Ipad 3 keeps restarting, I restore it and 2 days later we're back to restarting again I really need Help!
My Ipad Keeps restarting over and over again. I will reset it to new. This will last 2 days and it starts over and over again this has been a month now. I really feel like it was a mistake to buy it! Help me make this thing useful!
this actually happened to me a few weeks ago when i wanted to try out the Firefox Aurora (step before Beta). i also attempted system restore to no avail. so what i did was actually reinstalled the older version i was working with before in frustration with Aurora. magically with no explanation, all my bookmarks came back to life. so yea try and reinstall the older version and see what that does. good luck!

You have to reset it to factory defaults. Then you can create your own accounts and so on :-)

I just downloaded today the new iphoto and after installing it i discovered i lost all my photos. this is the first time i have ever had problems with my mac and i am not sure what to do. I have been an apple customer for a very long time and it's hard to believe that they would do such a thing where you lose all your photos. i am very dissapointed but i hope there is a way i can recover my photos from the old iphoto. i have not deleted any pictures and unfortunately have not backed them up on an external hard drive. please tell me there is a way i can recover my photos. they were very VERY special to me and my family.
one very sad and dissapointed apple customer...Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. -
My Iphone 4 shuted down after tried to instul ios 7.0. I 'm only seeing the sing of iTune and USB plug right on the phon's screen
I really need help because that's only phone i got.Just back from Genius Bar and two other people at my table had the same problem. Their 4Ss aren't charging either. One of them had a fried board according to the tech. At least my HW checked out OK. It just won't charge.
The tech tried to tell me that it was because my connector was corroded, which I told him was kind of a weak argument since evidence points to that the update has something to do with it.
They're seeing a lot of these and it looks like they already have a script.
Luckily I had enough juice left to recycle it for like $180, so I picked up a 5S with a new 2 year.
It looked to me like this is going to blow up pretty big. Like class action lawsuit big.
If you have an iPhone 4 or 4S, and you haven't updated it to iOS 7, don't for now. See if a patch comes out that doesn't brick your phone. Or get an induction charger maybe? Don't just update and expect absolutely no problems because too many people are having problems right now. -

Do you get sound on any apps e.g. Music and Videos but not others ? If you do then have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. My ipod comepletly froze and ive googled and youtubed ways to fix it! its on recovery mode and when i hold the home and power button it shows the apple button for a second and then it shows recovery mode again! i need help i DONT wanna restore!

my macbook pro shuts down and doesnt let me turn it on after a few days i try to turn it on and it works but then after a few hours or so of using it it turns off again and the cycle of me waiting days to turn it back on happens again whats the prob?

When I turn my iphone on, after its been shut down (in cinema, meeting ect.) it turns on and off again. Yes I've tried updating it and restoring it. Infact i've just tried restoring it and now its been doing it for the past 3 hrs! HELP!
Did you restore as NEW, not using backup at all?

KarenThe instructions are in that link. Just follow them VERY CAREFULLY. Especially the part about:
Turn off your device and leave it off.
Plug in your device's USB cable to a computer with iTunes. [but DON'T connect it to the iPhone yet]
Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
When you see the iTunes screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 again.
When your device is connected, iTunes will open. You'll see a message saying that iTunes has detected an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in recovery mode.
Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen. -

Your files are unaffected by a reset.. no reset via the reset button on the TC harms, deletes or does anything to your files.
The Factory Reset universal
Unplug your TC/AE. Hold in reset. and power the TC/AE back on.. all without releasing reset and keep holding in for about 10sec. The time is not important.. it is the front LED rapid flashing that indicates you are in factory mode.
Release reset.
If it doesn’t flash rapidly you have released reset at some point and try again.
Be Gentle! Feel the switch click on. It has a positive feel.. add no more pressure after that.
TC/AE will reboot after a couple of minutes with default factory settings and will wipe out previous configurations.
No files are deleted on the hard disk.. No reset of the TC deletes files.. to do that you use erase from the airport utility.
Here is how to do a fully manual setup for TC which is sometimes necessary with Mavericks in particular.

I really need help with re-activating my little sisters iPad, i already set it up a couple of months ago when i bought it,but unfortunately she disabled it by forgetting her password. i followed the necessary steps to reset it again, when the iPad came back on and we put the apple id and password it kept refusing it, i even reset the password, which sent the verification the email account, i followed the steps to reset, But then i noticed the message at the top of the activate screen with the message “this iPad is currently linked to the following apple ID _______ with a a few hidden dashes, but at the end of the email it says co.uk, but the problem is the email ends with .com. I have no idea how this happened, and its driving me insane and my little sister only used her iPad for a month before this happened. for some reason the the iPad email address ends in co.uk when the actual email ends with .com
