IPad 3 reminders

Anyone know how to get Reminders enabled for location services so I can use location based reminders on the iPad? Not working for my tablet!

Your line manager only takes an easily made up list of items ticked in the iPad Reminders app as proof of what work you've done?
Surely if you hadn't done whatever work you've been given to do, it will still need doing and your line manager could see that without the aid of a list on an iPad?
Did you look in the Completed section?

Plug it into your computer. Tell it to sync with "this computer" instead of iCloud. You shouldn't have to remove any apps. Otherwise, you can save the app data by using i-FunBox ( http://www.i-funbox.com/ ) just go to the "devices" tab and select 'user applications' and select all of your apps and tell iFunBox to "copy to pc" you're done! You have them all backed up.

On my iPad reminders has a list called scheduled but this list does not show in my iPhone or Mac book pro. What do I need to do to have scheduled reminders on my iPhone and MacBook Pro?

iBooks appear in the separate iBooks app in OS X 10.9 Mavericks.
Audible handles only audiobooks. They can't help with any issue with an iBook.

Can the ipad reminders app import tasks from the calendar app so I can enter items once?

Depends on an account. The Tasks in Exchange will populate Reminders, and you can use Reminders in iCloud, but natively entering something in Calendar does not reflect in Reminders.

  • HT4970 does anyone know how to sync apple ipad "Reminders" to additonal ipad and iphone devices?

I have an ipad3, ipad mini and iphone5.  I can't get Reminders to sync between the devices so it's useless to me.  Anyone have a suggestion?

Sign in iCloud (Settings>>iCloud) in all devices you would like to sync, then turn Reminders on.
    Hope it helps

  • Synchronize Outlook tasks with iPad Reminders

How ca I do this? The iPad has been great with sorting Contacts and Calendar from Outlook. I cannot see a way to do this for Tasks. Is there a way? Is there an iPad App that. Fixes this?

Are you using Exchange to sync your other Outlook data?  If so, you can go into account settings and enable Tasks to sync with the new Reminders app in IOS 5.   I do this with my iPad 2 and it works great -- everything syncs in real time.

  • Reminders will not sync from iphone 4s to iPad 2 .. ???

EVerything else in iCloud seems to work, but I don't see reminders on my iMac, or on the non-originating device. I have an iMac, iPad 2 and iphone 4s ... Please help!!!

None of that worked ... I'm having the issue that some others are having that have to do with the "+" not showing up in the iPhone reminders app. If I shut reminders to off in icloud preferences, then I get it ... Then if I hit on, it says "merging with icloud," but the reminders do not show up on the ipad or on the icloud calendar.
if I do post on the ipad reminders app, however, those DO show up on icloud, but not the iphone ... ???

  • Reminders on iPad will not sync with iCloud

Hi everyone. I have made the transition to iCloud on my Mac, iPhone and iPad 2. Everything seems to be working fine with Mail, Calendar and Contacts. I am not able to get Reminders on the iPad to sync lists in iCloud. Or, if I create a Reminders list on my iPhone, it will not show up on the iPad. The iPhone list does show up in iCal, where it's supposed to. Any idea why the iPad is left out? I have checked all of the iCloud settings, Notifications, etc. and they are all set to share Reminders. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think I've got iCloud all settled down between my iMac, iPad and iPhone, and love it.
But this morning I noticed that a reminder I created on the iPad did not appear after an hour in iCal on my iMac. So I started creating test reminders. A reminder made on iMac would appear instantly on iPad, but a reminder on iPad would not appear on iMac. Settings all fine all around (same iCloud account and reminder calendars). I turned of Reminders in iCloud on the iPad settings, then turned it back on. A couple of minutes later all the iPad reminders appeared on iMac, but who knows if that worked, or it just needed time. So I figured all was well and deleted the test reminders on the iPad, but several minutes later they have not been removed from iMac.
So signed into my iCloud account: the test reminders were gone from there. I left it alone for a while the reminders eventually went away from the iMac. Puzzling, but it works.
If testing, best to check all three places at once: iDevice, iCloud account in Safari, and iMac.

  • Is there any way to set up reminders so that they are in due date order?

On the ipad, reminders are organized in the order of the dates they are due under "scheduled". Is there any way for it to show like that on the Mac?
Updtae: I found the answer in my preferences. Under view.

