IPad 3 with iOS 7: Any way to close/exit all apps with one action?

While there are some things that I like about iOS 7, there is one long term gripe that I have that's been made worse by iOS 7. I have an iPad 3, and usually close (exit) all the apps that I've used that day at the end of the day, then put the iPad on the charger for the night. I'm really tired of having to fling all the apps off the screen to close them...being able to do this with 2 or 3 apps at a time is really not helpful, either *smile*.
Is there any way that I can just close all the open apps with one gesture or action? This would be so nice, flinging apps off the screen is not an improvement for me over the previous method of tapping on X's, what would be an improvement would be to not have to do that to close all the open apps. Flinging isn't bad for one or two apps, but for 10 or 15, no, I can't say that it isn't really boring and annoying. Even Android has an option to "close all", good grief.

Most apps close automatically when you press the home button and move to the next app. Apps only need swipe closing if they are misbehaving or you purposefully left them open. The most notable exception being the music apps which because of their ability to play in the background always closing. In short if you're worried about saving time by swiping apps there's no need to swipe any.

I love the notes app, esspecially now that its sycronised with iCloud. I've downloaded and tried many similar notes/journal/task apps but nothing seems to compare to the one given to us from Apple. A few after market products come close to filling this void but I'd much rather have one notebook for each topic, that opens up directly by taping that topics icon on my ipad or iphone or mac. So thank you Apple for creating the notes app and giving it to us for free, now can you make additional notes apps available to is for a price? Ultimately, I would like to be able to add additional information to any of my my subject notes, as soon as the thought enters my mind.

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.
Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.

My itunes library is somehow empty and when I try to work through there to my devices it only recognizes my computer as a new one that will erase my devices if I sync with it. Any way to rstore my itunes lbraries from my device?

There is no way to lock the built-in email app. You can remove the password from the Mail, Calendars, Contacts settings, but you'd have to readd and remove that every time, probably not very practical. There are third-party apps that have a login feature within the app, so one of those might work for you. Or you can just use a web interface to your email, if your provider offers that, though many web interfaces don't work very well with mobile web browsers.
Alternatively, if your students just use a single app at any given time, you can lock the iPad to that app via Guided Access:

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself independently backed up against loss. To use a device with a different setup you transfer the old library from a computer or a backup directly to the new setup, not the device to the library. Media syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

There's no way around activation lock. If you can't find the previous owner you won't be able to use it.

However I believe you can have Aperture installed on two machines however only one may be using it at a time.
On the new iMac launch the Mac App Store - Purchased - look for Aperture and download to your new machine.

The iPhone like all iDevices is not a storage device, it is merely a mirror of the content in the library to which it is synced.
If you wish to sync to a new computer, the first step is to copy or move the iTunes media library from the old computer to the new computer. This can be done via the network or by using an external hard drive.
Once the library has been moved, simply sync to the new computer.

You cannot delete the preinstalled apps on the iPad. You can check by tapping and holding down on the icon until it wiggles. If no X appears, you cannot delete it.
