Hey JoeiPod14, The battery meter whether you use the icon (which is better and uses less power) or the percentage, shows you the battery life remaining based on current power use. In others words as Illaass has stated it will fluctuate wildly. Example: You turn on your iPod it shows 90%, start gaming, let's say it's an online, high end graphics game. Your percent drops quickly to 65%, then you stop the game and start listening to listen to music on your iPod and the percent goes back up to 80%. In each case, the battery meter is showing you how much battery you life you have based on what you were doing at the time. Bottom line the harder the iPod has to work, the less time you will have to work / use it before the next charge. (I know-- duh!) Think of your battery meter as a gas tank gauge, it does not tell you when or where you will run out if gas or this case power only that it is close, if near empty. Oh, your question why it drops, even when I the charger, I assuming your iPod / iPhone was a sleep, powered down-- not working the CPU very hard, when you wake the device up there is power draw, so you see the fluctuations you have described, once the power surge stabilizes you get the current percent. If you restored the iPad to factory settings and the camera still locks up, you may have a hardware problem and it may be time to get Apple involved.
If it was just Skyoe, I would suggest deleting the app and reinstalling, but you can't delete FaceTime.
Can you use the camera otherwise - meaning to take photos and videos - front and back facing both work?

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Your phone doesn't do mirroring, only the 4S will do that. It only does basic AirPlay.
Websites and third party Apps need enabling before they will allow AirPlay of Video content. Some Website/App developers have not enabled their products, some simply haven't got around to it yet, others have stated that they won't be enabling AirPlay (likely as a result of licensing issues).

Assuming that it's not still trying to send the video, then you could do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

How do you turn off the mail preview pop ups, that appear when you open mail since downloading iOS 7?

Since downloading iOS 7, whenever I open the mail app, I am getting pop up previews of all the unread mail that I have asking me if I wish to either dismiss, or read the message. When I have quite a few emails, this can be an annoying, & time consuming task, which is totally unnecessary, as because I am opening the mail app, of course I am going to read or dismiss the emails.

Since upgrading to iOS6 my iPhone 4S is useless, calls are being disconnected and also the phone is often failing to dial out, is apple going to bring in any solutions? Maybe it's time to start looking to another phone company.

Let me start by saying I have been searching these threads for a week for an already posted answer and tried all suggested remedies with no results.
My specifics,
After a couple days ignoring the pop up to upgrade my iPhone 4CDMA to iOS6, I accidentally clicked to upgrade now button. When it finished my phone shut off, restarted with a time and date of 12/31/1969, searching for carrier signal, no wifi, all 300 contacts gone, along with all notes, reminders and text history. Within a minute, with my jaw hitting the ground my phone once again shut off. Then came on. Kept repeating in this manner.
What I've attempted so far,
The only way I am able to get my phone out of this constant boot loop in order to attempt anything is to plug it to my mophie or wall outlet. It still reboots repeatedly but will remain on for periods lasting up to six or seven minutes before shutting down again. My PC runs on winxp, I first updated to the current version of iTunes before connecting via USB, not a hub, followed the prompts t restore and as soon as the iTunes begins the process my computer crashes. Did this three times. Went to a friends with win7, could not get iTunes to recognize my phone at all. Went to another friends put my device into DFU when iTunes recognized it restore failed cuz my connection doesn't last long enough to complete. I then manually installed the .ipsw and tried it that way thinking it might be faster but it wasn't fast enough. I'm past warranty, I don't have Apple Care, I don't qualify for another upgrade until Nov 24 besides which a new phone doesn't resolve my lost data.
Can anyone help me?

New ipad skips letters when typing

When I am typing on my New iPad's touch screen, some typed letters are dropped. I hear the key click and I see the key icon darken, but the typed letter is not displayed. This happens in about 1 out of 10 letters typed. I am typing with one finger.
This does not happen when using the touch screen on my iPhone, just on the iPad.

Reboot the iPad and see if that helps.

Problems placing graphic into table cell. It makes the iPad locks up when previewing that page.

I have 3 table cells that need a jpeg graphic placed into them.
I can paste a grahic into a table cell, but when i try to preview that page on the iPad, ibook shuts down. I must be placing the graphic wrong or formats are wrong, like object wrap or "inline" "floating" or "anchored". the graphic shows up in the fill once I copy and paste into the cell, but it doesnt show up when I look at the file info in the inspector. Also, once I preview the iBook author project on my iPad, that page will shut down the iBook app.

Well KT.....I tried that. But it still didnt work. I have 2 pages that have tables. The first page is just a full page with text only with a gradient colored screen in the table column heads. The 2nd page has the graphic illustration in the 3 table cells. Both pages shut down when opened to full screen view. But when i remove the graphic, there is no problem with a shut down. I know its got to be something you have to do but is unwritten in any manual.
