IPad air 2 not downloading or updating apps. Is this an issue with apple?

I Just got the iPad Air 2 Wifi 2 weeks ago. I was able to only update a few apps which was very slow, then nothing all together. Can't download or update my apps. Keeps turning in a circle and not loading. Is this an issue with apple? This problem started with my iPad 2 before I upgraded thinking there might be little or no support for it by now. I cannot be going to iTunes every time I need to download an app. Doesn't make any sense.

Thanks Brian. Did that already severally. Didn't resolve it. Had to had reset and reset settings before it started working. It's good now. Thanks once more.

Brand New Ipad Air is downloading slow, and apps are not finishing

I just bought this and am regretting my $600 investment. I've spent over 4 hours trying to figure this thing out. Safari is the slowest browser I have ever used. Apps do not complete downloading/ installing. I have reset my wireless, and my high speed internet wirks better with all my older pc's. This is brand new and I don't want to go back to the apple store, or talk to support and be insulted when they tell me it's my wireless.

I'm having the same problem actually. I'm thinking it's an issue with the store, not the device. Even loading up iBooks on my mac has been a bit slow tonight.
Maybe it's just overloaded at the moment?

Double tap your home button and open apps will appear above as smaller screen shots. With your finger swipe the open app upwards and it will fully close.
The cntrl/alt/delete option on an iPad is a reboot and to do so, press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time for about 10 seconds until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart.

My iPad is only 1 day old. When I set it up I synced it with my iCloud backup for my phone but the apps wouldn't download. They started to but then they said waiting and would go back to the start over and over again. I also just tried signing out of the App Store, resetting my iPad then signing back in and no luck.

You can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists.

Using Mountain Lion on my Macbook and somehow the appearance of my mailbox changed. How do I get it back to what it was. Have not downloaded any updates to cause this.

Well, you still haven't told us the particulars of what you're doing. But clearly you are asking your iPad to do a lot of downloading at the same time.
My recommendation:
Reset your iPad by holding the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.
Sync your iPad using iTunes on your computer. Let iTunes bear the downloading and/or burden for you.
In the future, when it comes to updating over-the-air, do one thing at a time.

iTunes Support wasn't of any use to me.
I have also been having another problem - with BBC iPlayer and other video streaming not working due to insufficient bandwidth, despite my overall download speed being consistently around 50Gb. This is also affecting AppleTV downloads
I am using Virgin Media as my ISP, and was wondering whether you do as well. This might be the common thread.

I have apps on the iPad that I do not want on the iPhone, but when I sync my iPhone I have apps that are on the iPad sync to it also. How do I fix this so only the apps/data on each device sync to it?
