IPad 4G 16GB in stand-by shows lockscreen every 10-60 seconds

We've just purchased 5 new iPads 4G 14GB for business use. They all are configured from the same backup with completly identical Software, every iPad with iOS 5.1.1.
One of them continiously show's the lockscreen every 10-60 seconds for some seconds, if it isn't connected to a power supply. I've tried many things, turned it in Flight Mode, tried to find something in the console-log, tried to reboot, then tried to reset it with Home/Sleep-Button, removed the case, changed location (I'm now 25km away), disabled «iPad Cover Lock/Unlock». All apps in Notification-Center are disabled.
I also think, that this behavior was BEFORE I made any change on the iPad, in factory mode out of the box.
Hope anyone can help me… :-)

By it's very nature, 5G is not as reliable as 2.4G, especially if you're transmitting through walls or, worse, ceilings/floors. What is your objection to using 2.4G?

IPad 2 16GB iOS 5.1.1 Randomly reboots???

I just got an ipad 2 16GB, brand new I installed the IOS 5.1.1 right when I opened it up. But ever since I turned it on it is now randomly rebooting itself. For no reason, just crashes and then shows the apple sign? What should I do?

First thing I would try is to do a restart of your own, Hold the home button down and at the same time hold down the power button. Wait for the screen to go black and the Apple logo to appear and in a few minutes it should restart.
If you have already done this I would do a reload of the OS from iTunes.
If that doesn't work I would take it to Apple and have them do a refresh of the OS or replace it if there is a hardware problem.

Will getting a ipad 3 16gb be big enought?

I was thinking about getting a ipad 3 16gb but i dont know if it will be big enought. I want to use it for about 300 songs , 300-400 photos , 50-60 apps , a few tv shows and some books. Also renting a movie when travelling. Need some advice.

Definitely get a 32 (atleast) if you are storing all of that. Of course, it all depends. A 30 minute TV show of mine took up over 600 MB in HD. Also, some apps are ginormous. Finally, remember that the iPad operating system is nearly 3 Gigs or so (maybe more, one thing that I really wish would be online). Try to calculate the aproximate size of all videos and stuff before hand if you want to. If I were you though, I would spend the extra money to get the 32. That way, if you get more things over time, you won't have to worry. Last suggestion, keep any apps you get organized. Our iPad is a mess which "inspired me to keep my iPod nice and organized.

You have no choice but to lose your data back to the last backup you made.

I just got the iBooks update and that fixed the problem, except the book covers look like they were done in a government printing office.

How do you manage space on iPad Air 16GB using one apple ID account?

I have an iphone 5 and the new iPad Air 16GB wi-fi only that I will be using icloud to sync back and fourth to one another. First I was wondering when I go into settings, then icloud on my iphone 5, I see Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Safari, Notes, Passbook, Keychain, Photos, Documents and data, and find my iphone on the list. So the way I understand the whole syncing deal is you turn on whichever ones of those you want to be able to view on the iphone 5 and then you go to your ipad air and do the same thing turn on and off whatever you want to be able to view on their, and thats when your using the same apple id between both devices. My next question is that the only area that you can turn off or on what you want to be able to view on the devices? Is the the settings, icloud, is that the only place in setting you turn off and on what will sync and not sync?? So in other words the apps and games you really cant manually manage. For example if I have 5 games on my iphone 5 and only want 3 of those games to sync over to my ipad air and the other 2 not to sync over, is that possible? To me the only way to accomplish that would be to create a new apple ID account, but that would eliminate the option of being able to sync calendars, notes, reminders, etc and be able to view them on both devices which would kind of suck and defeat the purpose right? Please let me know if I am on the right page with all this and if their are any other things that I should know about in the settings menu to fully utilize the managing and syncing only this or that between the ipad air and iphone 5 using the same apple ID/icloud account information.

Are you sure that if I use my windows log in rather than my husbands, then open itunes it won't delete all his hundreds of songs and overwrite with mine?
I want to maintain my own apple ID login and he wants his but without losing his songs.....

Gather up the proof that the dealership is the original purchaser of the iPad,
and take the iPad & that proof to a physical Apple store for possible assistance.

Only Apple Account Security could help at this point. You can try calling Apple Support in Canada - you'll have to find one of the several ways, such as Skype, to call an 800 number from outside of the relevant country - and ask for Account Security and see if they can help. Or you can find a friend who speaks Chinese and ask them to help you talk to Apple Support in China. There are really no other options that I know of.
Note, by the way, that these are user-to-user support forums. You aren't speaking with Apple when you post here.

This can be caused by a number of issues.
Was everything working and then suddenly stopped??
Or is this a new clean setup and has never worked.
Do you have a cable modem which is not a router and the TC setup in bridge? That will cause it. The TC must be in router mode, ie dhcp and nat.
Check the IP the MBP gets including dns and gateway..
Then check the ipad/iphone.. post what IP dns and gateway (router in applespeak) they get.

My shared iTunes library shows up fine on my Apple TV, but when I try to access the same library on my iPad to view the shared TV Shows everything jumbled and all over the place. There does not seem to be any order and many shows are missing.

When trying to access the shared iTunes library of my Macbook Pro on my iPad(iOS 5.1) the TV Shows are all mixed up. Some shows are not even displayed. The same library display normally via my Apple TV. It appears that iPad using iOS 5 has lost the ability to recoginize that TV Shows have a main show title followed by a number of episodes eg., 'Top Gear', Season 17, Episode 1 to 6, and 'Modern Marvels', Vol lll, Episodes 1 to 16. This has to be a glitch with iOS 5 as it was working fine in previous OS versions.
Does anyone know if Apple is aware of this anomally or is there a work-around? Thanks