  • Reminders list iCloud

I created a reminders list on my iPad. Unable to view it on either my phone or iMac. My calendars are all synced up, so the icloud is otherwise working for the most part. How can I get everything in sync for my reminders list?

Check your iCloud account by going to icloud.com from a computer to see if your iPad reminders are in your iCloud account.  If they aren't, go to Settings>iCloud on your iPad, turn Reminders to Off, when prompted choose Keep on My iPad.  Then turn Reminders back to On and when prompted choose Merge.  Then see if they synced to your other devices.

  • Turned on iCloud, lost all reminders

Today I turned on iCloud for reminders, intending to sync my iPad reminders with my iPod touch, but it appears only the list headings synced and all the items on the lists vanished. I can't figure out how to restore the list items. Is this possible? (Note: I dont' sync reminders with calendars; I just build lists in reminders from scratch.) Please let me know if you need more information! Thanks in advance

Check your email on icloud.com from your computer.  Is it still there?

  • Sync to Iphone3G via itunes7.7 and Exchange (via outlook2007)

Hi, I've tried to scour the board for similar issues so i hope I'm not duplicating here...
I connect to my exchange server via outlook 2007. Right now, both my contacts and my calendar sit on the server side. I am attempting to sync my calendar and contacts, but I'm having issues. Here are the symptoms:
    1. Under the "Info" tab, the "Contacts" section shows the various different contact groups that I have on the server. I CAN sync all contact groups onto my Iphone, and changes made on the fly are working well.
    2. Under the "Calendar" section, I can see one selection called "Calendar" (as I only have one calendar on the exchange server). I have tried selecting it explicitly, as well as choosing "All Calendars". I've tried to toggle the "do not sync events older than..." setting. I've tried to toggle the "Advanced" section to replace information on this iphone.
When i hit the "Sync" button, it take quite a while to finish (it looks like it's doing something). When it's finished, i can see that my contacts have been synchronized, but my calendar still shows up empty. (this is true both ways: iphone is not reflecting my outlook/exchange calendar, and my outlook/exchange calendar is not reflecting changes/events entered on the phone).
I've tried the steps outlined here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1692 , but to no avail... (there are some steps that are not possible to do - i.e. b/c it's on exchange, i cannot attempt to sync under a different user). It also suggests to delete all calendar items, but this is not possible (i have hundreds of business critical items in there). Most of these items are meeting invitations which i would like to keep track of on my phone.
I've also seen this thread: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7671152 where it seems to be the same issue, but no resolution was posted.
Any ideas will be much appreciated.

I can't get my iPad Reminders app to sync with MS Exchange server To Dos. All I see are Tasks and only the incomplete Tasks.  Are you able to see ToDos as well as Tasks?

  • IPad2 32gb missing built in apps?

I just got a 32gb iPad2 but it is missing a few of the built in apps, Find my ipad, reminders, iMessage, etc. Is there anyway I can download them? Thanks!

Reminders is built in with IOS 5.  The others are not built-in.  You need to download them.  Do a search in the app store.
There is a "Messages" app that's built in with IOS-5.

  • Kerio Reminder

    Hi there!
I use Kerio (newest Version), 1 MacBookAir with ML, 2 iPhones, 1 iPad.
When i create a folder in the iPad Reminders App the folder appears on the iPhone, the iPad, in Kerio but NOT in the Reminders-App in the MacBookAir (with ML). Is there a problem with syncing Folders in the reminder app in Mountain Lion?
    Thanks!
    Karl Heinz

From searching online this appears to be a common bug. iCal alarms will not pop up, or have a random pattern. While I've been typing this two alarms have not appeared.
Changing the "turn off alarms" option in preferences has no effect, neither does deleting the cache files as someone else has suggested. From my digging around it looks like this started with Leopard.
Some people have suggested that rebooting is a temporary fix to this problem, but I don't want to reboot on a regular basis (if I wanted to do that I'd go back to my Windows laptop).
It defies belief that a calendar program can not remind you of events. Interestingly, when I sync to my Nokia N95 every reminder appears fine. In fact this is the only way I have now of not forgetting meetings.
Can we try and assimilate all instances of this in one thread for Apple Support to look and and get some sort of coherent view of the problem? Also please leave details about your versions of OSX, iCal & hardware Thanks.
