a workaround to it with an unofficial tool from Gigabyte:

This was reported to work a while back, but I've never tried it myself. It may or may not still work on Haswell machines.

Syncing photo to ipad issues

I hope some one can help me. I have an ipad3 which i wish to sync some photo files from my pc too( windows xp ).
In the past this has worked fine. However i do not appear to be able to sync a whole file any longer. First attempt 150 of the 170 where synced. The next time i re-synced without changing anything even less files were synced!!!
What is also strange is that this particular file was fine previously. I have updated itunes and the ipad to the current running systems.
Please help as i am thinking about running to amicro soft cut and paste laptop as the syncing issues are wasting so much of my time.

Try to sync the photos with the iTunes alternative iPhone PC Suite and see if the same problem happens again.

Reminder Syncing Between iPhone 4 and new iPad Issues.

Good day to everyone.
I am currently facing some issues with the reminder syncing within iphone 4 and iPad 4th generation. The date and time of the reminder couldn't sync to either Ipad or iphone, the rest of the details is fine. So right now, I've to use the reminder without any internet or data connectivity. If i switch on, the date and time will dissapear.
Please advise me on this. Your assistances is much very appreciated.

Windows 7 syncing ipad issues

just got windows 7 pc and having issues syncing my 1st gen ipad to it. I already updated bios but it won't sync. Does anybody have any recommendations that I could try. I'm using a Gateway NE56R... thanks

I see. I didn't realize that you could sync any content from an external drive to the iPad without going through iTunes and as far as I know - you do have to go through iTunes in order to sync you music and videos. Have you tried syncing with iTunes? You will have to import the music and videos into your iTunes library first.
Read this discussion. The answer that was marked correct was posted by one of the iTunes for Windows experts on the ASC. According to what he is saying, you still have to go through iTunes.

IPad issue with opening PDF

Since latest update I am unable to open any PDF files on my iPad (gen 3). Anyone else having this issue and know how to resolve?

Try resetting your iPad. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time. Keep holding them down until you see the Apple logo, then let go. Reopen Adobe Reader.

Webvpn Apple IOS 6 iphone ipad issue

Hello - We finally released our Webvpn configuration out to our users and the site was working well. We are setup as follows
1) Single Group Policy
2) Single Custom Homepage that all users hit when accessing the site
The site works fine from all Devices: Mac, Windows, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, IE
All Apple Devices on IOS 5 work correctly
Since a few users have upgraded to IOS 6 they login correctly but reach a blank white page. As you login you can see the top address bar flash then go away.
Has anyone else run into the same problems? This is an issue with the Cisco code becasue we have since hosted our custom page externally and those same ipads/iphones can access it correctly. Thanks for any ideas.

We tested the site on the following devices on both Wifi and 3G. It did not matter what type of connection all IOS 6 devices had the blank page issue. The IOS 5.1.1 devices displayed the site fine. Hosting our custom homepage outside the ASA - All devices (IOS 6 and 5.1.1) displayed fine. I'm not sure if there is code on the ASA that detects user agents etc. But since upgrade IOS 6 seems to be the issue. Thanks for any help.

Facetime with iPad issues. Help please

Own an iPhone 4 and iPad (3rdgen) and using facetime without issue until ios7 upgrade. iPhone not upgraded as no space. Now I cannot receive facetime calls on iPad but can make them. Can receive calls on iPhone but they cannot connect. Not sure if just coincidence with upgrade but would appreciate any solutions.

HT4436 IPAD issue. Set up Icloud on new IPAD which works fine on my mac and phone. HOwever, when going to iCloud on that IPAD, I am sent to the welcome/set up Icloud screen. And icloud is already set up. How do I get the ipad to recognize the Icloud setup

? IPAD/iCloud set up issue. HAVE iCloud working fine on iPhone and mac. New iPad. Set up iCloud through the usual utility. However, when signing on the iCloud I get sent to the initial "Set up iCloud" screen and cannot sign in to my iCloud account - on the iPad only. Works fine on any other device.
Why? Anyone know what I might have done wrong?

You can't go to icloud.com on an iOS device like your iPad. You can only view your data on icloud.com from a computer. This is because you can already view all your iCloud data on your iOS device from within your apps (contacts in the contacts app, calendars in the calendar app, email in the mail app, etc.).

IPad issues when trying to go to App Store

I tried to download a new app from the app store, but the app store on my iPad only has images and the wording overlays itself so it looks a blur for all descriptions. The last time I downloaded an app was in Dec, and when I tried today, it looks weird, then just shuts down. Has anyone else had this issue?

First post here. I must admit that I never cared too much about Apple - until I got the iPad 2 a year ago, which is by far
the best piece of electronics I have ever had.
Loving it so much there was no doubt I would love the new Ipad even more, so I got one
on the first day it was released in Denmark (march 23.). For me the heat and recharge-issues
were showstoppers, and I ended up returning it.
I really wanted to love it but it was uncomfortable to hold, and being a poweruser I got vert frustrated waiting for recharging.
Heres the question: Can we expect Apple to adress these issues in the near future?
If fixed, then I'm right back at the Apple-store.
Can anyone share some insight to the possibility of problem-fixing - or is it just the price for owning cutting-edge technology?

Vast majority of complaints are from people comparing the iPad 3 with the iPad 2, not thinking about the increased power usage of the device and increased battery capacity.
People are expecting the iPad 3 to operate exactly like the iPad 2 despite it having a quad-core graphics chip and 4 times the resolution screen. Simple logic should tell people that such a screen and graphics power uses more power, therefore operates slightly hotter, and requires a larger capacity battery that takes longer to charge. Unfortunately, most people don't think logically before running off to complain.

Safari iPad issues

Why hasn't the safari issues (dropping out during webpage loads) been fixed on the iPad? VERY FRUSTRATING when you can't use this great product for one of its intended uses. After using many Apple products over the years - this issue is the first that has made me consider switching to another product.

When opening a web page or moving within a website; safari will just drop out to an ipad screen and you have to reopen safari. Seems to be random as it happens on multiple websites. Sometimes it seems that embedded videos cause it (ie a YouTube video) but that causes only about 25% of the dropouts.
