IPad 3 with iOS 8.1 worthless
SInce I "upgraded" from 7.1.2 to 8.1 it is like someone switched my iPad for a first generation model!
This means I'm no longer be able to watch HD 1080p movies without stutering and even locking.
Also, I used my iPad for music production and spend more bucks on music apps then the device costed new!
I could use AudioBus to connect a synthesizer app trough an effect app and recodrded this in Cubasis without any problem on 7.1.2
Now with 8.1 I can not even use apps like iFretless Bass, Turnado, iMPC standalone without ugly artifacts as crackling, stuttering or locked sound.
EVen Apple's own iPages has a delay when typing some text!
I already tried the suggestions found on the web without succes.
SO I kindly but urgently request Apple Inc. to repaiR, restore the damage that their 8.1 update inflicted to my property!
One suggestion: don't reset the iPad to the factory defaults from the "Settings" in iOS but use iTunes instead - for me that made a huge difference. Apparently iTunes on the computer did a complete reinstall over the existing iOS installation on the iPad, i.e. completely wiped everything before restoring.
If logging in to iCloud, iTunes et al. with the same Apple-ID you are getting your apps back and most of the data you have saved in the Cloud. However, some locally stored data may be lost forever. Especially non-Apple content in iBooks (PDFs) may be affected but also app related data when saved locally such as notes or mails. These have to be backed up manually before starting the restore!

Not on your own. Click here and ask the iTunes Store staff to put it back onto the card; they'll only do this if none of the balance has been spent.

Whats my next move as I CANNOT use the ipas at the moment!!!!!!!!Your iPhone's iOS must be same or newer than the one in backups. In your case it is older so you need to update your iPhone and then recover it with backup.

How do you get multiple screens on the iPad with iOS 5.1.1? We just upgraded to iOS 5.1.1, and we see no way to be able to open multiple screens at once. Before, there was a small button in the upper portion of any window. That button would take you from a particular window to the place where multiple windows are open at once. Does it do it differently? Is there a special setting button that we have missed? Thanks!

I don't think I've seen a way to have separate Safari screens visible at the same time. The small thumbnails were deleted in one of the iOS updates, and replaced with a multiple "Tab" system.
You can open an additional screen in a new "tab" by pressing and holding on a link until a new menu comes up.

You should not need to enter anything. the iCloud service is one of the preconfigured options.
Just choose the iCloud type from the Add new Mail screen, and enter your details in the next screen.
If you don't have the iCloud option, but instead have the mobileMe option then you will need to update your iOS. -
In the mail app why can't I see single page pdf attachment created by SSRS R2 on iPad with iOS 8?
We have reports that are generated using Sql Server Reporting Services 2008 R2 and are distributed to users by email as a PDF attachment. This worked fine in iOS 7 but ever since users have updated to iOS 8 the single page PDF is missing even though it has the paper clip icon indicating there is an attachment with the email. If the PDF is multiple pages then the PDF icon would appear but there seems to be a problem with the single page pdf that is embedded on the mail app in iOS 8.
We've recreated this issue creating a test report and sent it to iPads that have iOS 7, iOS 8 using different models of iPads (2, 3, 4) and the ones that have iOS 7 work fine. Only the ones that have iOS 8 have this issue. Also tried changing the format of the file to a PNG, TIFF and again the same results on the iPads with iOS 7 display it correctly. Another test we did was send the PDF to our personal email and open it on our home iPads we were not able to see the single page PDF on iOS 8. Looking at the headers of the email I can see the that the Content-Type is multipart/mixed. When the original is forwarded to oneself on the iPad the attachment is included but the Content-Type is application/ms-tnef.Can you check your email headers, I have also noticed this for reports that are generated using Sql Server Reporting Services 2008 R2. It could to be due to the Content-ID header I believe.
As a single page attachment on iPad will try and display inline, the Content_ID header is possibly affecting this and showing a small blank square as the image instead. Although this isn't defined as inline within the Content-Disposition header and will appear as an attachment on Outlook. -
I cannot see my picture stream on iPad with IOS 8.1.3. The pictures from iPad are uploaded and visible on picture stream on iPhone 4, IOS 7. Is this a bug with IOS 8.1.3?

For iPad, the highest supported os for iOS 6 is v6.1.3. If you want to get the security patch, you'll have to go to iOS 7.0.6.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).
Tip 2 - If you're updating via wifi, place your iPad close to your router to preclude getting a corrupted download.

Try this and see if it helps.
Settings>Safari>Clear cookies and data.
Now close Safari completely. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then "swipe up" or "drag up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
