IPad 3 settings and icloud

I Went to settings on my iPad 3 And noticed that iCloud,messages, FaceTime,Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and Vimeo are all faint and when I touch them nothing Happens. What caused this and what's the fix?

Looks like you currently have Settings > General > Restrictions > Account (under the 'Allow Changes' heading) set to 'Don't Allow Changes' - change that to Allow Changes and you should then be able to access/change them

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the other ID. When you delete the account it will prompt you about what to do with the iCloud data. If you need to migrate it and merge it with the data in the new account choose Keep on My iDevice; then choose Merge to upload the data and merge it with the new account. If your data is already in the other account and you don't need to migrate it to the other account, choose Delete from My iDevice.

Turn OFF the restriction to allow changes to accounts you've set in Settings > General > Restrictions.

Unless as part of a backup, or stored somewhere else, they are gone.
Your son needs his own Apple ID for iCloud, FaceTime & iMessage. He can continue to use yours for iTunes content, but for everything else, he needs his own.
When you did what you did, as far as iCloud knows, this is the same person with multiple devices, and that's they way things are supposed to work: keep everything in sync.

I turned off icloud now i want to turn on but nothing happens when i am in settings and icloud doesn't work

That setting is for turning on iTunes Match, if you are an iTunes Match subscriber. (iTunes Match is a separate service you can pay to subscribe to which will allow you to access your music library from iCloud - see http://www.apple.com/itunes/itunes-match/. When it is turned on, all music on the device is deleted and must then be accessed through your iTunes Match account.)

Is it possible for two people to use one iMac with iPhone and iPad separate iTunes and iCloud acc?

Apologies if this is a very obvious question. I have one iMac that my husband and I use, he has an iPhone that he syncs with the iMac via iTunes for app such as docs to go. I recently purchased an iPad, I want to also sync with the iMac. Is it possible to use two iTunes and two iCloud acc to one iMac? We would like to pick and choose what we sync as we keep separate docs etc on the iMac, can this be done?

Yes. Just set up your own account in System Preferences > Accounts (User &groups in Mountain Lion). You'll have your own seperate everything including mail.

You will have to do more than simply changing settings in your moms account. To set up everything in your own account, go to Settings > iCloud > scroll down and press sign out. Before you set that up, you will have to make a new iCould account which you can simply do after you sign out of your mom's account on your devices.

For the past week or so I no longer see the toolbar in the Comcast Help Forums to reply to a post made in that forum. Has there been a change made to my iPad 3 settings and how to fix it?

Has something changed in the iPad 3? I Go to the Comcast Help Forums daily as a Volunteer Moderator and for the past week or so when I open a post in the Forum and attempt to reply to the post, ai no longer have a toolbar which contains different options that should be
available to me. Such as quote, font. Font size, inserting a link or image,etc.
Now- I do not have a toolbar at all! I already contacted Lithium who is the company that creates and maintains the Comcat Help F or umps.
What has happened and how do I resolve this? I would not be at all happy if Apple has done something that is now preventing me access.
I use my iPsd 3 daily for monitoring and helping in the Comcast Help Forums.

If this is what you are used to seeing in the Comcast forum, you need a browser that can identify as a desktop browser. Safari does not do this. I am using iCab Mobile and this is what the forum looks like when I sign in.

if password is correct - you are not connected to internet. Connect if you can. If you can't connect - you may have to restore ipad in recovery mode.
But if password is incorrect - that will render ipad useless.

View Account under Cellular Data in iPad Air Settings not working

I purchased a new iPad Air with cellular last week and successfully established an account with Verizon on the iPad. Up until Saturday I was able to sign into View Account on the iPad in Settings and saw that my usage amount stayed current. I also was able to create a sign-on on the Verizon website and login with no problem up until Saturday. Beginning Saturday View Account on the iPad says my sign in credentials are incorrect. I know they are correct. Not only that the Verizon website says "the activity you are attempting is not available" when I try to sign there. Because Verizon is not offering unlimited usage I need to closely monitor because my teenagers have been using the iPad. I called Verizon and they blamed Apple and said contact them. This does not seem like an Apple issue to me. Anyone else experiencing this? If I go over my usage limit, it's expensive.

Yes I installed the MyVerizon app and returns an error.
I been searching around the Internet and everyone is saying that after you initially activate with one carrier on the iPad Air you can remove the SIM and replace with another from a different carrier. According to one article, Apple engineers included a wide range of bands for the iPad Air. Sorry. There's nothing anyone can do. The current version of the facebook app will not run on 4.2.1. The iPhone 3G won't run anything higher than 4.2.1. You're stuck.
Maybe it's time to buy yourself a new iPod Touch.
